It is with great enthusiam and joy that I write to you to you today, as there are only a few days before your journey to become a great huntsman or huntress begins. You have been chosen to attend Beacon Academy because either you've been to a special school that train you for combat (like Signal Academy) or be invited to the school after showing exceptional skills (like Ruby). With high hopes in your heart, you enter the airship that'll take you to Beacon expecting a regular school year yet little did you know, two criminal masterminds using a group of Faunus called the White Fang is plotting something big, something huge.

Our first post will just be about getting off from the airship then there will a time skip to the second day at Beacon when you are on the cliffs ready to be launched off to the Emerald Forest.

Name: Bella Morris (But mainly called Beast, based off from the Beauty and the Beast)

Appearance: 

Weapons: Two Dust-Powered Katana (Has the following Dusts: Red-Fire, Blue-Ice, Yellow-Electricity, Purple-Increased Attack speed) 

Semblance: Animal Senses- Bella's eyes turn red and she grows canine teeth when her 5 senses (touch, smell, hear, taste, and sight) increases dramatically. This form also increases her speed (not as fast as someone with the  semblance of speed) and more physical strength (Ex. She can jump high or carry things she couldn't before).

Symbol and the location: 

It's completely red and it's located on the back of her shirt.

Are you a Faunus? No, many people mistaken her for one though.

Personality: Bella take things very seriously barely even laughing to any jokes or cracking a smile. However she's highly OCD causing her to fuss over many things dropping her scary personality. In unfamilar situations Bella can easily jump to conclusions finding violence as the solution for everything. 

Bio: Unsurprisely, her whole family is strict. Ever since she was born, Bella was groomed to become a huntress. Outshining her siblings, Bella was one of the students who were in the top 5 in her academy. Soon enough, people started calling her Beast because of her semblance. Easily getting into Beacon, Bella was determined to be the most strongest huntress alive.

Semblance: Copy Cat - Seeing someone's semblence allows Leo to momentarily use their ability himself. He can store up to 3 copied semblances but can use each one only once unless he sees it again.

Are you a Faunus? Yes, he has a black cat-like tail. 

Personality: Leo is outgoing but he can be a goofball. He isn't smart and not interested in learning mainly sleeping during class. If you're quiet or shy, he'll do anything to get you talking or have a smile on your face. 

Bio: His parents were part of the White Fang when they suddenly disappeared without a trace leaving young Leo to fend for himself. A couple Faunus helped him but they all come and go. Soon Leo felt lonely and desperately wanted someone who would stay with him until one day an adult huntress took him in. Teaching him how to fight and signing up for an academy, Leo got into Beacon after several years hoping to make friends and find answers about the disappearance of his parents.

Are you a Faunus?: Nope, and don't ask about it (its a secret.... It's a tail, and white like the driven snow.)

Personality: Kind, but shy. Has no idea how to vent anger or  frustration, so he keeps it bottled in. Has fits where he says 'Nya'  or 'mao' when he is scared, under stress and pain, though he tries to contain it. Find it is hard to say no.

Bio: Has a mother and father who live in the woods, and trained him in the way of fighting .Was bullied most of his life for reasons he will not talk about.  But he would never fight back, no matter what the cost, due to his principles. He loved....someone..., as a young lad, but never saw her/him again, and it faded from his memory. He has no clue of the White Fang, due to his forest upbringing. He also was a part-time machine worker, and made the weapons himself.

Appearance: Aaron's hair flows in a similar way to that of Sun Wukong. In the front of it, the left side flows straight and long—like his father's. On the right, it points straight and spiky—like his mother's. He leaves it this way as a memento. He wears a deep blue sleeveless hooded cloak that flows to his calves, and is unzipped, revealing a normal sleeveless T-shirt donning his family crest: a majestic blue Phoenix. He has on plain light blue jeans held up by a black belt with a silver flame buckle. Aaron has on his right hand a blue, fingerless leather gauntlet as well. He also wears black sneakers trimmed with flowing white designs that come to a point at the tip. He often wears an expressionless face, due to his rough history, and a small scar is etched diagonally across his right shoulder.  
 

Weapon: a simple, non-transformable dual-edges chokuto. He loops the sheath through a strap on his waist above his belt.

Semblance: Aaron has control over atoms, letting him construct weapon enhancements simply by thinking, ex. forcing ionic bonds around his sword to form a glowing shell resembling a broadsword or creating another sword copy, making dual swords. He can also trigger atomic explosions by compacting atoms into an unstable compound. However, he is very unstable after a very short amount of time during use of his Semblance, making him extremely vulnerable and unable to fight. 
 

