Kingdom Hearts: Decolor Censura (Sign-Ups and Discussion)

200 years ago, the Keyblade and its wielders were hailed as saviors of the worlds, despite the weapons checkered past, which included the destruction of the world we had known. So, our ancestors didn't speak up when wielders of this Keyblade started taking up ruling positions in the worlds. Less then 100 years later, these wielders ruled the known worlds. Since then, we have loved under their heels as they fight and squabble amongst themselves, paying the price of war with our blood. Even in times of 'peace', those of us unchosen by the Keyblade are still considered little better then play things by the Keyblade wielding masters. As yet another war between the Light and Dark wielders, it is time for us to speak and say 'no more.' It is time for those crushed between to rise up retake their destiny. For the Gray in between the light and darkness to judge those who abused their power.

It is time for the Decolor Censura.

 

Censura~ Language of origin: Latin. Meaning: Judgement.

 

The Basics:

It has been 200 years since the events of the Kingdom Hearts series. Since then, Keyblade wielders have grown in power till the rule most of the known worlds in some form or fashion. Those who cannot Wield the Keyblade are treated like 2nd class citizens at best, with several worlds treating them much worse. Dark and Light Keyblade wielders war endlessly with each other, with non-wielders expected to serve as foot soldiers and canon fodder.

There is currently a truce in place, but anyone can see that it is only a matter of time before the war starts up again.

A group calling them selves the Decolor, a shadow group some still call a myth, strike against the Keybladers through assassination, sabotage, and hiding those how speak out against the wielders despotic rule. The two leaders of the Decolor are spoken of like legends, even by some of the Keyblade Masters. They are looking for more willing to fight for freedom. Though the Decolor lacks the strength for an open rebellion, it is only a matter of time...

 

~*Rules*~

1) Yuffie Kisaragi is 2nd in command of this little scout troop, so what she says goes.

2) trying to keep the rp in a PG-13 range.

3) While power corrupts, uncorrupted Keyblade Wielders are acceptable, just realize that they will have a bit of a hard time from the other Keyblade Wielders and the Decolor.

4) Thou shalt not kill another player's character, unless that player grants thee permission.

5) Godmodding is prohibited, as it detracts from the fun.

6) There is NO...rule 6.

7) This is the one you were actually looking for, where the sneaky rules maker hides a word you're suppose to put at the bottom of your character sheet to prve you read the rules. The word of today is "Judgement".

8) if there is anything you want to keep secret about your character, you can send me a PM (or Yuffie, if she's alright with that).

9) Anything else I forgot.

10) {New} If any argument over a fight that lasts longer then half a page (10 posts) without an agreement being reached between the players involved, then I will take action to separate the two combatants. I will try to do so while remaining respectful of your characters, but if I post they were split up, they will split up.

Personality: Varron is fairly monotonous. Smiles and genuine emotions are rare, and his only 'true' feelings are shown whenever he switches to his...sociopathic disposition. Otherwise, one would have to try very hard to earn any sort of reaction from Varron.Bio: Varron from a young age has absolutely despised Keyblade weilders. Since he himself is not one, he has been treated as some lesser being. His family was abducted and tortured just to make a point and ingrain something into his mind: those who use the Keyblade, no matter how kind they may seem, are hateful, spiteful, and bigoted. Overtime he developed a trump card against them, and now vows to make sure each and every weilder he meets shares in his pain.

 

Weapons: Varron is a weapon summoner. With a snap of a finger of flick of the wrist, he can summon a multitude of different weapons, which are:

~A sword, rapier, lance, spear, a gunblade, and a keyblade. These weapons are obtained by him defeating the original weapon's owner. For the Keyblade, the same follows. He is not a true weilder--the blade was stolen from a weilder he had killed. Because of that, the Keyblade he uses does not have the same power as a true one.

