Eight o' clock already. I'm supposed to go to some old town with my friends today. Some high school friends of mine. I was only eleven though, the youngest there, of course. I had barely skipped enough grades to become a freshman where I met everyone else. This was kind of like a dare...to stay a night...at some supposedly haunted town. I knew it wasn't true, though. But, of course...I was still scared. Frightened. I didn't really want to go...but I knew everyone would laugh and tease me again if I didn't go. There was that what if it really IS real factor that must've haunted everyone, more or less.
"Joshua, aren't you going to go with your friends? I'll take you over there." My mom called behind the hallways. "Yeah...but I have to be there by nine. We have an hour." I responded, with a raspy voice as an ominous chill stretched my spine. "It'll be like 8:30 by the time we get there, so let's just go now." She said, perfectly calm, but obviously worried for me at the same time. There were practical adults going to be there, at least. "...Okay." I mumbled. I walked to the car already.

(Jack/Ezekiel)

Jack began to drive himself and a few others (whoever wants to be in the car, three spots left) toward the ghost town he had only read about.

"Almost there guys." He said with a smirk. "Then we get to talk to some ghosts! Hope we all come out ok...." He said, snickering. He took a swig of his bud light can, before rolling down the window and tossing it out.

Ezekiel's mouth dropped in horror. "Wait... ghosts?" He said nervously.

Jack looked through his front mirror to glance at Ezekiel. "Maybe some demons too, if we're lucky."

"I- I- I- you guys told me this was just a party...." Ezekiel tried to speak, stuttering profusely.

Jack reached back and punched Ezekiel playfully in the chest. "We lied. Come on don't be a whimp, it won't be so bad, as long as nothing like the last time we did this happens..."

"Wh-wh-what happened?" Ezekiel asked.

Jack looked down. "Well, let's just say, there's a reason we are going to a different town to do this..."

Jack smiled slightly, enjoying his manipulating and scaring of Ezekiel and the others in the car that believed him.

Mai sat at a window seat in the back of the car, listening to the conversation going on the the car. She frowned at the ridiculousness she was hearing. "Hey could we please not try scaring anyone before someone here wets their pants, especially Ezekiel over there." she said, sounding a bit annoyed. She knew this was going to be a regular night and nothing strange will happen, well at least that's what she thinks. Mai looked out the window with the wind hitting against her face. Why did I tag along again, she thought and sighed

"Guysss! Be quiet! You're freaking me out!" Rin complaint at Ezekiel and the others. 

She was basically latching onto Mai at this point in fright. In a few minutes, Rin stopped clutching onto Mai. She sat up straight, looking at the window. It wasn't so good she was stuck between people. (second person can be anyone guys...just squish Rin )

Rin just drew her jacket closer to her at Mai's open window. She wasn't going to enforce someone to put their window down just because of one person.

Akito stood against the old building. He pulled out his pocket watch. 20:01... "They're late." He mumbled, closing the timekeeper and storing it back in his pocket. He chuckled. "But then again, I'm just early." He began walking down the road where they would be driving in momentarily.

(Whelp.) 

Luke drove his own car, and all-in-all, he was rather good at it. Usually.

He was driving to some 'haunted town' or whatever, and he felt that it was just another hoax--a poor prank that was a feeble attempt to scare someone. Luke knew better than that..but secretly hoped to whatever deity was listening that werewolves took no part. But that thought was quickly fleeting, and he shrugged it off.

"Almost there." He said to himself, slowing the car down before he reached his destination.

Sora was squished into Rin.

Actually, Rin was practically on her lap. And Sora was clutching Rin.

"What she said." Sora said softly, eyes on Ezekial.

Lily sank lower in her seat, crossing her arms grumpily. "I'm going to be late! Why does there have to be traffic now?" Lily was on her way to a supposedly haunted town, where she and some of her highschool friends would be spending the night, why exactly they had to stay there she had no idea. If only Lily's mother hadn't insisted that she take her to a store a ways from her house before dropping her off in the town with her friends there would've been a great chance that she could make it on time, now however, the chances looked beyond slim.

 

Lily grumpily leaned against the window, her eyes never once leaving the cars clock, which for once seemed to be moving exceptionally fast.

We were already on our way. 'We' as in my mother and I. She was just going to drop me off. I looked out the window tiringly as the road passed by. It was nighttime after all, I never really slept too late. By now, I'd be in bed reading with a cup of chocolate milk. Milk was never good by itself, anyway.

Watching the road, my mom broke the silence. "Be sure to sleep by midnight, okay?" "Okay." "And don't do anything crazy!" "Okay." "And be sure to eat! If you don't, you'll grow so skinny you'll disappear!" "Okay!" I laughed a bit, honestly. She was worried. Who wouldn't be? She had a son who's barely eleven years old in high school going to a 'haunted' little abandoned town. "And you don't have any girlfriends, do you? I don't want you to be—" "No, mom, they're all at least four years older than me!" I exclaimed with a sigh. Maybe she was a bit too worried. ...I'd be fine. Right?

"Oh shut up, you guys are such girls." He said, smiling at all the women in the back. "But trust me, if you guys feel scared at all, just cling onto me, I'll protect you." He gave a sloppy grin. "I think we're here, I just past the entry sign."

The car began to slow from highway to city speed limits, which gave everyone time to examine there surroundings....

 

(Ezekiel)

(I didn't plan for it, but looks like Ezekiel is girl trapped, heh heh...)

 

Ezekiel leaned against the car door and looked at the scenery, which began to give him a chill.

