"Right sir." He left the room and hurried back to where he'd left the man standing. "Mr. Yagami has actually asked me to take you to his office, so if you'd follow me, I'll take you there."

"Thank you sir." Watari bowed his head with respect and followed him to Sochiro's office.

And leading the mysterious man, Matsuda headed down the same hallway that he'd just went through just a moment before. He stopped again in front of Sochiro's office. "Here you go. Mr. Yagami is already in there waiting for you." He then quietly opened up the door to the room.

Watari walked in and tipped his hat off to Sochiro and Light and took the seat that was presented to him.

"So... " Sochiro said akwardly, tried to fill in the name.
"Watari, the name is Watari." Watari replied politely.
"Okay, so you say L wants to speak with us?" Sochiro asked and scratched his head, partially in disbelief.
"Yes, he wanted to speak with you now if that is all right." Watari stated as he pulled the breifcase to the desk.
"Um.. now? How? Is he here?" Sochiro asked, puzzled.
"No, I have brought laptops that he will speak to you through, and present data that he has found on the case." Watari answered.
"Oh, allright then." Sochiro replied and coughed to clear his throat.

Watari then placed the breifcase on the desk and started working at the combination. While Light chuckled and thought to himself.

This is it... the moment I see his face... I win.

Watari set the combination to 1-28-12, then popped it open and brought out two laptops and opened them both. He typed in the passwords and on both and then the screens lit up. One with the Old English capitol L, and the other with the Old English lower-case N.

"You may speak now, L." Watari spoke into the mic. he set up with the laptops.

Curses! Foiled again thought Light.

Within a second, an automated voice desguised with a synthesizer sounded from the laptops speakers, "Greetings, members of the NCPO, I am L. As you all know, Kira has been located within the Kanto region of Japan, but what you may or may not have noticed is that he has had access to confidential files held within your computers. This leads me to believe that there is a 85% chance that Kira is, or atleast knows someone within the NCPO.

I also believe that there is a 70% chance that Kira has others working with him, because there are some criminals that die at the same time as others.

I have some charts, and graphs prepared to show you what it is exactly that I'm talking about."

The synthesized voice stopped speaking, and on the computer screen with the gothic L popped up two seperate windows, one a chart with many names and times of death of the criminals. On the other window, was a graph showing the compared times of deaths for each of the ciminals. And there was an undeniable proof that on the graph there were multiple graph lines that overlapped one another.

"The first window is a complete list of all of the victims and the times in which they died. As you can read in this chart you can also see on the graph. I hope that with having seen this, that the NCPO will agree to work with me in bringing Kira to justice."

"And I have taken the liberty to focus on the fact that there is more than one Kira." Near said from the other laptop with his own automated voice.

"Who is this?" Sochiro asked, astonished by the youthful sounding voice.

"I am N... L's apprentice you could say." Near replied, "Now if there are no further questions, I will continue my explanation."

"No... no further questions." Sochiro responded, taken aback by being commanded by the voice.

"Just who is this kid?" Light thought.

"Now as you see here... " Near continued and pulled up three seperate charts on his screen, "these are the three different charts I composed of the data of the different kinds of murders carried out by the three Kira's and as you can see... each one is different. Now this first chart is mainly composed of popular celebrities who have commited crimes, and child mollesters and rapers... The schedule shifted often but there was a pattern every other week, probably following a work schedule, but strangely coincides with the production of several recent television shows. This second chart is completely filled with names of random people who commited random crimes... it is obvious this person has no intention on leaving anyone alive. This third one is the most planned and strategic, at least now it is. Lets take a look back in time towards the begining of the Kira case..."

At the the click of a button, the filled graph started breaking off other graphs and squares filled started to disperse. This continued until it stopped after the first week of the Kira case, where the schedule appeared to stopped at a pattern.

"Does this look familiar to you?" Near asked.

"Hmmm.... if I'm not mistaken, this looks like a college students schedule. Maybe even a high school one." Sochiro said after a minute of thinking.

"I agree...." Light muttered, slightly shaking in his seat.

"Thus, we have deduced this. We believe that Kira is a college student. The second Kira is probably a well known actor or actress... and we have one major suspect, one who has been recently been working with Sakura T.V. The third we are uncertain of."

Damn, these people are good... but no matter, wouldn't hurt to have a little challenge. Light chuckled, and decided to ask a bold question. "So... who's the suspect you have at Sakura T.V?"

As soon as Light had finished his question, L's synthetic voice was heard again, "Our first suspect is the pop star, Misa Misa or maybe you know her better as Misa Amana."

Matsuda gasped, and quickly shook his head, "But, Misa Misa? What proof do you have to back up these accuasations?"

"Well, it is common knowledge that Misa Amane is an open worshipper of Kira."

Matsuda suddenly riled up, "SO I COULD ALSO BE A WORSHIPPER OF KIRA!"

"But you aren't. Please just sit back down, Mr. Matsuda."

[Repliku]

"I have already sent the police in to arrest her and to bring her in for questioning." Near stated, while he twirled his hair on his end, and raised up a dart.

Light slammed his fist on the table and roared in rage.

"You can't arrest her! You have no proof!!! No solid evidence!!!" Light roared.

"Without knowing the Kira's killing method and without being able to scrap up solid evidence, we can't leave any suspicions left alone..." Near stated as he twiddled his hair some more, " And you... Light Yagami... have raised quite a bit of suspicion upon yourself, especially just now."

"Suspicions? What suspicions have I raised upon myself?" Light trembled in anger.

"L has the data on that... care to explain to him L?" Near said as he threw the dart and it hit the bullseye... Got you... Near thought to himself and smiled.

"Based on the conversation that has just happened, I feel confident enough to move on to the main reason for why we are meeting right now.

Light Yagami...There is solid evidence that shows that you and Misa Amane have a relationship.

It is true that you are studying to become a police officer, just like your father, but I'm 90% sure that you feel that the justice that your father believes in, is not the justice that you believe in.

So to conclude this conversation, I say this, I suspect you, Light Yagami, of being Kira."

[Repliku]

Light jumped from his seat, "That's ridiculous! What kind of evidence is that! To suspect me because I'm the pop-star's boyfriend?!"

"There is also the case of Raye Penber to consider." Near said from his laptop, the thudding of darts hitting the dartboard could be heard.

"What? Who is this Raye Penber?" Sochiro asked.

"12 FBI agents sent to Japan in order to follow the suspects of those being Kira at the time. Raye Penber was one of those 12. He was following several families... one of them was yours."

"Well considering he didn't come arrest any of us, he must have thought we were clean." Sochiro stated abruptly.

"That is true he didn't report suspicious of your family... because he thought there was nothing suspicious. But after a week of following Light... he died, along with the rest of the FBI agents. Also, his fianc'ee... Naomi Misora died soon after... suicide, not like her. But knowing that Kira can manipulate how the victim acts, this explains that. And another interesting fact is that... she was last seen with you Light."

Light trembled What? How did they find all this out?! How can deduce so much from so little information?! Just who are these people?!

Near twirled his hair, "Anything you want to add... L?"