Gender: Male
Appearance: Small, about only 5"4 tall with dusty brown/sand-brown hair and an emerald-green set of eyes. He wears a brown/black flannel with the sleeves you can button to make short, the left one being rolled up and the right being unrolled, as well as cargo pants of a black/blue hew and slip-on sneakers
Alignment: Kinda on the fence

Personality: Timid, but nice, caring, wouldn't ever even harm a fly, afraid of nearly every single little thing that is out of the normal, even fears himself because of his ability's that aren't those of normal people, but when he isn't nearly killing his voice box around flying people, he likes to explore, adventure a little so long as it's within reason, and loves to goof off.
Bio: Born in Twilight Town, he grew up under the oppression of Keyblade masters, he hated them dearly because of how they treated everyone, his father in fact was used for cannon fodder and died due to the war. When he first summoned his Keyblade, he freaked out. He didn't want the power of the Keyblade, and hid it from everyone as best he could until his "Talent" was discovered, and continued to hide it, even after being brought to the local academy for training. He often times would pretend he couldn't summon the Keyblade anymore until they beat him till he summoned it, and slacked off in his own personal training. His only friend when he was carted off to the academy was a girl named Lyra Bei who he hasn't been able to see since, as she is unable to use the Keyblade, and misses her dearly.
Keyblade: Cloudy Heart: A pure white/white grey keyblade that is thin, short, and has a bunch of edges on the blade, the teeth are a cloud shaped into a heart, and the handle is a light grey/blue and looks like a thunderbolt, small, short tuffs of clouds serve as the guard.
Secondary Weapon (optional): He dosen't normally use his Keyblade, or any weapons for that matter, since he hates fighting.

Name:  Lyra Bei

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: She is about 5"4, like Sandrew, and wears a black set of armor that resembles like a Japanese samaurai's, only it's lightweight and smaller, as well as it's only bits and pieces of it(The sides of the arms, the gloves, the side thingy, and a helmet and a breastplate), she has her hair done almost constantly in a bun or when it's not it's short anyway and wears a sort of ninja-esk giddup that resembles Yuffie from KH2's attire, although the silver is more of a muted dark grey. She wears a bright pink sakura flower hair pin, a gift from Sandrew from their younger years, and a set of pouches as well, in a black leather.

Alignment: (Good, Neutral, Bad) On the fence

Personality: Ruthlessly peruse's her goals, focuses entirely on them and see's everything in black and white, looks at things objectively and refuses to stop moving. When you do manage to get her to relax, she  is very similar to Sandrew with the curiosity and goofball attitude. She is more alert, and hates fighting but will do it if it needs to be done, despite her extreme and similar distaste for it. Incredibly loyal, but she distrusts everyone and everything that is in her environment after Sandrew was taken, and has a very strong love for him.

Bio: She grew up in the same kind of situation as Sandrew did, only both of her parents were killed in the war as cannon fodder, and she was on the verge of dying from being on the street with little help, until he came along and managed to be able to take her in in secret for a long time, she hadn't met kindness from people since her parents, so she looked up to and respected him, and even followed his beliefs. When Sandrew first summoned the Keyblade, she was the only one who knew, his mother recently passing from a fatal illness, she took care of him in his time of absolute need. He was panic-y and distressed because of holding something he hated so much, but at this time she had developed a love for the kid: He was one of the few who still kept going despite all misfortune and even helped a few a long the way. She kept the secret, and no one knew until they were being held up by some guys with guns, and Sandrew ended up using the Keyblade to save the both of them and getting caught with it. When they took him away, they attacked and beat her as they spirited him away to the academy, and lied to her when she had asked if she could visit him, when she arrived on the grounds a few weeks after recovering, they beat her again for coming on campus ground and not being a wielder. She began to hate and distrust wielders and in general people due to this, save for Sandrew. In order to retrieve him from the academy, knowing how he wouldn't fare well there, she began to work to get stronger than the Keyblade Wielders in order to break in and free him. She dosen't care if she lives past his escape, but wants to know he's free like he should be.

Weapons: Knives, Daggers, Kunai, Katana, Ninja Stars, which can be converted to a larger size and used for short instances of flight, a buster buster sword that shrinks to keep it light weight and travel easier, and a few different small explosives that can release gasses when used.

