Keyblade Academy

 

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

 

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

 

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

Raidyn / Toshi

 

Speeding down the halls, Raidyn had the message of needing to meet in the Gummi Hangar fresh in his mind, anticipating what he was being called for in the fit place. "Heh, yo Toshi, speed up! We don't want to be late!" Raidyn called over his shoulder. Man, I bet we're finally gonna go out and see the other worlds today! I can't wait! He thought.

 

"I-I'm coming! Slow down!" Squeaked a tiny voice nearly five feet behind Raidyn. Toshi was the least bit excited for the meeting in the Gummi Hangar, more nervous than excited really, and Raidyn rushing them wasn't helping.

 

Raidyn reached the room first, of course, with Toshi trailing behind, catching her breath as she caught up to him. "Oh hey, look, Toshi, it's Indy. Let's go say hello," Raidyn said, pointing out the boy laying against the wall. Toshi wanted to object as she had not met Indy yet, unlike her blonde friend, but he was already walking towards the quiet boy on the wall, so she really didn't have a choice and followed him. "Yo, Indy, how's it hanging?" Raidyn greeted Indy, hands stuffed in pockets while Toshi had her hands nervously held in front of her.

Rei was flying fast. Her mom had sent her out and somewhat destructive. She was somdead, but whatever. Mom's Wings of Light spell was awesome. She then put them away and dived, rolling and ending up right in the hangar. Ending up on her feet, hernpink hair swirled as her bunny ears m perked.

"HI GUYS!" She said brightly, skip-hop-walk- she just made her way over in a weird zigzag skipnhop walk motion of sorts. She stopped in front of them all.

"Everyone else get a message I guess?"

No," Raidyn said, scratching the back of his head as his face was covered with a sheet of red blush, though not as red as Toshis' face, which was firmly covered with both of her hands. "Oh, so you're Toshi? Raidyn's mentioned you a few times before... It's good to meet you in person, though." Indy nodded. He also laughed a bit, noticing his friend was blushing. "Right... Whatever you say, Raidyn." He smirked. It wasn't too often that he joked around like this, but he couldn't pass up the chance.

Brooklyn sat in his house, contemplating what to do next. "If I weather it and damage it before I spray it with matte, the kit looks more unified as a hole, almost as if it were made like that. The fact I plan to present this as a custom-made Gunpla where it was built to look damaged to be presented in a museum as a reminder of the past wars, that would be fine. Still, it will look funny. I'll just add extra weathering marker and damage after." Brooklyn said to himself, looking at the neatly-assembled, perfectly made custom version of the God Gundam. He admired the figure. "I could also just have it on desplay in a launch deck, preparing for launch. It's too pretty to have weathering and damage." He thought, looking at the kit, it was perfect. With a snap, the room he occupied was cleaned of all the plastic runner bits, and the model was finely decorated, then disappeared and reappeared in its display case for later finalization. "Now, let's look at that letter from the school..." He muttered, snapping his fingers and having the letter in-hand. He read the letter over once, got bored, and tossed it away. "Why do I alway end up getting awards from that school?" He wondered, not noticing till a moment later that there was an extra sheet under it. He flashed it over to himself and looked it over. "Finally, it looks like I'll get to explore now." He muttered, standing up, he packed up a few Gunpla for later, as well as his book. He didn't need clothes, Void basically took care of keeping his clothes clean and always smelling fresh like cherryblossom tree leaves, as well as most other menial tasks as it sends anything he chooses to teleport to the lanes between and sends it right where he wants it to be. He puts his backpack on, and then sent himself into the Gummiship hanger via the Lanes In-Between. He appeared from a hole that formed in the cealing and disappeared as soon ad he exited it completely, landing in the center of the room almost naturally-so.

"I can't hold up much longer!"

"Go Striker! Now's your chance! Use your dual-wielding keyblades to their fullest!"

"Watch Out! No!!!"

 

The weaponized heartless known simply as Striker abruptly woke up screaming as he immediately sat up. Ghost, his student, was right besides the bed with a hand on his shoulder, his eyes wide with fear and worry. "You were screaming in your sleep again, sir." the white haired boy gently informed his master, "You were having that dream again, weren't you?"

 

"I uh..." He let off a heavy sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose, recollecting his thoughts. "Yeah.... uh... What are you doing in my room?"

"The meeting, sir. It's happening right now."

"Right... Meeting... I'll be there."