Symbol: A Phoenix that burns blue, with its wings outspread and head facing diagonally downward. This emblem (as in the inFAMOUS franchise) changes over time.

Personality: Aaron seems to want an anti-social life, often being close-minded at first. He usually gives irrational reasons why he does so. However, he has a sense of humor, and sometimes makes and takes jokes with a slight smirk. He also isn't hesitant to rush in to help a comrade if they're in critical condition, even if he is just as damaged. He shrugs this behavior off when commented on. His words are powerful at times, as he's able to assess a deep understanding of certain things. 
 

Bio: At a young age (around 7), he was scarred after seeing his family and extended family tribe massacred and his sister gone missing. 7 years later, he met yet again the woman, he found, who was the culprit in the massacre had appeared before him, literally burning the scar on his shoulder. Aaron then trained under a weapons master named "Crew", who taught him how to wield multiple sword types, but disappeared. Aaron is no stranger to killing, as he has murdered guilty suspects and attempted at gaining information on his murderer, but to no avail. Throughout one of his Assassination missions, he had discovered his Semblance, fainting in battle. Aaron, discovering Beacon, had decided that this would be the place to craft his powers and fighting abilities.

By nature Alisa stays away from close combat, such that her bow is an effective weapon. The whip and dagger are more of a safety net. Weapons: Her weapon's normal form is a heavy, sword with a serrated edge. It's alternate state has it turn into a light machine gun.

 

Semblance: Iris' semblance allows her to create a destructive gas. This gas dissolves and devours nearly anything, but merely burns human flesh. Things that are not human, or do not live, would not survive long...

Symbol and the location:

 

It is located on her left gauntlet, where her hand would be.

Are you a Faunus? No.

 

Personality: Iris is fairly arrogant and stubborn on her own. She isn't used to working with people, and gets frustrated easily. It stems to her being socially inept and often becoming angrier as a result.

Bio: Iris' parents were graduates from the Academy themselves, and became quite legendary in their adventures. Due to their constant absence because of their quests....Iris was often left alone, and eventually became the socially inept, stubborn girl she is today. She comes to this Academy to follow in her parent's footsteps, although reluctantly. She doesn't want to do this, as the only reason she is here is because her parents only now feel she's important enough to do something with.

 Not sure, it depends on you guys. I thought we would just follow the plot of the orginal series of RWBY with Torchwick and Cinder behind everything mainly cause I'm not creative. 

 

 ((Alright, done with my second character, and now we have 8 characters once Silver makes his other character. For now I guess we should get this rp started. Everyone's first post must be about them leaving the airship and entering Beacon. You can write down about your goals, your first impression of Beacon, etc. After you posted, wait for everyone else to post. Then your second post will time skip to the second day of Beacon and you're about to be launched into the Emerald Forest. Name: Takuto Honza

Age: Seventeen

Gender: Male

Appearance:

This, but somewhat younger, and without the cigarette

 

Weapons: The same Katana as in the picture. It's alternate form has the blade split in half, and become a bow that fires of blasts of charged Dust.

Semblance: Nearly impenetrable barriers. Takuto can form these barriers around his allies, but the more he creates, the weaker they ate.

Are you a Faunus? Yes, black cat-like ears.

Personality: Takuto is a more friendly person, who is both cocky and joyful. Somewhat naive, he is not as socially-inept as Iris, but is still awkward in most situations.

Bio: Takuto is Iris' cousin. His father is the brother of Iris' sister, although Takuto's mother is a Faunus. Even though he is only half-faunus, he still retained the cat-like ears that his mother half. Since his parents were rather privileged, they managed to keep what he was a secret. Since he never experienced the bullying and torment most Faunus received, he does not understand what the hatred towards his kind is...especially since, as a half-faunus, if his identity were to be revealed...he would be hated by both sides, for not exactly being one thing.

(Ooooh, sorry Sun! Didn't realize what has happening. Also, regarding Leo's weapon, isn't Pyrrha's more of a rifle?)

 

 

Syfe stepped off the airship, hands jammed in his pockets. Ah, Beacon. It was a prestigious school, though if he had had the choice, he would've preferred to stay under the personal tutelage of his parents. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The thought of them didn't bring him to tears, as it might have a weaker being. Syfe had gotten over the grieving process. Crying wasn't going to do anything. Becoming a Hunter and living on in their memory on the other hand, would certainly make them happy, buried in their plots. Syfe smiled, and began to walk towards the school. Time to get his official schooling underway.