Name: Alexander Yowai
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Is 5 "4", Has Spiky Brown hair, has dark blue eyes, wears a blue jacket and usually wears headphones and keeps them around his neck. He also wears saggy black jeans with his keys usually dangling from his pocket.
Alignment: Good
Personality: Is a bit of a goofball sometimes, and is very charismatic. He always tries to look on the bright side and help out others the best he can. When the situation gets serious, he always tries to stay calm and find the best solution/strategy to solve it.
Bio: Was born in Twilight Town, and lived a normal, calm life. He and his family were treated as normal 2nd class citizens, but Alex saw as other people were pushed around by Keyblade wielders and knows how dark some can be. However, he is also lenient towards them because he knows not all are the same, such as his childhood friend Emily. Once it was discovered that she could wield a keyblade, Alex wanted to become strong like her, and practiced with her for many days in the skill of becoming a proficient fighter. Now that his friend has started to drift away from his life because of her duties and skills as a wielder at the academy, his goal to become strong enough to keep up with her and any other keyblade wielder has been renewed and he tries his hardest to become the strongest non keyblade wielder.
Weapons: He is skilled with a Sword and Gunblade, although he only resorts to his Gunblade for serious situations.

Personality: She is usually calm and collected the majority of the time, and tries not to let her feelings guide her judgement. She only opens up around Alexander, but most of the time she tries to act fair and just.
Bio: She was raised in a decent 2nd class family for many years, although her father was used as a foot soldier and died in war, leaving only her and mother. However, she was friends with Alexander Yowai her whole life, who's actions and personality helped to fill that hole in her life, and also made her want to try and be like him. When she found out she could use the keyblade, she started learning more about how dark keyblade wielders could be, and she wanted to try and be one of the few good ones. She trained with Alex to help him become stronger and learn how to fight without relying on her keyblade, and as she got older, she started to become one of the Light wielders, and her duties had her drift further away from Alex as she started to attend the academy. As she continually saw more of the horrors that the Keyblade wielders could do, she decided to close up her feelings and not let them influence her in a way that would disrupt her duties from there on out. She secretly harbors a crush towards Alexander, but she has pushed recently pushed that down towards the bottom of heart due to less contact with him and her recent decisions.
Keyblade: Eternal Embrace. It is a thin Pink Keyblade, with spikes on both edges of her blade. The handle is like a spiral and the keychain is a heart with one side dark and the other light.
Secondary Weapon: She is skilled with a Sword and only uses it either for sparring, trying to take down an enemy without killing them or for Dual wielding.

Appearance: Is 5"8", has shoulder length white hair, wears a black jacket and dark red shirt underneath, along with dark jeans.
Alignment: Bad
Side: Darkness
Personality: He is a bit excitable and energetic, but can also be very ruthless at times. He is always looking for a good challenge and will do whatever it takes to reach his goals. He thinks that he is better than anyone else and is a bit cocky aswell.
Bio: From a young age he has been able to wield a keyblade and has lived a fine life. He learned early on that he was treated better than Non wielders and began to develop somewhat of a superiority complex. He has attended the academy his whole life, and has had no friends, which drastically affected his personality, and made him more bitter. Now he only cares for himself and does whatever it takes to get the job done, caring little for anyone else.
Keyblade: It is a thick keyblade, with one half being Dark Blue and the other being Dark Red. The tip of the blade is incredibly sharp and the blade itself feels incredibly light despite how thick it is.
Secondary Weapon: He does not wield a secondary weapon.

Name: Neena Mors

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral, very single minded towards her goal

Personality: Neena is extremely focused and intense. Each of her moves has a purpose, every remark full of meaning. She hates all keyblade wielders, no matter their situation or personality. She'd sooner stab herself than become friends with a Wielder. She is a warrior powered by hatred and a thirst for vengeance, and everything she does screams that point.

