The Becoming Of Immortals: More Gods Edition

Posted

Hi, it's me. Josh. You may know me as just another nameless RP'er, but I have a magnificent story to weave!

You see, you know those gods? Not God god, I'm talking about the GOD's! The Romans, Norse, Egyptians, all of them! This guy I know is one of them! Of course, I don't fully believe him, but I'd like to tell his story, because trust me, it's a good one!

You see, those gods existed! All of them, and the intermingled in harmony. Until one day, they don't know... Well, they might have known, but they didn't tell me, because they don't know now (I'll explain) there came the darkness. It was a powerful force, turning men against women, god against god. A few strong gods resisted its power, and sealed it away. They wanted to stop it, kill it once and for all. They couldn't, not with their power.

Then they figured it out! Reincarnation! That ought to do it! You see, the leftover gods thought that, in reincarnation, Their energy would increase due to the new vessels being able to contain more power. Maybe even teach them new tricks! Some did it later than others.

But something went wrong. They got their memories wiped. Some had backup plans. Others did not. My friend did; but we will talk about it later

Let the story begin!

It was another boring school day for Haymich Theosin. He had just returned from school, which he hated, save for History. He had a weird fascination with the gods unit. He felt as if he was one of them, as wierd as it seemed. It seems to be the opposite of how he normally behaved. He was always a person who couldn't stay in one place. He loved to travel, the change of pace, the feeling in his hair, the-

20$ that he just stole from the lunchroom bully.

Dammit.

I mean, sure, the bully had it coming...but theft was wrong... Right?

He felt a rush of energy wave over him. It was sooo good...NO. He shook his head, and continued to walk. He had a bad feeling about today. Not bad...strange

Yina sat on the roof of her school. She had a free hour and that's why she just sat there, enjoying her new book and drinking orange juice. The most students had lessons now. She was really lucky that her teacher didn't show up today. Yina bought her book right before school started and she was really excited about it. She would've started reading after school. But yeah, she has time now. Yina looked to the sky. "No clouds today" She said, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her skin and with a soft breeze in her hair. She closed her eyes and it felt like she was flying. That was a great feeling. But, remembering the book in her hands, she opened her eyes again and started reading the next page.

Haymich came from his free period as well. "One more period..." He muttered. It was his language class, which was his easiest, by far. Most languages were to him. He didn't care, free credits for him, then off to college. He walked up to the 2nd floor, and took his seat.

Noir, being a natural genius, had quite the life...of being by herself.  A few days back, the black haired girl received a phone call to present some of her interesting finds on greek mythology to a certain school.  Although it was indeed a great opportunity, the brunette was on the fritz about it.  On one hand, she could do what she loves, on the other, she'll end up probably scaring and pushing away a crowd of people and once again feel isolated.  It was a conundrum.

Noir sat on the couch, lounging about in her own empty household.  She still had at least a day to decide.

"What should I do?"(I hope you don't mind, but the school I was thinking would be one of yours.  Hopefully things progress enough while I'm gone that I can just jump in to the next day or however days I miss in the RP.)

(It's okay!)

The next period was going to start. Yina put her book in her bag and walked back in the school building. She walked down a few staris and entered her classroom. She ignored the others in her class and went straight to her seat next to the big window. She threw her bag next to her seat and sat down on her chair. She looked through the window and started daydreaming.

Haymich saw Yina enter a couple of minutes before class. They were the only students that seemed to be good at this. 'It was abnormal,' the language teachers said. He looked at Yina to start casual conversation "Yo, you heard about that guest the schools gonna have?"

Yina looked at Haymich "No?" She said. Now she hoped for more information. She stared at him. He looked like a nice guy. Yina never really talked much to him. She never talked to anyone in her class. She always wandered alone in school. She never really needed friends. But maybe it is time to change that...

"Yea, some 'rising star of the historical world!' " he looked at her "She's gonna talk to us about the gods, and new findings." He shrugged "Might be interesting, but not likely..." As much as he liked the subject, the school never got any good visitors. He remembers last year, they spent an hour trying to not fall asleep as a guy talked about rocks for 45 minutes "What do you think?"

"Can be interesting!" Yina said and smiled. "Everything is better than a dude who is talking abou stones!" She laughed when the memories came back to her. She took her papers out of her bag and lays them ob her desk. Then she took a pencile and she started to draw some funny faces.

He eyed the drawings. She was...quite the painter. "So, what are you gonna do after school? I got nothin to do." It was true. The play he was in 'The Odyssey' based on the book was over. Come to think of it, the 'historical genius' was going to present there, right?

"Just going home I think. I bought a new book this morning and I was planning to read it after school." She said. Yina was getting nervous because of this talking. But she didn't show it. She liked the little chat she had with Haymich. But it was still weird for her.

"What's the book?" Haymich asked. The teacher was talking, but Haymich was disinterested. He always did the homework and aced the tests, so what was the point?

"It's a book for girls. Romantic and stuff..." Yina was not really paying attention to the teacher. "Hey, you want to go hang out in the new pub after school?" Yina's face turned red when she asked that. This was the first time she asked someone to do something.

"Sure." He said. He saw her blush. It was...kind of cute. He realized this was the longest coversaition she has had with anyone he had seen.

The school day droned on, until it came to a typical end. He got his stuff, and waited outside for her.

Yina quickly put everything in her bag and ran out of the classroom. Walked down the stairs and ran across the square right before the school. She saw Haymich standing there. Yina greeted him with a quick wave with her hand. Then she headed to the new pub. "So.. How was you weekend?" She asked to Haymich

"Not so good..." He said, taking a drink. "I've been having these dreams..." He stopped. "But the days have been okay. I mostly was at school, doing the last days of tech week for the play. Our last show will be next satudary, so.." He took a drink "How was your weekend?"

Terra was walking through the town heading home as she feared that she would lose control of her powers again. She continue to walk hoping no one doesn't make her lose control.

As he was drinking, he saw a girl stumbling through the streets. "Hold that thought." He told Yina. He went up to the girl (terra), and held her up. "You okay?"

"Get back stay away from me." Terra said frighten that she cause icicles to appear on the ground but not close enough to stab someone.

"Jesus!" He exclaimed, stepping back from the icicles. He shook his head. "Must be sleep debt..." He got closer. "Is someone following you? Do you need anything?"

"Just stay away from me." Terra said already fearing that she is losing control again, and quickly ran off in fear.

Melody was singing softly in the park, watching a small crowd of animals gather. Birds joined in soon, a small concert going.

The girl ignored some stares, then stood. As the animals scattered, a familiar falcon shadow flashed over. She watched it circle. The falcon was her friend, but yet to be named.

Bored, Melody continued down the street. She hated her catholic uniform.

She liked the Japanese schoolgirl ones much more.

He stared as she walked away. That girl was strange. He looked down at the...ice? He just ignored it again, and walked back to the pub to restart his conversation. "You were saying?"

Yina looked annoyed. She drank a bit from her orange juice. "My weekend was fine". She said staring through the window. It was such a beautiful day. She felt the energy floating through her. This sun was amazing. Maybe too amazing... She quickly looked back to Haymich "Any hobbies?" She asked

"None." Haymich said modestly "I'm mostly all over the place.". He looked outside, and looked at Yina. She seemed to be entranced by it...and looked to be in extreme Ecstasy. "How about you?"