Alisa slunk off the ship, trying to draw as little attention as possible. She was successful, and landed among the crowd. She went with the flow, not saying a word, and making her presence unnoticeable. If all went well, she wouldn't have to talk to anybody at all today. Tomorrow was inevitable. After all, supposedly they forced them to work with others to attain some goal. And generally not communicating can lead to accidents during battle. Alisa had already decided she wasn't going to hide her wings all the time, just in large, very public spaces. It was time to get some of that respect she yearned for as a Faunus, and if they thought she was a human the entire time, that just about ruined the entire point! Alisa scurried towards the school, no contact with others.

Iris stepped off the ship, glad to feel stable, real ground after that ride. She sighed and glared up at the school which would be her home for several years. So this was Beacon. The place that made her parents into heroes. Great. Now she could become a distant parent just like them.

"Might as well as get this hell over with." She grumbled; the first student to walk and reach the academy. She had no time for stopping...even as that annoyingly familiar voice piped up...

 

"Iris?! Is that you?"

 

She groaned. Was it..? Dear God it was....her annoying, black-haired cousin Takuto. If there was anyone Iris dislike as much as her parents, it was him. She had a bit of a prejudice against Faunus, and the fact that her cousin and aunt were both a member of the species annoyed her to no end. But even as she said that, she was never vocal of it. Outwardly, she seemed to tolerate her cousin.

"Oh. Hey Taku. You're here too? That's...great..."

 

"Yeah, it is!" He exclaimed, his black cat-ears flicking. Unlike most Faunus, who hid their traits to avoid harassment, Takuto, who was unfamiliar with it, showed off his ears with pride, "I can't believe we're both here! Together! I didn't see you on the ship...where were you?"

 

Iris ignored him, merely increasing her pace. His voice was starting to give her a headache....

 "Whoa the academy is huge!" Leo was at the entrance of the academy taking in all the buildings and students who were all walking around with weapons by their side. His heart beated excitedly, his tail swinging back and forth. Some people looked at him in disgust but Leo didn't seem to notice as he began to skip his way inside the building. 

 

 Bella Morris stood alone staring out the window as the airship she was in began to land at Beacon Academy. Any students who tried to approach her met her glares and kept their distance not wanting to anger her. When the intercom announced that the students can leave the airship, Bella followed the students as they all filed out of the ship. Seeing the tall academy before her, Bella took in the scenery. It was beautiful, with the trees and benches perfectly aligned while a grand fountain was placed right in the middle. The image was ruined however when one student slashed one of the trees accidently as the tree came crashing down. "You fiend!" Her hand reached for one of her katana as she chased the poor student which is pretty much how she spend her first day at Beacon Academy.

People. Aaron's first impression of Beacon underwhelmed him. If they've accepted so many, how could all of them possibly be the top-ranked fighters? Not only that, but the amount of open space around him left no excuses for people to be crowding so heavily. To him, it seemed people who arrived to Beacon had seemed to have fallen in love with the school so much, that they would squirm for joy whenever the word was mentioned, but he couldn't comprehend why. Yet, Aaron couldn't help but relax his muscles when they approached the Grand Entryway to the school itself, and what seemed to be an air of relief had slowly trickled down his spine.

The crisp, warm air felt to Aaron as comforting as the folds of darkness, which he'd laid himself for the multitude of years prior. He cringed as the word passed through his mind, not out of hate, but out of mercy. Darkness was overestimated. It seemed as if its destructive power were the only thing that people seemed to believe in.…

A brisk announcement momentarily shook Aaron from these thoughts, as who he assumed to be the headmaster gave his opening speech, heard practically meters away from the hall where new students were gathered. Aaron strolled to the scene, which seemed silly with yet again crowds and crowds of people.

 

But he was told they only trained elites. That's all that mattered.

"Dust"? "Aura"? "Semblance"?
Aaron was left with a more-than-questionable explanation of how to get through the Emerald Forest. It seems though that there were some "pieces" that he had to collect, that much he knew. Headmaster Ozpin, as he was known as, discerned Aaron with a piercing look. Had he known the secret that the boy had hidden for years? Come to think of it, Aaron left on his application many things blank. He never took lessons from Combat School, unless his training with Crew counted… no, he would've learned of Dust and such. So, then why would they accept his application and invite him anyway? *Sigh*. Being born and raised outside of Vale seemed to make the kingdom more confusing by the second.

