I woke up in the streets of Shibuya. My head was pounding. How did I get here? I wondered to myself. I went back over everything that had happened. Today was my fifteenth birthday. I was going to Mr. Hanekoma's coffee shop. What next, though? The people around me were talking. Laughing. Making noise. I slipped my headphones over my ears and turned up my music to drown them out, and continued thinking. Suddenly, I remembered my encounter with that strange man who called himself the Conductor. "Hikari Sakuraba, you are dead." he told me. How did I die? I couldn't remember. He told me I was in the Reaper's Games. What are the Reaper's Games anyway? Those questions raced through my head, then I remembered something else he'd told me. I needed a partner. I looked around frantically, trying to find anyone to team up with. I got the feeling that this could mean life or death. "Hey, does anyone want to partner up!?" I shouted out loud, hoping someone would respond. I realized that if I was dead, only other players could probably see me. I needed to find one before it was too late...

Coden:  Moaning, I got up and stretched around.  I looked to see people walking right through me, like I wasn't there.  Scratching my head, I think:  What's going on here?  How come some people aren't seeing me?  I then had a flashblack to when I died in a shootout between cops and criminals, and meeting a covered up person with wings.  I then thought:  Oh.  That's right.  I'm in the Reapers Game.  I have to "play" this to save my brother Zeif.  I looked around, wondering what to do next.

Shera:  Out in a hidden factory, I was welding some metal parts together for my cyborg pets.  Doing the usual more like it.  I started hearing my time alarm going off.  I turned to my monitors that had views on every location in Shibuya.  I walked up to them and thought:  Hm, looks like this weeks' players are here.  I should get a better look.  I climbed up a case of ladders(?) that went to the roof and started jumping over multiple ones' to where all the players were.

"Hello I-" I was trying to get somebodies attention but no one would listen they just kept on walking on whay arent they paying attention? I tried to grab onto someones shoulder but went right threw them Whats going on? Why can't they see me?

I thought back Oh thats why I had died... I shook my head and heared somebody yell out does anyone want to partner up I just shrugged Its probably nothing

They woke up in an ally. A young boy, and a similar looking girl. The boy sat up. "Where am... Oh yeah. I lost her. Then again, was there anyone to lose? Whatever." He looked around. Lying on the ground he saw her. "****!” His lips moved but the sound didn't come out. "What's going on? I can't say her name."

The girl sat up and faced her brother. "What's going on, *******? Wh- Why can't I say your name?!"

"I dunno..." He replied. "But remember those aliases we used? Let's try those. Okay... Syxac?"

She nodded. "Okay, Nexomarc."

They stood. "I think we should get a look around." Nexomarc said.

With that, they began to explore the streets.

I kept looking around for a partner, but eventually lost hope in finding one. Just then, I noticed a girl about my age, who seemed confused also. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try... I thought to myself, and ran over to her. "Are you in the Games? I need a partner! Please, answer me!" I shouted desperately, hoping she would reply.

I slowly opened my eyes. My eyes were tired. As if I woke up of a deep slumber. I started to getting up of the floor. I took a look around, yauning a little, I slapped myself to wake up. That´s when I noticed.

"Where am I? The Scramble Crossing? How did I get here?"

I was surprised, but not worry as much...

"Mmmm had I lost conciousness? Mmmm..." Then I decided to ask someone. I saw a man standing on the corner near the street to the underground station. I walked near him and then....

"Hey... Excuse me..." But he didn´t notice me.  I tried to another one and nothing...

"No one can see me? No one can hear me? Just what the hell is going on?!!"

That´s when I remembered....

"Welcome to the Reaper´s Game..."

"The game!!" That´s when I remembered what happened... and what I needed to do now. That was what I was about to do, just when those hell creatures began to spam from nowhere.

"what are these things!!?" Hey... get away... calm down... "

Then those one began to ran at me. So obviously I started to ran to. Then I remembered something else... "Partner"

"Yes! I need a partner... " Said this I began to shout as I ran across the street " HEeeeeeeeeey!! Someone need a partner!!?"

Rei's eyes shot open, one word layed on her lips.

"Sorry, Hinata..." Rei barely mumbled her youngest sisters name.

However, she wasn't sucked into the darkness she had expected.

"What happened?" She stared at the dazed looking sky, buildings lined up half everywhere.

Rei leaned herself up on a building behind her. There was something wrong. Rei blinked. There was still no vision in her left eye.

"What the hell?" She asked herself, cursing at the vision in her eye gone.