Bio: Grew up in a small village, in a world known as Elympios. It was once again, small, with only a few villages around. She had a loving childhood, full of happy memories. She didn't have much experience with the Keyblade, and only knew that those who wielded the weapon were the leaders of everything. Her young self happily accepted this fact. When Neena was six years old, she learned what tyranny was. Some drunk wielders came to her small home. Apparently one of the village residents refused to kiss the boot of the young officer. That young officer killed the man. Then he ordered his friends and soldiers to burn the village. Leave no one alive, and no evidence that the place ever existed. And so it happened. Her parents put her in a cellar and told her not to come out. So she hid. The young Neena was terrified, and every scream reinforced that horror. But she knew she couldn't scream or cry for fear that the attackers would find her. She waited for days, living off the stale bread and water that was nearby. Finally, she exited her hiding spot, and looked around to find... Nothing. No bodies, no ruins, no evidence. She cried. For a long time she sobbed and mourned. But soon, she snapped out of it. She refocused, and turned her sadness to hatred. She lived in a nearby village as an orphan, but didn't say anything about from where she came. Once she was old enough, Neena chose to train and work out as much as possible, harnessing the power of light and darkness. She also trained in acrobatics, archery, and swordsmanship, mastering each in turn. When she was 17, she set out on her own, traveling on her own, attempting to kindle the fires of revolution. Her attempts were worthless, until she met a like-minded individual known as Alexi. Together they founded the organization known today as the Decolor.

Weapons/Abilities: A ninjato made constructed from black steel, and a black bow. Is also a skilled acrobat, and can manipulate light and darkness.

LIGHT DRIVE: Channels light through her body and becomes a vessel of light. Her strength and defense are increased exponentially, at the cost of some speed, and cannot use darkness in this form, but her light magic becomes much stronger. Is also subject to some aesthetic changes.

DARK DRIVE: Channels darkness through her body and becomes an instrument of the darkness. Her speed is increased exponentially, at the cost of some strength and defense. She cannot use light in this form, but her darkness becomes much stronger. Is also subject to some aesthetic changes.

 

For the record, if you get into a fight with Neena beginning to mid RP, prepare to lose. Just saying.

Bio: A boy who idolized keyblade wielders from a young age. He trained with a sword in an attempt to be able to one day join their ranks and fight alongside them. Then he witnessed something. The father of one of his friends, dragged out of his home, beaten and killed under suspicion of being a rebel. The man was completely innocent. There had been no trial, no interrogation, and no remorse. This act changed his mind. He became much more conflicted about what he should do. He continued his training, and thought about his choices. Eventually he decided. He joined the Decolor the morning of his nineteenth birthday, and hasn't looked back. He has risen through the ranks, and is now valued as an excellent individual agent.

Weapons/Abilities: A long sturdy, slightly curved blade and a weighted scabbard used in combat. Can use basic healing magic and buff spells. Has a necklace that boosts his speed to superhuman level.

 

Name: Quincy Witter

Personality: Cold, Practical, Efficient, Intelligent, Condescending, Sarcastic, very superior acting

Bio: A young man from the city. He has always had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and constantly learns new things. So, from a young age he realized the problem with the hierarchy at hand. As he looked more into theology, morality, ethics, and political science, he really understood the problem at hand. He was the victim of tyranny. This needed to stop. Quincy took up archery alongside his studies, and learned to defend himself. He also explored the general publics view of the world. Taking all of this into account, he wrote a paper on the tyrannical rule of the keyblade and why it should be taken down and remade. Quincy tried to get it published, but it didn't get very far before he was caught by some keybladers. He was on the run for a little while, before joining up with the Decolor. Realizing his vast intelligence and value, Neena instated him as lead tactician, diplomat, and advisor.

Weapons/Abilities: A bow of light that he can summon at will. Can also use various light magics.

 

Name: Severa Orem

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: Bright red hair, waist length, occasionally done up in two long ponytails. Small face, constant scowl. Tends to wear a basic red blouse and black jeans, with some scrap armor(to be specific a pair of shin guards, one fingerless gauntlet, one upper arm guard worn on the opposite arm from the gauntlet, and on occasion a steel breastplate) 5'6", 107 lbs.

