Film Into The Woods early preview trailer

Recommended Posts

I saw those, as well a Red Ridding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and The Beanstalk, and I think The Fisherman and His Wife.

Awesome! That looks like a mix of multiple stories together, I surely will watch that one.

45,000! Is Hollywood really that deprived of original material?!

Fairytales are hot. And some have mae lots of money: Prime examples

Snow White: A Tale of Terror

Hansel and Gretel: Witch hunters

Red Riding Hood.

It's a big business.

And yeah, about 45,000 since the early 1930's.

There have been films about multiple fairy tales since the 30's?

I've never seen the play this was based on but it seems like it follows the Grimm versions (Cinderella getting help from a tree instead of a Fairy God Mother and her slippers being gold rather than glass)

Then why'd you post?

At least he was polite about it. It's not like he said "*sigh* Another shit movie from a shit company who cant think of anything original. Yay."

My, My. All I hope is that this adaption stays true to the original musical's magic, darkness, charm, and memorability by a lot. But after all of the changes that happened, I'm having mixed feelings. However, I'll just wait until the film is actually released to judge it fully. I loved the original musical, so I'm gonna see this anyway.

I just wished more people knew that it's not something original by Disney.