 

Ghost patiently waited until the traumatized entity groggily got out of his plushy sanctuary and shuffled out the doorway. As he gently closed the door behind him, Striker's mood immediately lightened up. "Race you there pipsqueak!"

"You're on, sir!"

 

The two keybladers ran down the hallways and it wasn't long before they gathered inside the meeting room. They opened the door and walked inside, scanning everyone within the room. Ghost immediately recognized one individual from the people who have already gathered. "Rei! Hey!"

Cid made his way down the hall after getting the message that he'd been called to the hangar. However, he was simply taking his time, clearly thinking that it wasn't TOO urgent. After a while, he made his way to the hangar, and to his surprise, there wasn't even a teacher or anyone of the sorts, only students. "Sheesh...Maybe I should've taken more time to chillax..." He leaned against a wall close to the doorway, and plugged in some headphones. "Might as well get back to what I was doing..." He started playing his tunes, bopping his head to the music. Normally, he'd be talking to people, but today seemed...different to him. Like, he shouldn't start conversation. Then again, he gets weird feelings like that all the time.

 

((I swear, Cid's Sneak skill is stupidly high at the moment.))

Zale spun around, tossing his Keyblade into the air.

The Keyblade was deftly caught by Annistha, who threw it in the air again before going into a handstand.

Zale pushed off the hand stand and twirled midair, catching the Keyblade and landing in a crouch, blade at the ready.

 

~*Inside The Nexus*~

In swirling darkness, two Stations of Heart were the only thing visible. These two stations intersected, making one station whose outline looked like the infinity symbol. On the parts that weren't part of the intersection displayed the normal colors and patterns normal for Stations of Heart, but where it intersected, there was a complex pattern of light and dark. If you stared at it too long, you would feel as if something in the pattern was staring back.

Two figures stood in on their respective sides of the combined station of Heart.

"That you could trip me up with that last one?" Zale asked smugly.

Annistha shrugged and grinned.

"Hey, you said you wanted more of a challenge." She pointed out.

*~Exit Nexus*~

 

The call for students to come to the Gummi bay came as Zale straightened up and dismissed his Keyblade. He grinned at that. Finally, something interesting to do.

{Nexus Shift}

Without any ceremony, the Nexus body now looked like Annistha and observes sometimes had trouble remembering if the body hadn't always looked like that before.

Using a skipping jump she preferred, Annistha left the training room she and her brother had been using and skidded into the hanger.

"Ah, big gathering."she commented as she switched to a walk. "Hey, Strike! Did we miss anything?"

Rei spun as Ghost said her name.

There was this moment of silence...then...

"PAAANCAAAAAKES!"

 

With the most adorable flying hug tackle one could ever see, she flying hugyackled her boyfriend.

Raidyn saw as the room began to fill with new faces, and also, new potential opponents. Well well well... we've got quite a roster so far. Some of these guys seem kind of weird though... then again, Allit was kinda weird too, but she was my strongest opponent. I wonder how she's doing... Raidyn thought, crossing his arms in front of him. I'm also wondering how these guys match up. I haven't had a serious fight with anyone since Allit left. We've all been busy training and nobody seems to want to even spar with me... then agan, heh, that's obvious given my reputation... but whatever. I'm sure that I'll get a chance to show how electrifying I really am soon. Raidyn's lips twisted into a big grin. Beside him, Toshi was also grinning as she admired his confident form. She could tell what he was thinking. She could always tell what he was thinking, and internally was wishing Raidyn good luck.

Half expecting Rei's reaction, and yet not expecting the sheer enthusiasm, it wasn't long before Ghost found himself lying on the floor with his bubbly, downright adorable girlfriend on top of him, giggling. Her obvious happiness was a little too contagious as the Striker found himself giggling with her. "Out of all the words, she just had to name you Pancakes!" the weaponized heartless managed to say between guffaws as he wiped away a precious tear of genuine joy. 

 

"Hey, Strike! Did we miss anything?" a voice called out to him.

"That's Striker to you, mate!" he whirled around to see who the hooligan was. "Oh. It's you! Wazzup Annistha! How's your training coming along? Oh, and how's your counterpart doing?" A pained smile formed on his face as the heartless tried desperately to ignore the recent memory and shift into the present. "And you didn't miss anything. I think we're still waiting for others, or we're just about to begin."

A figure with large bat wings descended upon the school, and flew into the hangar. He touched down, and the wings disappeared into the folds of his scarf. "No more of Vincent's power for a while." He said, and it became apparent that he was carrying a girl. Somrene unceremoniously dropped his sister, who reacted fast enough to land on her feet. Ember smiled at her brother.

