Note:I don't hate Gen 1 at all I played those games to death when I was young

It's just I hate when Genwunners say that everything after Gen 1 is bad when in reality the games we've got in later gens were infinitely better and fixed all problems Gen 1 games had

Foolish noobs Gen II was leaps and bounds better then Gen I.

I'll never understand genwunners. When I was a kid Pokemon was obviously huge but I always remember that G/S/C were pretty popular yet a lot of people always just say, "everything was much better with 150 pokemon" (I hate when people ignore Mew).

Because of the time Gen 2 came out, it boggles my mind that Genwunners criticise everything after Yellow. Did they suddenly grow up a year later when Gold and Silver came out? o.O

I don't hate Gen 1 and I'll always love it for starting this wonderful franchise but I've never seen a genwunner make a strong case as to why it's the best and only good thing about Pokemon. They all just have sparkly nostalgia glasses on. Personally I saw people get tired of the series when Ruby and Sapphire came out but that's just because at the age of 10 people were digging Yugi-oh and stopped watching the Pokemon anime.

Totally agree with you buddy

I don't hate Gen 1 and I won't hate it but the gens that came after it improved the series so much it's amazing

We got awesome Pokemon like Blaziken,Lucario,Excadrill,Mamoswine,Latios,Latias.....etc,and the mechanics got massive improvements especially in X&Y where EV training became so much easier with Super Training

If the series got stuck with only 151 Pokemon for over 16 years the Pokemon franchise would've never survived

The funny thing is if it had only stuck with 151 Pokemon people would have been demanding more 'mons be added into the game. You can't please everyone but to ignore the changes made in the generations that followed is just pure ignorance.
