It has been thirteen years since the final conflict between Cosmos and Chaos erupted.  Ever since the destruction of Chaos, a very fragile peace has followed.  But what awaits the world now, as a new threat beckons at its doorstep?  Will anyone be prepared for the arrival of Shinryu...?  Can the mighty dragon be stopped?  The fantasy begins now...

 

It's a cold and quiet summer evening, and the ocean waves gently crash on the shore.  The moon rides high and the town is ever peaceful, as people go about their daily night life.  Among the crowd walks a lone man, one that you could say, stands out from the crowd.  He seems quiet and stoic and he has clothing that would mark him as a solider.  His name is Lucius Sablewind.  The man always keeps to himself, closed from anyone who tries so much as to make contact with him.  He notices an inn nearby, and as he walks towards it, he sees the name of the inn up top.  "The Blazing Phoenix huh?" he says to himself.  With that, he enters the inn, and then he goes straight to the bartender and asks for a drink.  At the far end of the table, he sees a woman, no doubt a warrior, taking a drink herself.  He immediately took notice of the weapon she was wielding, and he stared at the weapon intently, wondering who could have forged it.

"Do you know the easiest way to enter the castle without being spotted?" Luna asked some of the people so that she could finish Yuzun, and Yanoto off for good. "Its kinda a secret, and private mission." Luna said to the person who asked for a reason.

Lucius overheard the woman talking, and then he walked closer and bumped into her.  He then stayed quiet and he stared once more at her weapon.  "So, your searching for an entrance to the castle?" he said, trying to sound helpful.

"Um yes its the castle of Yanoto the goddess of darkness. Apparently I can't say why i'm going there." Luna said to the man.

"There is no reason for you to tell me.  I could care less.  Come on.." he said coldly, as he led the woman outside.  He was intent on knowing who forged her sword.  He knew what he had to do.

Luna walk with the man to Yanoto's castle hoping to finally defeat her, and restore peace to Lagoona.

Lucius suddenly stops and then he raises his hand.  "Before I help you, I have to put you to the test."  With that, he assumed his battle stance, and apparently he didn't have any weapons at the moment.  "Attack me." he said practically begging to be attacked.  He had something planned, that's for sure.

"Are you sure?" Luna asked worried not wanting to hurt innocent people.

Lucius smirked.  "You have the wrong idea about me miss.  I'm not exactly a nice guy.  What I've been wondering is how did you get that sword your carrying?" he asked in a calm and collected manner.  There was nothing that could stop him now.  He knew that he had to put this woman to the test to see just how powerful that sword of hers was.  Now all that remained to be seen was how she would react.

"Well it belongs to my mother. I found it in a temple, and pull it out where I earn of my destiny, and found out that the sword is own by my mother Athane the goddess of light." Luna said explain about the sword.

It was a peaceful night, or at least that's what the silent, white haired girl in the huntress garbs was thinking while jumping on the roofs of the town she currently was."Another night, another job done." She thought to herself while looking at the bright moon in the sky. "A night worthy of Mani."The young Huntress named Rabiyu was looking for a quite spot away from the crowds and the noise so she could have a moment of rest. That is until she spotted two rather peculiar individuals coming from the inn known as "The Blazing Phoenix". She then noticed the man taking a battle stance while the girl looked a little worried by his action."That's strange..." She thought while her ears twitched slightly. "The Spirits are getting restless, but...why?"

Lucius scoffed.  "Huh, please.  Goddesses, divine swords, people sure have strange things to say these days." he said as he quickly lunged forward to attack the woman, summoning a samurai sword out of thin air.  He leaped high into the air, ready to swoop down and attack.  Now he remained silent, waiting for the woman's actions to speak for them both.

"Aura wave." Luna yelled as she sent a wave of light at Lucius that came out of her sword.

