How come Deus Ex wasn't counted? If Tomb Raider, Hitman and Thief can make your list then shouldn't Deus Ex as well?

Also, Parasite Eve should be up there too.

Any ways, I've played a majority of those games on the list in some form but Final Fantasy and the Mana series are the only ones I've played enough of.

Ion Storm (company) games covers Deus Ex.

According to Wikipedia it isn't a Square Enix franchise.

Wikipedia isn't a valuable source for anything and if you are going by what Wikipedia says then this is what is written on the Square Enix page,

Square Enix now publishes all of Eidos' IPs and runs Eidos' development studios. Eidos was most well known for publishing the Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex, and Thief series of games.

Deus Ex is an Eidos franchise, Eidos are owned by Square Enix. It's as much of a Square Enix franchise as Tomb Raider and the others are. Oh and Ion Storm only developed the first two games in the series, not the latter ones.

Is "Legacy of Kain" about Kain Highwind & take place somewhere in Final Fantasy IV?

Legacy of Kain is completely unrelated to Final Fantasy. It's to do with vampires and all that gothic stuff. There hasn't been a game in the series for about 11 years.

Alright. But it's still covered in the Poll of the Day regardless.

Just the demo for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and I'm in the middle of a playthrough of Dragon Quest VIII, but the game's pretty long. :P

I used to think I was a Final Fantasy fan. Until I realized that most of the games in the series suck.

I have several FF games but haven't had time to really get into any.  I intend to get Star Ocean when I finish the games I have 'cause unless it's KH, I can't justify buying more games til I've completed the ones I have, and completion for me has to be 100%

Thief is the best. <3 Tomb Raider is good too. I would love FF but I absolutely despise its turn-based battling system (the only game I can stand turn-based in is Pokémon). That's why I'm so looking forward to FFXV 'cause it's not gonna have that thankfully.
