No one thought this would happen. No one thought another man like Hitler could come to power again. It all started when a man named Dairn Lerz became the president of the United States. In little less than a year, the entire government was stacked with subordinates, and then he sent out troops to other countries, only speaking of training exercises. Weeks later, all forces of the U.S. muscle was at taking over China and Korea. For fear of nuclear fallout, the Chinese refused to use nuclear weaponry to end this war quickly, which was the biggest mistake. Five days after the war was announced, it was over, and China had lost. Many countries of the U.N. began to panic, and the U.S. was quickly removed from it's seat, the rest of the U.N. considering this act of seemingly random war making the U.S. too dangerous to have in the union, and this decision was spearheaded by Korea, France, and the U.K., which as a result were attacked and conquered in only the timespan of three weeks. each. Russia, as well as many other countries began to gear up for war, but were taken aback at the combat style that was taken and the much more advanced technology that previously was unknown to the others of the U.N., or anyone outside of the United States for that matter. After three years of war, and too much fear of destroying the world preventing the necessary actions that should have been taken have resulted in Germany and Russia being the only real opposition to the U.S. now, but they're steadily loosing ground.
Meanwhile, on the side of normal, every day people, anyone who apposed President Lerz was arrested, executed, or thrown in work camps. People who did not have perfect, undamaged skin, bad eyesight, or a disability were put to death, if they did not get thrown into work camps by some sort of cruel luck. The majority, however, of killed or trapped peoples were musicians of any kind. From computer-based music makers to any kid that ever played a kazoo, anyone who was some form of musician was killed or put into work camps, but no person knows why. Now, rumors of a boy with a golden object of some kind freeing people have begun to spread in the hopelessness of this situation. It seems as though the world is about to end itself, and that's all because of the man Dairn Lerz, and now, the only hope is the possibility of this rumor becoming true.
Overview:
Hey all, this is my latest project in RP land. This tale will follow average RP-esk style setup. No systems or turn-based things here, so don't worry about that. This is going to follow a sort of modern day fantasy-style RP storyline. I hope that little opening was good enough to wet your apatite. Now, as of this moment, Yuffie and I are co-hosting this RP, so she has the general ability's a co-host would on average(Approve character sheets, enforce rules, the like). With that out of the way, rules!
Rule section:
Considering a recent upcroping of new RPers, I feel a general rules list is in order. If you're among the Primary Roleplayers of KH13, You're able to skip these, cause they're just the general conduct rules.
-No Godmodding. What this means is you're character is not invincible or able to destroy everyone without getting some sort of damage. Now, the damage thing IS occasion-based, like, for example, weak grunts are OK to not get hurt by, on occasion. If your character is trained in a fighting style and is going against someone else who doesn't have any or very little training, the chances you'll be hurt are lower as well, but as a general rule of thumb, just don't be a jerk about your character's power. Now, if you have something(Like say, you want your character to work through the damage, but not address it immediately, that is fine, but don't do it all the time. You're not invincible)that's fine, just don't say you're never taking damage. If you get stabbed in the chest, you've been stabbed in the chest. If you continue to God Mod after several warnings, I will be forced to remove you from the RP.
-No Mature Rated content, keep it PG14 Max. Normally, I keep things to PG13 rating, but for an RP like this, where there's likely more horrid conditions and more graphic scenes, it's more fitting to put it at 14. Please keep really gore-y scenes out of this, or put it in spoiler if you do have a scene like that, as well as a warning above it for others to be able to not read it if they are in a certain situation that makes them unable to read it. Keep love-based stuff around PG13, but you can on occasion, if you so wish, go PG14. Anything above that, or that I see as extreme act will receive a warning, and if necessary, multiple warnings or removal from the RP may be necessary. If I say your post is too extreme, you're required to edit. If you refuse to edit, I will remove you from the RP.
-Any and ALL KH13 rules apply first and foremost. If a moderator tells you that what you posted is not OK, then it wasn't OK. Don't break any of the KH13 Rules.
-No killing of other's characters UNLESS I or another member give DIRECT permission to do so. Doing of so will result in removal from the RP and a retcon(Changing of canon storyline to something else), bringing players back to their original positions before the killing of the person's character.
-No walls of text. Long posts are semi-OK, so long as not every post is 5+ Paragraphs. Make sure to space your paragraphs out, and please use the standard KH13 font, bold, underline, and italic's for any text options you wish to have. That isn't required, but I would appreciate it.