She turned, more people were here, a couple were already awake. Rei hid her left eye with some of her black hair, loosening her bow.

'Partners?' she thought.

I woke up and opened my eyes, seeing people walking around me. I shook my head, standing up and looking around. I noticed my sister wasent with me. where had she gone? I wondered. she was with me a few moments ago... I looked around again. "L-Locket...?" I called, but with no answer. I sighed. I started to walk away, not knowing where I was.

Coden:  With my arms behind my head, I start walking to the middle of the Scramble Crossing.  Rubbing my head, I think:  Someone mentioned something about partners right?  That doesn't really suit well with me.  I'm better doing things by myself.  Before I could think more on the subject, some strange frog-like things coming out of nowhere.  Curious, I thought:  Hm.  These must be the "Noise" I've been told.  Without something, I could be in trouble here.  Hold on...  I reach into my right pocket and pulled out what looked like three pins:  one with a skull, one with a piece of terra or ground, and another I don't know how to describe.  I put out the Earth pin in front of me at a few Noise.  I concentrated and rocky spikes came up, piercing the monsters, and came back down.  Fliping it like a coin, I thought:  This ought to be good.

Shera:  After some jumps I made it to where all the players were located.  Making sure I wasn't spotted, I looked down and thought:  Alright, here they are.  Quite an interesting bunch to say the least.  I looked around and saw a guy in all grey fighting some Noise.  Smirking and holding my chin, I think:  Well, what do we have here?

Joshua slowly awoke. He rubbed his head— it ached, bellowing with pain. "Nngh, where am I?" He asked himself, mumbling quietly. His expression turned sour, remembering his agonizing death. His death that was in a dream, maybe? The pain stuck with him, regardlessly. The voices of the past echoed and whispered throughout his head— submerging him back into the depths of his sadistic side of his own mind– where he remembered everything. The melancholia stayed in that part of his mind, whereas the happiness was sent to naught, gone— in oblivion of the mind. He slumped back down, against the wall, gripping onto his head tightly as his shaggy hair matted over him and he heard everything that made him feel grief and misery. "Make it all stop...make it stop....." he repeated several times to himself, nearling cradling and rocking himself as he attempted to alter his state of mind and train of thought. "I shouldn't be here...I shouldn't be anywhere...." "Welcome to the Reapers' Game." A vpice ringed through his head just as he felt a feeling of hopelessness. Joshua had failed at being "normal" in his lifetime...he failed at living a peaceful life...he failed at having a family to look up to...he failed at living alone...he failed at life...! And now...what? He even failed at dying. Now he was here, feeling alive, wherever this was. ....Shibuya.

Alexander soon woke as well. The sun pierced through his single exposed eye, as his other eye was completely shrouded in the darkness of his long dark-brown hair. He squinted with his eyes as the sun didn't let him see very clearly, him soon standing up and looking around. "Aren't I dead...? This doesn't seem right." He said to hinself. After a short examination of the area, a person was seen walking straight to him. Before realizing and reacting, the person walked straight through Alexander. "Hm?" "Welcome to the Reapers' Game." A voice echoed through Alexander's head. "Tch. People make so much instinct and lousy...noise." He responded quietly yet nonchalantly to the situation— oblivious to it, actually. He put on his earphones, they weren't anything nice, they were actually pretty tacky. Just the wires and the ear buds, rather than a full set of huge headphones that made it a stereo in your ears where people around you can still make out the sound. Nope. The sound was all to Alexander's self, but not as loud. He scrolled through a bunch of music, looking for anything, really. Just to block out the noise.

I turned around to a girl that was begging to be her partner "Haha! Thats pathetic right there" I put my hand to my fore head, sighing and shaking my head to how deperate this girl was "Yes I am in the games" I thought about it for a minute "And yes you'll be my partner"

I studied this other girl. She seemed way too cocky, and I was already slightly annoyed by the way she was acting. I've gotta trust her... I need to survive this. It can't be too bad though, right? I put on a smile and replied to her. "Alright!" A light seemed to surround us for a second, and I'd remembered what the Conductor had told me about pacts. Guess that means the partnership's complete, I thought to myself, and realized there was still an important question I had to ask her. "Now then, since you're my partner, I'll need to know your name. I'm Hikari Sakuraba. And you are?"

I put my hands in the pocket "My name Is KayKay Kiyru, but you can just call me Kay" Wait did she just say Sakuraba? "Are you by any chance related to someone named, uhm, uh" I had to think for a bit his name was on the tip of my tongue... Oh yes I know his name now! "Neku Sakuraba?"