Lucius quickly blocked the attack, but he was sent back considerably by the force of her aura wave.  He was impressed.  The look on his face said it all.  He then planted his feet firmly in the ground and drew a circle with his sword that surrounded him, and then a dark energy seeped from the ground, serving as a sort of protective barrier for him.  With that, the went forward and charged towards the woman again, this time sending a dark wave to impale her.  He was confident this attack would have an effect on her.

"Light shield" Luna yelled spinning her sword creating a shield that reflect dark wave sending it back to him.

Lucius, caught off guard and by surprise by the woman's Light shield, fell to the ground, feeling the effects of his dark wave against him.  He smirked and then he swung his samurai sword back and forth.  "Interesting..." he muttered to himself, and a malice could be seen in his eyes.  That's the thing about Lucius.  You could never tell if he was a good person or an evil person.  He always changed his composure, making it difficult for people to read him.  He then clashed blades with the woman, as both demonstrated exceptional swordsmanship.  Lucius was ever more impressed by the woman's sword.

"Angel swipe" Luna said as she disappear, and reappear slashing Lucius from behind.

Lucius felt the sharp pain in his back, and then he landed on the ground, and he felt blood slowly dripping down.  Now he knew he had to show his true power.  He then closed his eyes and put his sword in front of him, and he slowly started to charge energy, which affected the environment around them.  The waves turned more violent, the wind more harsh, and the trees were swaying violently. When he opened his eyes, he headed in an almost blinding speed and attacked the woman three times with graceful arcs of his samurai sword.

"Holy light" Luna yelled that trapped Lucius in a bound circle of light that sap his energy a bit while replenishing her energy.

"What?" he said shocked.  He felt his energy being drained, but luckily enough, he was able to break free of the attack.  Now he felt tired and fatigued, and then he decided for one final attack.  "Dark Horizon!" he shouted, and a wall of darkness from both sides threatened to enclose the woman.  He was sure that this time he could and would defeat her.

The walls completely enclosed on her but when the walls disappear she was gone. "Golden Arch!!" Luna yelled during the enclosing Luna activated her ex-mode, she was in golden armor,her wings appear with pure gold, and she attack Lucius activating her ex-burst. "SHIVA!!,IFRIT!!!,RAMUH!!!,ODIN!!!,BAHAMUT!!!" Luna slash through Lucius with her mother's archangels. "Mother give me light" Luna held her sword in the air that glew in golden light. "Seek the light!!!" Luna then shot the light at Lucius being really powerful.

Lucius received the fatal blow, and he fell to the ground, defeated and breathless.  Then he stood up and nodded.  "That's an impressive sword you have there.  Well then, I guess I should be on my way.  On the cliff up ahead, you'll find an opening that leads into the lower cellars of the castle.  Good luck."  he said, as he disappeared out of thin air.  (This is my last post for the night.  Good night peoples. )

"Thank you" Luna walked to the cliffs were the castle is as she prepare to end Yanoto, and Yuzun.

Rabiyu was slightly amused by the show the two individuals made in the middle of town."That was somewhat interesting." She muttered as the man vanished and the girl walked away. "But the question still remains."In her time of inactivity a cloak made of mist covered her body. Rabiyu then began to once again look for a quiet spot to rest, her mind still troubled."Why were the Spirits getting restless?"

"Maybe you should check the symptoms to understand the disease." A voice said near Rabiyu.

In a gradual way, Joker eased off his invisibility, revealing him walking with Rabiyu.

"Fighting is always symptom of something, even if it is too much drink. Maybe this fight is work a closer look?"

Rabiyu did not seem fazed by the new arrival next to her."Agreed." She answered. "Perhaps this way we can find more of the Goddess of Harmony's warriors. Some of them must be waking up by now."The white haired girl glanced at the cloaked man next to her. Even after the scarce time she knew the man, she knew that he deserved her trust."So...what's the plan?" She asked as the hood from her mist cloak dispersed to reveal her face. "We follow the girl or we find that man. In either cases the Spirits got restless with both of them so I can assume that those two are important somehow."
