Final Fantasy: A Road to Glory (RP Sign-ups/Discussion)

The Elder Tree. It has been a fable in every town and land-- including yours. A massive tree that rises above the clouds, and rests on the tallest mountain. Many call it a myth, as no one has ever reached the top of the mountain that is said to hold this tree.

Of course, many have tried to reach the top. No one has returned alive.

But what would make such a tree so interesting, besides the bragging rights? It is what is called the Grand Fig. A golden fruit that when split into five parts, grants one wish per part.

 

  This fruit, this Grand Fig, has spurred generations of adventurers to search for it. This is where you come in. You and three others have come together to search for this fruit, and grant your wish.

 

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING.

This RP features a different battle system than most other Roleplays, and is explained here:

 

Battle System:

 

A battle will start on a roll decided by myself, and will split into two phases (Much like in the actual games) Player, and then the Enemy phase.

In the Player phase, all players will state their actions, and once all five people have made their actions are clear, rolls will be made based on their stats. This will be taken account during the enemy phase, where the outcomes of the player's actions are stated, and enemy movements are told.

 

Also, after every enemy that is defeated, the person who destroyed it will gain a set amount of , and will eventually level up. Leveling grants more abilities and higher stats.

1. Follow all KH13 forum/RP rules.

2. You must be able to respond often. I do not want this to die so quickly.

3. Your post must be at least three sentences. I can understand having to go under that from time to time, but that cannot be constant.

How stats and rolls will work:

 

Everything is decided upon dice rolls, and your stats will be taken in effect. For example, let's say you attack an enemy, and you roll a 5. Let's say your Strength is 2, so then your roll is a 7. But yet, your enemies' Defense is 2, so then your attack equals a 5, or a successful, yet not super-powerful attack. (If you need more explanation, speak to me about it.)

 

Strength: How hard you hit.

Magic: How hard your magic hits, and how successful your casting it.

Defense: Resistance against physical attacks.

Resistance: Resistance against magical attacks.

Speed: How quick you can evade.

Stamina: How often you can attack in a row, and how often you can use abilities.

Luck: Enemy encounter and crit rolls.

 

You will start with 8 points to put into your stats, and you start with 0 for all stats. (You can take away from that zero, to add more points to spend in other stats.)

Her parent's, having no male child, gave up Assyria. Assyria was trained as a warrior even though girl's were not supposed tok be. The training captain respected her parent's wishes and pretended like she was a boy. This worked fine until the monarch of the military state came for an inspection. He rooted her out, and exiled. Still wishing to bring glory to her name, Assuria traveled for the Grand Fig.

Alrighty! Your class is the Soldier!

 

A heavy hitter, the soldier is quick and used to wearing heavy armor, but that armor is very susceptible to magical attacks.

Abilities:

Fake Out- Trick an enemy with a false move, allowing you to take them from behind. (In a roll, this would increase your Speed when evading an attack.)

Clean Hit- A quick, clean slash to an enemy. Deals twice the usual damage. (In other words, in an attack roll it would double the roll you get.)

This is my magic based character after all. Fire Emblem: Awakening is getting me a little more focused on magic and away from swords.

Your class is the Dragoon! A patient, quick fighter, your class grows to bit more nimble than other classes, and does decent damage against enemies.

Abilities:

Jump- Jump into the air to crash down upon your foe. Makes most attacks against you miss.

Kick- Do a side-sweep with both your leg and weapon. Attacks multiple enemies at once.

 

Starting weapon: Spear

Here's my character:

 

Name: Silver Excedrin

 

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Appearance:

 

Personality: Ignoring his rather grim appearance, Silver is probably the friendliest seventeen-year-old out there. Cocky and arrogant, he generally leaps into battles before thinking about anything. Of course, if you ever get on his bad side, you can experience the darker half of his personality.

Bio: He claims to have been raised by one of the elemental dragons, which is supported by the dragon marking on his left arm, and the fact that one of his eyes is green, with the other red. A trait common among those who were supposedly trained by dragon-kin. At some point later in his live did he come in contact with a Dark Crystal-- a magical crystal of pure darkness made to balance out the ones of Light. This is what created his split personality, and gave him the darker half that he rarely shows.

My class is the Black Mage. A master of offensive magic, the Black Mage is known for being able to cast the most destructive of magics, and command the elements themselves.

Fire: Basic flame spell. (Does extra damage against ice-based enemies, but less of water ones.)

Posion: Poisons a single foe, and can also relieve teammates of the infliction. (Reduces enemy HP over time.)

 

Weapon: Gnarled stick