Alignment: Neutral

Personality: Bitter, very sarcastic and hate-y, unfaithful, uncaring, detached, willing to do anything to make some profit

Bio: A young mercenary. Her father was an innocent and wholesome man, but was hunted down and killed by some Light wielders under suspicion of being a Dark spy. She hated that. She soon grew to hate many more things. A good friend took her in, and seeing how hateful and angry she was, tried to train her to get her to calm down, and put that energy into something more productive. When she was fifteen, she had enough of him, and ran off, using the training she had obtained from him to make a career as a mercenary. She has been known for betrayal in order to gain but a few munny more than she would have received normally. It is unknown why she has this obsession with munny.

Weapons/Abilities: A standard sword, three and half foot blade, six inch hilt. Is also known to use elemental magic, mainly fire.

 

Name: Mali Sunt Tenebrae

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Appearance: Pale skin, pure black hair, cut five inches below the shoulder, intense gray eyes. Small, delicate frame, 5'5" 90 lbs. Tends to wear a long black dress, that seems to sparkle with intrigue, horror, and mystery. The dress is sleeveless, but she still wears black gloves on her hands. Black heels.

Alignment: Evil

Side: Darkness

Personality: Dark, mysterious, cruel, manipulative, amused by watching all the little rebels running around her feet like cockroaches. Tyrannical. If you haven't grasped this yet, she is evil. No bright sides to Mali, so don't even try looking.

Bio: Mali started as the Dark keyblade faction's young princess. She was groomed to rule the army, the worlds, everything in her sight. The Darkness was her first friend, her first plaything in the crib. By four she had already slaughtered a family servant for spilling some water on her. Her family was so proud of their little flower. She continued to grow up with this all around her, and loving every fraction of her power. When both her parents were assassinated four years ago by a certain upstart rebel, Mali took it in stride, and took on the full power of the faction. She has grown into her seat of power quickly, and is feared all over the land for her intolerance at the slightest incompetence.

Keyblade: Oblivion

Secondary Weapon: The Darkness. Of course she can manipulate it to her every whim with magic, but she also keeps a living piece of pure darkness as a pet. Think Nagini and Voldemort from Harry Potter, but scarier.

Name: Lunaris Sonyeo

Personality: Smart, stealthy, confident, friendly
Bio: A young girl who lived in the outskirts of Twilight Town and servant of a Keyblade Wilder family of said town. Lunaris, or Luna, is the servant of a a family whose head disliked non-keybladers, but died in combat a few years later. Luna along with her parents were taken by the next in line, a boy named Hotaru and his mother Subaru which weren't happy of the way most Keyblade Wielders treated people. The young girl is good with long ranged weapons, a hobby she picked up when she was plotting to assassinate her Master. Somewhere along the way she joined the Decolor as a sniper, mechanic and tech specialist.

Bio: The Heir of a Keyblade Wielder Master and wielder himself. Hotaru was born as the child of a Keyblade Master who disliked 2nd class citizens, but was happy once he passed away. He along with his mother were against the current situation with Wielders and Non-wielders. His friend Luna made him join the Decolor in order to put a stop to the reign of corrupted Keyblade Wielders. While he is part of the Decolor he is usually alone and prefers to avoid contact with other members which dislike him for his status as a Keyblade Wielder or with his friend Luna working on weapons, machines or strategies.

Personality: Driven, intelligent, dry humor, brave, loyal, devious and always has an angle.

Bio: One of the leaders of the Decolor, the man named Alexi Strannov is shrouded in mystery. He has personally taken out several high ranking Keyblade Masters and has kept the Decolor one step ahead of pursuers.

Weapons: Bare fisted.

Personality: Always kind, always fights dor the Light. Is confused and lost, but her indomitable will break manipulation soon enough.

Alignment: Good, but aligns with whoever manipulates her until the truth is revealed..

 

Bio: Born in Twilight Town,she had glorious adventures, a wife, the whole shebang.

