Neos Artsy Stuff. Part 2! (The Sokai Edition).

Hi guys!! So as you may know my first thread was based on my favorite pairing..Roxas, and Namine ^_^ It was my first ever artwork that was related to Kingdom Hearts, and I suggest you should check it before you dive into this one. http://kh13.com/forum/topic/58211-neos-artsy-stuff/?do=findComment&comment=1155847

 

So anyways onto the process it self. This artwork was done on (Again) a 22x28 poster, and it was a 2 day process. Because of the way they're pose so differently than the original art of Roxas, and Namine. I was not able to fit in a keyblade, so instead I just added the logo on to it. The poster was also post to mirror original one so it's, Roxas and Sora back to back, protecting their love ones.

 

I also showed comparison shots on my Ipad to show you guys what I used as my reference most of the time.

 

DAY ONE. Afternoon around 12-1pm.

 

It was...FRUSTRATING trying to draw, Sora due to his big hair...But I manage for the most part. It took me about a hour just to get his basic sketch done, and another hour and a half to get a basic outline of, Kairi.

 

 

 

DAY ONE. Around 5-7pm. I had begun adding details within Sora's face, and added in his torso sketch.

 

 

 

DAY ONE. 9-12pm. I had just finished all the sketching, and had finished outlining everything on both Sora, and Kairi so I could have less work to do on Day two.

 

 

 

DAY TWO. Finished outlining, shading, and every detail now all I needed to do was add in the Kingdom hearts logo.

 

 

 

DAY TWO. 8 PM. Finished everything, and I got done editing it on my Ipad.

So there you have it folks, I hope you enjoyed my 2nd piece of artwork. I currently have some ideas for my 3rd Kingdom Hearts artwork...Such as a old and young Riku back to back, but for now I think I need a 2 week break .