The woman next to Ozpin—Glenda Goodwitch?—had began to speak. "I'm sure you've heard rumors of how the teams were to be set up. Allow me to dispel them."
Teams?
"Each of you will be assigned team members, starting today, and this team, comprising of four people, will be with you for the next four years."

"So, we've created a system," Ozpin began. "The first person you make eye-contact with… will be your teammate for the rest of your time here at Beacon"

Crap. Aaron glanced at the others. He'd seen it before, probably, but he noticed people had… strange body parts. Someone, for example, had black cat ears, another had wings (small but noticeable), and yet another had a tail. He would almost consider them costumes but… they moved according to their emotions. But that was the least important part. Aaron had yet to make a bond or be noticed by anyone there. Also, a girl, black-haired and grasping a katana caught his eye... But in the worst way possible. She seemed to have a demeanor where she thought she was high-and-mighty, and better than everyone else standing there. The worst part is, she looked like she was, and something about her just ticked Aaron off. His goal today was to try to avoid everyone, especially her, in Emerald Forest. The others glanced back with equally queasy looks.

"Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path," Ozpin directed. Good, that was something Aaron could deal with. As long as he didn't need his powers. "You will be launched into the Emerald Forest shortly. Are there any questions?"

Clutching the hilt of his Chokuto, Aaron crouched, battle-ready, as Crew taught him. He had been prepared for all the challenges he was given…but he wasn't sure about what was to come…

He was at the pad, waiting to get ready. "Partners..." He said, scratching his head. Partners seemed a strange  concept to him. What would it entail? He never seemed to get along with anyone...He saw other people with tails or other body parts. Just not his color. He had his hidden, and he intended to keep it that way...He wondered who he would be with... if it was that girl he bumped into before...and if anyone could understand...

 

 ((Thank you for controlling Ozpin and have him explain everything, you saved me alot of time.   )) 

 

 Being launched off the cliff without a parachute caused many students to be nervous, however Bella smirked confidently. "This is going to be a piece of cake." She glanced around at the students. The thought of one of these people being her partner disgusted her, having one person dragging her down the whole four years she's going to be in Beacon Academy will put her to shame. 'I'll prove I don't need a partner, I'll get rid of every Grimm in this forest and get the chess piece by myself. Then they'll realize having a partner will only be a burden for me.' Satisfied with her plan, she got into position to be launched off. 

 

 Shortly after Ozpin finished his speech, the first student on the farthest left was launched off right into the forest waiting bellow. One by one, a student was hurled from their pad using either their semblence or their weapons to land safely. Leo fidgeted nervously as he waited for his turn. Did he have any semblences in store that could help him with this situation? 

 

 ((Alright, since Sun used Ozpin to explain everything already, you guys are free to be launched into the Emerald Forest. But from now on I control Ozpin and Glenda, or any of the professors ONLY when they're talking to everyone. You are free to control them if they're talking ONLY to your own characters. Now is also a good time to tell me who you want as your partner please. If you don't have anyone in mind, just go to a randomizer, type in all the characters and see what you get ^__^ OH ANDDD I'll control what Grimms you counter, the way you kill them or damage you is up to you (though dont be that person who doesn't get a single scratch throughout this whole time))

Iris was more than ready when her pad launched her up into the air. Find a partner. Get the chess piece. Sounded simple enough. She was fine with having a partner....somewhat. She could easily get this done herself. Her weapon was more than capable of taking down the demons and hellspawn that roamed the forest. Why Ozpin thought it was okay to send a lot of inexperienced fighters (like her cousin) was beyond her, though.

"Hrnt..." She grunted, landing down on the ground with a slightly painful landing. She'd shake it off. Now to find the closest person to her. Ozpin wanted them to form groups...which probably meant there was some reason for doing so.

 

"Let's go!" Takuto exclaimed happily, glancing around with anticipation. So many interesting potential partners. There were a few Faunus, along with his cousin...and them some others who were either as excited as he was, or a bit too arrogant to care.

"So when do we-" He was cut off, sadly, when it was his pad's turn to launch him high into the sky. He flailed about, seeing that the ground was rapidly coming towards him....

 

"Oh god oh god oooooh goood!" He shouted, slamming into the branches of a tree, before falling through like a plinko ball. He fell out with an oof, and gently groaned, "Ouch...that really hurt.."
