So anyways,as a few may know,The World Ends With You has got that re-release on android or iphones,something or other,and in that re-release,they teased at a possible sequal in the future.Ive been thinking about it more and more about as I replayed the game on my 2DS,and in the process of thinking about possible returns,new people,new rules to this world,Ive been thinking about what a possible theme can be for a sequel.
From what I gathered,the theme of the game is to open your horizons,meet new people,and open up your world.As I kept thinking about that theme,I figured,why not base the sequels theme on the world itself.I feel the theme would be relevant considering all the things Ive seen on the internet and friends opinions on the world itself,and Ive noticed a pattern with alot of people,saying that the end of humanity is at hand,hell,we have an entire meme on it,the "I dont want to live on this planet anymore"futurama meme.I figure for theme of the sequel,it would be that our main character(which in this case would be her http://www.deculture.es/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/The-World-Ends-With-You-2-character.jpg ) tries to isolate herself,as our main character in the first game Neku did,but her mindset is that humanity is going down,she views this world as destruction,lust,greed,all that bad stuff,and completely tries everything to isolate herself from this world,but throughout her ventures in the Reapers Game,her perceptions of the world change,slowly but surely seeing that the world she lives in isnt a bad place,that everyone isnt just greedy,lust filled creatures,that this world isnt just wars,that this world, your world is more then you think it is,a lot more.
This idea of course is based on my opinion of the world though so eh.
So thats just my little idea Ive been throwing around since thinking of fanfiction to write,so Im wondering what you guys think of it,and would it be actually fitting in the TWEWY sequel,something that you would like to see.Anyways,thats all I have to say on that.So stay classy.