 

Fast forward 200 years later:

 

During the assault on Twilight Town by a rogue faction of ships from Avalon, Zion sacrificed herself and became encased in magic glass. Forever trapped in the station plaza, facing the rising sun, Zion's memorial has lasted for all these years...until someonething has changed. The glass is now run through with red magic, and all around the people of Twilight Town are worried that the monument would be destroyed.

 

Keyblade Masters have come, but found nothing so far. Many wonder what this sunset orange color could be, and as burnt orange begins running through, it is apparent something is shattering the glass.

Real Name: Gaku Sakuraba

Appearance: 5ft, 9in. Regular body build. Hair color is orange, with bangs framing his head, and rest of the hair styled back (Think Sasuke Uchiha, Noctis and/or Neku Sakuraba). He wears a white graphic shirt with designs relating to sound and music (not a music band t-shirt), and occasionally wears a unzipped black Jacket with a hood to mask himself (somewhat worn like Org. XIII), with a white symbol in the back of the jacket. He wears dark blue jeans, and shoes with both white and black combination (not white on one side and black on another). He is always seen wearing special headphones over his ears.

Personality: Gaku has an anti-social personality. He doesn't really open up to people and doesn't like many people. He is a good-hearted person on the inside, but is cold, and not very optimistic. Later on in the RP, he will become little more friendlier, and allow people inside his world. When one is in trouble, depending on the situation, Gaku will help people out. He only focuses on what's going on around him and how to avoid bad situations. He has a musical taste, and prefers to listen to alternative rock, rap rock and EDM (Electronic Dance Music.

 

Bio: Gaku was born in Twilight Town. His parent's named him after the world itself. He was very optimistic and had an outgoing personality during his childhood. But everything changed when he became 14 years old. His parents were taken away by the keyblade wielders due to underground work to fight against corrupted keyblade wielders. He later heard that his parents were executed, leaving Gaku on his own. He closed himself from the world, and relied only on himself, until he met someone who shared the same pain he felt. He became outgoing again and more happier, but when the keyblade wielders attempted to take him away due to relation to his parents at age 16, he reached into his untapped power and was able to wield a keyblade, and was able to drive the wielders away, but at the same time, he lost his best friend during the fight, and grew more cold towards everything and closed off the entire world.

 

Few days after the assault, Gaku searched his parents room and found secrets his parents never told him that made both his parents and him dangerous. His parent's real last names was Sakuraba, descendants of Neku Sakuraba, a boy who helped Sora, the legendary Keyblade Wielder, during a great war against Master Xehanort. His parents were both Keyblade Wielders hiding in the dark after resisting the corrupted Wielders, and were able to manipulate both light and darkness, a very rare trait amongst keyblade wielders and is considered lethally dangerous once mastered. He is also able to manipulate anything to his advantage through special headphones that his parents left him, as long as he has the required psych pins, weapons used to fight the Noise and Reapers during the Reaper Games. He begins training in secret, cut off from cruel universe, and is waiting for the day to destroy the corrupted system he lives in.

 

Keyblade:

Replace the keychain with a black chains with a Black skull at the end of the keychain

He only uses the keyblade if needed, and doesn't want anyone to know that he is a keyblade wielder.

 

Secondary Weapon (optional): Gaku's secondary weapon is his headphones. He uses them to create light and darkness, his natural elements, and use them as weapons against his opponent. His headphones are also capable of playing any song he wants to hear, whether it's a music band, instrumental, or EDM. He uses Psych Pins to be able to manipulate anything, except light and darkness which does not require Pins. Unfortunately, If he uses the pins for a prolonged time during the fight, they will become useless and will have to resort to using Light and Dark powers to fight, which are also limited by the power of his headphones. Should he use the headphones too long during fight, it will become useless and has to recharge for 10 minutes to use for another hour, leaving him to rely on either his keyblade or survival instincts. His heaphones also comes with a built-in Player Pin which allows him to scan the areas and read thoughts while granting him powers of the Player (such as the ability to float in the air).