"Huh? Yeah, he's my dad... Do you know him?" I didn't understand how she knew my father. I didn't recognize her at all. Then I realized, her last name is Kiyru... "You're related to Joshua Kiyru, aren't you? My father told me that they worked together for something..." I stopped there, realizing I didn't know what it was.

(Alright, just going to wait on a few more people to start posting, then I'll give the first mission.)

As Zetsu flying around in Shibuya,he saw many other players below and he land on the building to watch their activities from afar."Never thought they have been partnered up so fast....well,not my interest,anyway....since i hate companions around me....but if it's for the mission,i don't have a choice now,do i?"Zetsu said as he keep watching the players actions...

She was so nervous. No voice, no courage, no hope. Her life was such a Clitche, heh her own name focused her life. Partner. That was her only hope now, without a voice it'd be better to get one now. Gazing upward, the white cat hat blocking her eyes from the others, as she noticed someone on the building. They'd be absolutely perfect for her. Strong and hopefully a good thinker for her sake.

I sighed "I only asked if he was your dad not all that"

I crossed my arms "and yes Joshua is my dad"

I noticed that she stopped "Working for what? Nevermind that" Ieaned on the wall looking around

FINEArai woke in an alleyway of Shibuya, confused. She yawned, not so gracefully, and stood up. "What did I do? Oh right, I died." Arai muttered to herself, walking now into the street. People were all around her, but paid her no mind. Side effect of being dead. Arai knew she had to win, to get life back, save her family. She had to play the reaper's game, and survive. Not too difficult right? Arai sighed, and began down the sidewalk. Partner. She needed to find a partner if she wanted to win this game.

Ray woke up. "Where am I? This isn't Aincrad... Did I die? Is this where we go? To watch the lifting forever...?" Ray stood up, looking among the croud who he just phased through. "Hello!? Is anyone able to hear me!?" No responce. He wandered for a while till he bumped into a girl with red hair and a black jacket. "Sorry miss. Wait... I... I ran into you... Dose that mean that you're dead, too?"

(Alright, mission time guys)

I sat down against the wall and sighed. This is gonna be a long game... I thought to myself. Just then, my phone pinged, like I'd gotten a text message. "Who texts a dead person...?" I asked myself, and pulled out my phone. "'Go to 104. You have one hour. Fail and face erasure. -The Reapers.'" I read out loud. "What is this, some sort of prank?" Then I remembered; this is the Reaper's Games. "Or maybe it's our goal..." Just then, I felt a sharp pain in the palm of my hand. I looked down at it to see what had happened, and noticed a timer was engraved onto my hand, slowly ticking down to 00:00. "Well, we should go." I told Kay, and stood up.

Rei stood up, slipping her small black cellphone out of her dress pocket.

-Go to 104. You have one hour.-

104?! What or where is that..? She looked around, people were starting to partner up with others. Rei might as well partner up too. She started looking around, finding a boy about her age listening to music. Instead of being extremely rude and ripping the headphones out of Alexander's ears, she held up the text message she got from these 'Reapers' and at the bottom a message.

-Go to 104. You have one hour. Fail and face erasure. –The Reapers- and below her message.

-People are partnering up. Since I don't have a partner, we might as well be partners since you don't have one either. We have about 55 minutes left.-

Rei showed him.

My phone went off I already know what it was about but I checked it anyway

~Go to 104. You have on hour, Fail and face erasure-The Repears~

I looked up at my partner and nodded in agreement "Yea, lets go" I stood up aswell and started walking

-People are partnering up. Since I don't have a partner, I we might as well be partners because you don't have one either. We have about 55 minutes left.-

Alexander read the message. Before responding at all, he glanced slightly upwards at Rei's phone to the other message.

-Go to 104. You have one hour. Fail and face erasure. -The Reapers-

Alexander silently pulled out his own phone which he had ignored not long before. A notification icon was at the top left corner of the screen as Alexander pressed through the arrow keys to get to the notifications titled MESSAGES. He clicked it and found a single one.

-Go to 104. You have one hour. Fail and face erasure. -The Reapers-

Same message. Alexander plucked out.his earpieces amd stuffed them and the wire into his left pocket, flicking the long side of his hair back to let it looser after the wire of the earphones has barricaded it from going back.

Alexander smiled very faintly and softly, hardly noticeable of a change. "Alright. I'll be your partner. But what's 104?" He asked Rei, even before asking her name or anything. Alexander's vision shifted to his surroundings, yeah, there were other people here— partnering up after death. Some were still alone, though.