"See? I'm like a cat, always landing on my feet!" She said cheerily, clearly not bothered by her brother's actions. Somrene didn't react, striding forward, farther into the hangar.

"Let's hope you have nine lives too then." Somrene replied, not turning back. Ember merely smiled at the short banter, and skipped ahead, interjecting herself into the group easily.

"Hey y'all! Ember Valentine reporting for duty." The young ninja said, happy to have the opportunity to make some new friends. She and Somrene had never had the chance to meet any other young keybladers, being trained privately, not in a big academy like this one.

Of all the new members and old memebers, the only one so far to even intrest him so far were the boy and girl who flew in, particularly the girl. She seemed perky, but not overly-excited and peppy like that other girl who tackled the man who had the accompaniment of a man with a horrid smell. Whatever. "Well, someone seems quite happy." He noted.

{Nexus Shift}

With a possibly disturbing lack of sign of transformation or time to process the change, The Nexus body now looked like Zale.

"Ready for something other then smacking around light orbs." He replied to Striker's question. "Getting back some of our fighting skills has been painfully slow, with the memories of us before, but worth it."

Zale glanced around the room, his eyes narrowing slightly as he caught sight of Raidyn. He had wanted to take the guy on, but Annistha had said they had a two to one advantage.

His next visual stop was to Ghost and Rei.

{Nexus Shift}

Annistha giggled slightly.

"Well, aren't they cute." She said.

She looked at Striker, and her face grew conerned.

"You okay, Striker?"

Joel turned over in his bed and glanced at his clock.

"I'm late... Crap."

Joel rolled out of bed - literally - and used his bedside drawer to pull himself up into an upright position. The blonde freshened up as if it were just a normal day at the academy. As he pulled on his jacket, he thought about what sort of mission they could have. He strapped his Keyblade onto his back and made his way toward the Gummi Hangar.

When he got there, he took note of the colorful cast that had gathered there so far. There were a few familiar faces - acquaintances from his classes and such - but the rest were completely new to him. He caught sight of one such acquaintance and made his way over to him.

"Yo," Joel quickly said to Indy with a small wave of his hand that constituted as a greeting. 

Joel turned over in his bed and glanced at his clock.

"I'm late... Crap."

Joel rolled out of bed - literally - and used his bedside drawer to pull himself up into an upright position. The blonde freshened up as if it were just a normal day at the academy. As he pulled on his jacket, he thought about what sort of mission they could have. He strapped his Keyblade onto his back and made his way toward the Gummi Hangar.

"Hi guys! Anyone know what we're doing here and stuff?" She asked the first person she ran into...which was Brooklyn.

"Hey, Joel." Indy waved back to his classmate. "Looks like there's someone else who I know here... That makes two." He sighed, seemingly relieved that not everyone was a complete stranger to him. "By the way, this is my friend, Raidyn. I don't know if you know him, but we've been in a few classes together. Raidyn, this is Joel."

"Sup Joel," Raidyn said, putting a hand out to shake. "I'm Raidyn. Nice to meet you. I've heard your name around the block, even though we haven't really met. You seem like you'd make a great sparring partner."

 

Toshi at the same time was trying to force out a greeting but since Joel was someone she had never met before, nor even heard of, she was extremely nervous. "Er... H... Hello..." She said in a soft voice, wondering if anybody could even hear her.

"Hey." Joel took Raidyn's hand and shook it. "Perhaps we could spar a bit in the future."

He heard a voice nearby, and turned to see Toshi. "Hey," he said, holding out a hand. "Name's Joel. How about you?"

Might as well make friends while I can, Joel thought. They say that friends are... something. Can't remember...

Toshi, meanwhile, was a little frazzled to actually have Joel acknowledge her presence, and with a squeak, she slipped behind Raidyn. However, after a few moments, she looked at Joel and managed to gently grab his hand and shake it.

 

"Hello. M-My name is Toshi. It's nice to m-meet you..." she said softly, retracting her hand as soon as she finished, and still hiding behind Raidyn. The blonde Keyblade wielder was used to Toshi hiding behind him when she felt nervous, so he let her be.

Toshi quickly ran behind Raidyn after muttering her name. Joel couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

Before he could say anything, someone flew into the hangar and fell on his face. As he got up, Joel noticed that it was a person he knew.

"Nice entrance, Lucas!" he called to his friend sarcastically. "For once you're later than I am."
