Oh, one thing I didn't mention. Weapons technically can be used defensively. A defensive item like a shield is simply vastly superior. So don't feel like you have to have a defensive item to defend.

Appearance: mousy brown hair, black eyes, pretty thick eyebrows, medium height and build. Wears dark leather armor and a maroon hood with the Red Hawk insignia stitched on it in black. Wears heavy gauntlets of Disian iron.

Weapons: Disian iron claws alight with blackfire, ice spikes conjured from Cania, tentacles grasping from the fumeroles of Minauros, passage through the mazes of Maladomini (short-range teleportation, defensive)

Background: Trained in underworld magic by his uncle, Ferro uses unearthly powers to scour his enemies. He has a little bit of a superiority complex, both for himself and adept arcanists which puts him out of place in his country. It is what allows him to control his abilities, though, and so Ferro tempers it as if it were steel. He took to Wall Patrol as a way to get out of regular society and be with people he knows to be superior to the masses.

Appearance: Avurel is a fairly small man who wears a dark blue vest a black pants under the crimson robe he often wears. His hair is short and black, and his eyes are a dark brown.

Weapons: 1) A small light blue bracelet that, when used, envelops Avurel's right hand in an armored magical-base gauntlet. 2) A small circular disk on his back that can be held, at which point magical energy forms a large shield around it, making an effective defensive item. 3) Boots that slowly charge up power and can be used to suddenly boost Avurel great distances. 4) An elemental dagger that can switch between ice and fire based attacks.

Background: Avurel is truly not incredibly concerned with the issues or claims of either country, but he made a promise to a close friend over a decade before to protect the Red Hawk, and he aims to keep it. He greatly dislikes politics and has no ill will towards the enemies he is pitted against. He accepted duty on the wall as a means to stay away from political machinations while trying to keep the people safe.

Accepted! I guess I didn't mention this before, but it is okay to have a movement power take the place of a weapon, as MDS and I have done. People from the Gold Lion will have to come up with a mechanical means of doing it if they choose a movement power.

As long as you follow the rules for your affililiation, then yes, you may acquire a weapon or spell later on. You can still choose four weapons now. When you acquire a weapon later on, you will have it stored at the wall and be able to swap it out with the weapons you already have. Only four weapons can ever be taken into battle, so you can't carry more than four at a time.

Accepted! As long as the elemental effects are small, the revolver is accepted. As long as the mechanical effects of the baton are small, it is accepted.

Appearance: bald, no eyebrows, grey eyes. Wears a black cowl (kept down) and robes, and a small metal cross on a chain under it all. He carries a holy book with him.

Weapons: a cross-shaped greatsword with a long handle, cross-shaped knives for throwing (ranged), the greatsword shifts into a scythe with a raven-beak shaped blade, the scythe can catapult him through spring action (movement)

Background: Baldr is a traveling mercenary-monk who practices an obscure faith: a savior was crucified on a cross to take away the sins of the world, and his spirit was transferred to the ravens who picked his bones clean to watch over his disciples. Baldr came across these two countries during his travels, and saw all the wicked use of magic the people of the Red Hawk practiced. He allied himself with the Gold Lion to cleanse the other country of decadence.
