All right, here's part 2 of my fan script. Enjoy. Pick up from part 1 Pluto can be seen running down the hall. The letter still in his mouth.Cut to close up of the sun.The sun hangs in a canvas of bright, clear blue sky. The sun is so bright, that it causes a small reflection of light on the camera lens. Camera slowly pans away from the sun to reveal a sandy beach looking out over a vast, endless ocean. Seagulls can be heard on the beach. Camera then moves inland, revealing more of the island. It is a small spit of land off the coast of a much larger island. The smaller island is densely wooded, with a large outcropping of rock taking up most of the area. A few huts dot the beach and a dock stretches out from the shore of the beach a little ways in to the ocean. This island and the larger one, are surrounded by other smaller ones. This collection of islands are called Destiny Islands. Camera closes in on two young children running across the beach. One a boy, the other a girl. Sora (breathless) Hey Kairi.....! Wait up! Kairi (giggles)
Sora, finally out of breath, staggers to a stop. He looks out toward the ocean. Something catches his eye. A figure is standing in the shallows just off shore, staring off in to the horizon. It is Sora's friend, Riku.
Sora (exited) Riku......! Hey Riku, over here!
Riku does not respond. Sora starts to walk to the edge of the shore.
Sora (wondering) Riku! Is everything O.K.?
Sora's shoe comes in to contact with the water. The water suddenly rushes back in to the ocean. Sora looks up and sees a huge tidal wave heading straight for the shore.Cut to close up of Riku.Riku turns back to shore. A smile if on his face. He stretches out his hand toward Sora.Cut back to Sora.
Sora (frantic) Riku, no!
Sora makes a dash for Riku just as the tidal wave comes crashing down on them.Camera goes below the surface. Sora is seen spinning head over heels in the current. He rights himself and looks around. He finds Riku. He is sinking, unconscious. Sora starts to swim to him. Just when he is about to grab Riku's hand, the distance between them suddenly increases and Sora is pulled backward. He shoots faster, and faster through the water and then he quickly takes a sharp nose dive down. The water goes black around him and transitions to air. His momentum begins to slow as he is turned right side up. Something appears below him. A circular platform. "Dive into the Heart" Begins to play softly in the background. Sora comes to a near stop. He touches lightly down on the platform. As soon as his feet hit the surface, a flock of doves rises from the platform and into the darkness. Sora looks down at the platform. The birds have revealed something underneath.Cut to overhead wide shot of platform.
It is a very large round stained glass-like floor. Snow White is the center piece of the floor and she is surrounded by pictures of the Seven Dwarves. Cut back to Sora.He stares at the floor, entranced. Behind him, a shadow suddenly appears from the darkness. It slowly rises from the surface and takes shape. It resembles a cross between a frog and an insect with two large round, glowing yellow eyes. The creature slowly creeps up on Sora. Sora senses something and turns around just as the creature jumps at him.Cut to black.Quick cut to a bedroom wall.Sora's head quickly comes up into front view.
Sora (panicked) Aaaaarrrgghh!!!!
Cut to side view of Sora in bed.Sora quickly composes himself. He takes deep breaths. Puts his hand to his forehead. Sora (shaken) That dream again......why do I keep having it?
Sora looks over to his desk. Looks at a clock.
Sora (wearily) 10:00........?
He falls asleep again. Beat. Sora quickly comes back up and snatches the clock from the desk.
Sora (surprised) 10:00?! Oh no, the RAFT! Riku's gonna KILL me!
Sora hastily throws the covers off himself and scrambles out of bed, tripping over his shoes and falling out of frame.
Sora Whoa!
A quick montage of Sora dressing is shown. He puts on pants, shirt, waist coat, shoes, ect....... Before Sora leaves, he grabs a wooden sward from a corner of his room. He runs out of his room and down the stairs into a hallway. Sora passes the kitchen.
Voice (Sora's mom) Sora! Where are you going?
Sora stops and looks behind him.
Sora I'm going to play with Riku and Kairi!
Voice (Sora's mom) O.K.. Be sure to come back before dinner!
Sora I will!
Sora runs out the door.Cut to sweeping forward view of the main island, over the ocean, and toward an island not far away (Sora is glimpsed in a boat rowing to the near by island). The Destiny Islands Theme begins to play.Cut to main shore of the island.It is the same island seen in Sora's dream. Other children are seen playing here too(Tidus, Wakka, Selphie).cut to docks. Sora runs across them to the sandy beach. He goes a little farther inland where grass meets the sand. A simple raft is seen. A young girl is standing next to it, her back to the camera. Sora slows down. The young girl turns. It is Sora's friend, Kairi. She smiles.
Kairi (knowingly) Sora! There you are, you lazy bum! I was beginning to wonder if you forgot about the raft.
Sora (comes up to her) Come on Kairi, you know I wouldn't forget about this! We planned it together, Didn't we?
Voice (Riku) Hey! Aren't you guys forgetting about me?
Riku appears from behind the raft. A rope is in his hand.
Sora (apologetic) Aw Riku, we wouldn't forget about you!
Kairi Yeah, you're the one who said we should build a raft in the first place after all!
Riku So then why am I the only one working on it? (looks at Kairi) And you! (mock anger) You're just as lazy as he is.
Kairi (laughing) Oh, so you noticed then.
Riku (rolls eyes)
Sora It's O.K., we'll finish it together!
Riku O.K. then. Sora, go get some more wood.
Sora O.K.!
Sora runs into the jungle behind them.
Kairi (watches after him) Can I go too?
Riku Go ahead. At least you'll keep Sora out of trouble.
Kairi runs after Sora.Hmmmm.......I wonder what those two will find? Well, what did you think? Like it, hate it, I can take it!
