1) The story is just cringeworthy. This was the game that truly made use of the so called "nomura logic". It pretty much confirmed that Xion,Roxas,Namine,Terra,Ventus,Aqua,Ansem will come back. Not to mention that EVERY villain came back. It effectively made all the games before it useless. Lea got a keyblade, and Kairi is going to be a keyblade master, I wouldn't be suprised if Aladdin was in the keyblade war in the next game.

2) Too much firetrucking purple. That's the majority of what I see in this game when I play it.

3) Dream Eaters. This series did not need another species of enemy. Heartless would have worked just fine. I would have also preffered to have actual party members, like Neku in your party would've been amazing.

4)Sora is all over Riku in this game, it's like it's asking for yaoi kh images to be made

Meh sounds like most KH games to me.

1) Kairi was always going to be a Keyblade master, we saw that in II. There's no way you could believe that would be the last we'd see of Kairi wielding the key blade, could you? Re:coded already confirmed that all those people would return, it's nothing to do with DDD. If all trio's had key blades and Lea didn't that would just be weird, he needed one too and deserved one, not to mention his isn't "a sham" like Xion's yet no one here says anything about Xion wielding one. Not every villain came back. We're still missing half the organisation, the Riku Replica, and well the villains from worlds that weren't in this game. 

 

2) You only really see purple in the opening menu and one or two other places it's not that much.

 

3) Heartless inside dreams? Yeah I wouldn't like the idea of that. That wouldn't even make any sense. Fair enough if you don't like Dream Eaters but the idea enemies being Heartless would not work well in dreams. 

 

4) Not really they're bros who are constantly putting their lives in danger. Of course Sora would worry for him and be happy to find out he's ok. I do question whether the people that say this about Sora and Riku have brothers or even friends. Not every relationship is romantic/sexual.

To be honest Lea was mostly fan service for DDD.

Dunno if you're talking about the Dream Eaters or worlds, but you can change the color of your own Dream Eaters.

Dream Eaters are inhabitants of the sleeping worlds. They were specifically made to fit the situation in DDD. As for party members, the Dream Eaters were really cool to work with. Not to mention they're extremely adorable.

Not really sure I can say much here. Yes Sora was a bit all over Riku, but his whole character was based at the mind of a five year old in DDD for some reason. It's like the older Sora gets, the younger his brain gets. Sora in DDD honestly didn't feel like Sora at all.

2) Since when is lots of purple a downside?3) Like Winner said, it wouldn't really be good for heartless to be in the dream worlds. Though I do understand the complaint about a lack of actual character members.

 

4) I only watched the cutscenes, and it appeared mostly Sora was just worried about Riku because they started the journey together and were separated. And at the end, he was happy for Riku, instead of being a sore loser.

@Vexoria, I was noticing that in KH II, and yeah it seems to have grown in DDD.

When Kingdom Hearts III comes out everyone will forget all about their complaints.

That was actually my only complaint in this game was that Sora was used as a tool to develop everyone else's character.

I agree with the dream eaters complaint. I would have preferred heartless. They would have made the game seem like less of a joke.

The only thing I "hated" about DDD was that it was way too short in my opinion.

I am just gonna talk about the first one . I might have missed something but I am pretty sure the return of Terra and some others has not been confirmed.  Again , I am saying I might have missed something . 

I honestly thought the dreameaters looked too childish. They didn't have that badass look that nobodies and heartless often have. I sort of wish Sora had reacted more to Tron's death (i think that was the part where he dies after he falls off...it's similar to what happened in the movie).Everyone getting a keyblade probably wasn't my favourite part, for me it just sort of killed the importance of being a keyblade wielder.I didn't think the plot was half bad, if anything seemed rushed it was because the fans were getting really impatient(and annoying) so Nomura had to work on somehting like KH:DDDI liked the plot twists and I hope Nomura makes KH3 much better

I completely agree with #1. Like seriously Nomura, did you have to bring back everyone? You can't create any new, original characters and villians. I hope that the story in Dream Drop Distancw lives up to the "Dream" part, becase i hope that none of that actually happened. Of course it did lol.

1) It's a game based on Disney and FF.  Disney.  It's gonna be cringeworthy.  Whatever the game implied can be changed or dramatically plot twisted since Nomura said we should expect surprises.  Kairi was pretty much always gonna end up a member of the main trio and fighting since we saw her in KH2.  I admit Lea's was fan service.  His weapons were badass enough.

 

2) Flowmotion looks pink to me, either way it's a gimmick for the game.  

 

3) Nomura wanted to have Sora be able to capture enemies and have them fight on his side in his party.  He knew this would be really odd and random to suddenly enable heartless and nobodies to be used like this, so invented Dream Eaters.  I personally have no problem with them, they're unique to the game.  I can't see them having a large part or any in future games.  

 

4) The test is being done by Riku and Sora.  Since he can tell the dangers were he is it's natural to wonder if your friends doing okay.  Saying that showing bromance will fuel yaio fans just gives them more reason to claim their is yaio relationships, cause giving someone of the same sex a hug is oh so homosexual.

To bring anyone back by the logic they used, it had to applied to everyone otherwise there'd be a big loop hole.  I suspect killing a revived nobody+heartless rebirth will result in actual permanent death instead of them becoming a heartless and nobody again otherwise MX would just come back again.  More than likely the bulk of the revived enemies will be killed off in the saga finale.

If you thought it was gonna be a straight forward story after hearing that Plus ALL THE CONVOLUTED KH TITLES THAT HAVE CONVOLUTED STORIES THAT THE FANS FIND HARD TO KEEP TRACK OFF, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THIS STORY WOULD'VE BEEN A DECENT ONE? I think it did well for a story with trippy things like Dream worlds and Time travel. Not to mention BBS already hinted at them coming back, and really DOES ANYONE REALLY DIE IN Kingdom Hearts? (Except Disney characters, but im talking about the KH ones) I MEAN LOOK AT FREAKING XEHANORT! Plus THIS GAME WAS RUSHED ACCORDING TO NOMURA. HOW DO YOU THINK IT WAS GONNA TURN OUT? :|

1) Nomura already did an ass pull, remember Blank Points from BBS? It was said that Eraqus's heart hid within Terra's heart, so he's not really dead. He can come back.

I really don't see why people hate on this game so much.  Seriously, KH3D is an insanely epic beast of awesome proportions!  I think the story ties neatly into Kingdom Hearts 3, and leaves us, the fans, hungry for what KH3 will bring.  As many have pointed out here, Kairi had already been wielding a Keyblade since KH2, so it's only logical she's the next to become  a master.  But Lea ending up with a Keyblade is certainly something I didn't expect, but was a pretty cool addition to the story nonetheless.  And I think the villains returning was something excellent, although not all the villains were revived, since we still haven't seen the somebodies of Marluxia, Demyx, Larxene and Luxord. (If I'm missing someone, please feel free to correct me.)  And about Xion, Roxas, Namine, Terra, Ventus and Aqua returning, if you didn't play ReCoded, then you obviously won't understand why they return.  Namine told Mickey and Data Sora that the real Sora had to awaken all those who were sleeping in sorrow.  So don't blame KH3D for that.  Do not bash an otherwise perfect game!  And you also have to keep in mind that Nomura has kept his promise of bringing us KH games every year, so cut the guy some slack!  I understand that everyone has their opinion, but come on, don't hate  on KH3D so much! I'm not saying they WON'T, but there's nothing specifically saying "THEY LOVE EACH OTHER THEY'RE TOTALLY GONNA KISS IN KHIII." like a lot of SoKai fanboys/fangirls claim. Of course, the less romance that there is in the KH series, the better, in my opinion.