"Oh great, a ghost town too? No one here to call for help..." He brought his cellphone even though he was told not to by Jack. He may have fallen for Jack's trick, but Ezekiel wasn't completely stupid. He looked at all the others that came with him.

(Now would be a good chance to make friends...) He thought to himself. (Unless I have a bipolar episode, that would ruin my chances with making friends with them at all, better to stay quiet and wait this one out. I mean I'm sure once we get comfortable with each other everything will be fine, right?) Ezekiel said that to himself more so to convince himself.

Sora clung to Rin more.

"I'm more comfortable clinging to Rin." She stated.

As Sora was pretty bisexual eith a preference for her gender, it was normal for her to shoot down boys like that.

Never could find the right one.

Mai ignored Jack's comment and noticed the scenery outside. The grimace in her face faded away and she started to look intrigued. Woah, this place looks more interesting than i thought it would be, she thought as her eyes drifted around the outside. Mai heard Ezekiel say something and she replied without looking at him, "it's only a simple town. It's not like you would need to call for help anyways."

Charlie sat on the bed of his pick-up, plucking out a few chords. He had parked just inside the town, and was now just waiting for everyone else. Besides Akito, he was the only one there so far. Charlie smiled as one of his favorite songs came in over his radio. He began to play along. Despite staying the night in a ghost town, the musician was relaxed. He doubted anything would happen besides some of the girls getting scared. Maybe that young kid, Joshua. Besides that though, it'd just be another night. He kept this opinion even though a creepy aura still emanated from the little town.

Sora nudged Rin.

"Was this a good idea?" She asked her friend, still clinging.

"No it wasn't! I should have never came along with you guys..." Rin complaint.

There was a couple of minuets that there was silence until Rin started thrashing around.

"Soraa! Get off me!" she complaint.

(Jack)

"Alright, we're here." Jack began, slowing his car outside an abandoned hotel. "I was going to have this at the cemetery, but with so many people going, I changed the meeting place to this hotel." Jack pointed to the hospital across the street. "Word has it something happened at this hospital that is the cause for everyone leaving." Honestly Jack had no idea whether that rumor was true or not, but he was looking for every opportunity to frighten his guests.

(Just the usual routine) He thought to himself. (Scare the hell out of some suckers by faking the ouiji board reading, and then get the hell out of here.)

Jack got out of his car, took his bag out of the trunk and headed towards the hotel. He was prepared to break the front door of the hotel down, but was surprised to find it was already unlocked.

He pretended to know it was unlocked and held the door open. "Shall we?" He smiled slyly, winking at Rin and Sora.

 

(Ezekiel)

Ezekiel got out of the car and spun around looking at the surroundings.

"Try to make friends, and it's with people into some weird crap." He muttered, turning to the hotel. He rolled his eyes at Jack and looked to Rin and Sora.

"I honestly don't know what's worse, in there, or out here." He joked, trying to make small talk.

I finally arrived. It was rather dark, but I could see Akito standing casually as if he was in just any old place. He seemed calm, so I guess that's calming in itself. When the person next to you is in terror as well is when you get even more scared. "Have fun~" My mother said nonchalantly when she dropped me off. I took my food I'd eat later on when I got hungry, just in a paper bag. Before I left, I checked the digital clock on the radio of the car: 8:27 already. "Okay. Bye." I told my mom. Making sure I had my cell phone in my pocket, I jumped out the car as she left, walking to Akito. "Where's everyone else? I'm sure someone else is here by now...."

Sora let go.

"But I'm scared! And they had to talk me into this, too!" She complained right back.

 

As they all piled out, she frowned at Jack.

"I'm not going into some creepy hotel!" She said. "Right, Rin?"

She then glanced at Ezekiel. "It is worse everywhere."

Rin looked at Sora, then Jack....then Ezekiel.

"Sora. What if this is the only place we can find?" she questioned, looking up at the rather eerie looking building.

Faith laughed at Jake from with in the room. "Hey Jack-oss,here to scare some shorties? Well,do it faith-fully,for ghosts are fake. By the way I picked the lock. So,fun right. I hate punks like you,just skip the intro. I'm Faith. Faith S. Dream, most call me F S. So call me that." She laughed some more.

"So,make this fun~" She smirked.

Luke pulled up in his car, peering out of the window to see who had already gathered.

Quickly exiting the vehicle, Faith was the first person he spotted first. At least, Faith was the person he knew the best. "Hey!" Lucas called out, quickening his pace a bit to shorten the time to get there.

"Hey." He said again, once he was of closer range to Faith and the others.

Sora looked at her incredolously.

"You're suppose to be on my side!"

Sora whimpered fearfully, the eerie town not really helping her.

Lily was able to breath a sigh of relief when she and her mother reached their destination, the haunted, or not so haunted town. She was quite surprised that she actually wasn't late, meaning she'd gotten all worked up over nothing. Lily scanned the area, her expression growing worried. This town really is creepy, Lily thought to herself. She then spotted two of the people she knew from school across the way from her, she almost hadn't noticed them. Saying a quick 'bye' to her mother she hurried over to them. "Hey Akito! Joshua! What's up?" Lily called.

I turned my head over a bit to see another car coming in and dropping off someone before leaving. "Huh? Oh, hey, Lily! Are we the only three here so far...?" I asked her. Back where the hotel was, the lights from Jack's car gleamed over but I was too small in stature to see past the buildings right in front of us from this distance. "Oh, well. I guess we'll have to wait a bit...." I mumbled. The stars and moon above us were actually quite bright. The lights weren't on in this town, after all, so there was nothing to drown them out.
