Explain Your Icon In A Deep And Philosophical Way!

Recommended Posts

"We have no nation, no philosophy, no ideology. We go where we're needed, fighting not for country, not for government, but for ourselves. We need no reason to fight. We fight because we are needed. We will be the deterrent for those with no other recourse. We are soldiers without borders, our purpose defined by the era we live in." ―Big Boss

It's supposed to be a visual of life being topsy turvy, which is why he's upside down, and the feeling of being cutoff from most things, which is why it's only a headshot.

It's also not my art, so it represents laziness on my part.

Yeah, no. ^

It's supposed to be a Fall version of Jack. The brown is for the leave changes, and the backdrop is to hint at Winter. (I'll be doing a blue one in December)

At the time of this posting, my icon is a beautiful orange rose. Orange, to me, represents someone very special in my life, as well as representing creativity, energy, and power. Roses are a famous beautiful kind of flower, be they singular or growing in groups, and just so happen to be my favorite kind.

Another way of looking at this is that orange roses are uncommon in the world today. Hardly a soul grows them anymore---it's all red, white, and pink roses. So finding this rarity is something to treasure. I find my talent of writing to be the same. Hardly anyone appreciates it, and although I love it and tend to it, there isn't much place for it in my world of music.

It's either way you want to look at it. :)

To the common eye it may just seem like a picture of a scrawny emo wearing a black overcoat who applies way too much hair product, but alas, they do not have the right frame of mind. His eyes glow a luminescent blue as the water reflects, he stares deep into it as he searches for some sort of meaning - some sort of purpose. He is a nobody. Nobodies have no hearts, they don't deserve to exist. His face is expressionless, but deep down there is an inner determination to prove that he is something. Not only to everybody else, but also to himself.

As you can see, my icon is basically a portrait of the best characteristics of Sora, as I love to name him, the Hero of Light or the King of Hearts. His smile is proud, his eyes communicate firmness and bravery. The character is totally surrounded by a yellow, bright, light. The background is basically a fancy, yellow and white, reticulate.

Basically, Sora is surrounded by light, coming from the top-right of the icon. The right light thing is analogous to the good characteristics that the Right has in a lot of cultures out there. A bit of light is also, coming from the bottom-left corner, but it's not big deal: the Right is overflowing with light, while the Left is not.

Good is, compared to the Evil, predominant.

Coolest video game character ever. When I beat ddd hopefully i'll be able to explain why better. Lets just say; walks the road to dawn and can be very calm and stuff. And really strong. So strong...or, even when he's being weak, he's still really badass and cool. He just....is. He's Riku. He's dah best.

And of course he's attractive and adorable too. Duh. :P

I hope this post was umn. Enlightening? *twiddle's my adorable little fingers...*

Hopefully i can explain better later. I'm a little hyped up at the moment i guess lol

And there you go. You heard her, Iri. Our Heroic Spirit over there considers a battlefield to be better than Hell. What a joke. A battlefield is Hell itself. There's no hope to be had on one. There is nothing but unspeakable despair. Just a souless crime we call victory, paid for by the pain of the defeated. But humanity has never recognized this truth. And the reason is that, in every era, a dazzling hero has blinded the people with their legends, and kept them from seeing the evil of bloodshed they bring. True human nature has not advanced a step beyond the Stone Age.

tl;dr I'm a magus fighting for the holy grail
