Backstory: Formerly a simple soldier, Lightning has since gone on to be a divine champion and savior. Due to her connection to Etro and Bhunivelze, she was aware of the conflict between Cosmos and Chaos. Though most of her personal memories are jumbled, as is her physical form, she still knows about the conflict and what is at stake.
