χ Union Thread- Blue Bears

This is the thread for just gathering people who will be joining the Blue Bears Union on KHχ. Here, you'll be able to discuss with your team mates about your current results, victories, LUX stack for the day,celebrate team victories, and of course, help with the KH13 χ-Blade Wars! Also feel free to share strategies and show off your decks, Keyblades, and characters. Don't forget to invite members of your group to fight raid bosses with you as well! Feel free to post here if you are planning on joining this Union! If you are changing Unions, please tell me via PM. Please don't be on two Unions at once!

 

IT IS OKAY FOR MEMBERS OF OTHER UNIONS TO LOOK AT THIS THREAD AND POST! However, let's avoid group wars! This game is about collaboration and competition, but please don't target other team members!

Hey, Blue Bears! To give some life to the X-blade Wars game, what would you do with the power of the χ-blade ? Each Union has to agree on a goal, but it can't be the same as the others.

I would use the χ-Blade  to banish the darkness from the worlds, but although I could not take the darkness out of people's hearts, so I would just have to keep fighting for what I had believed for, and gather the LUX to try to free all of the darkness.

No we weren't, I posted it on a sunday, the week didn't start yet for this week.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but it was starting this week... The results will be up later today and I guess since the red Unicorns had the most member uploads, they'll probably get this week's win.

True they have the most user uploads, but 6 different users members on the first post posted since last Friday, and 2 more that tried to join with their usernames since last Friday. Though the foxes have 5, so and only one upload. So far I think the Cobras are the best off since they only had two people post with in the last week that have their usernames known. (note I called ingame names usernames in this post)

You still have to count yourself to double check I got the numbers right. (edit because it is dependent on how many users that are part of the union that posted that week, and not how many posted that week.)

This doesn't work, normally you would take the average, but you can't do that without the same amount of people, this makes it just as unfair as on KH Chi (the team with the most active people wins)

Note there has been a huge edit:Actually taking averages only makes it so the overall quality of those active in the union, instead of the quantity of those active in the union. If anything averages help make it so the team with the most members auto wins. And how is the team with the most active members winning unfair? Tell me, it is a competition? What isn't fair is the sandbags on each team, the users who don't care to post lux totals, they weigh down each active person and make their contribution lesser. It is actually a punishment for having users that don't care about the competition in your Union. Though in theory if the one's don't care will stop posting and then the union with few active members actually stands a chance against the users with a lot of members.  For it is percentage of active users that maters not quantity of them when dealing with averages. So, it is the fairest route. (since the team that tries the hardest should win, instead of those with just the most members)

And the average thing effects all teams negatively, for it was what was posted in the rules last week that the average lux from EVERYONE who in their union that posted that week. (Even if they DIDN'T post their lux.)For the Unicorns I would have to say at least half their members posted their lux (if kinode accepts the two members that applied with their IGNs within the last week), for the Cobras half as well, for the Foxes one fifth of their members, and for the other unions miscommunication or lack of apathy caused them not to post...(Note: I only counted people that actually had given their IGN at onepoint.)Edit: So, if you would suggest for the average to be outof the top 3 that posted their lux, the unicorns instantly win since 2ndand 3rd are blank for all other teams.(aka giving them a much higherlux than everyone else before dividing by 3) How do you do it to make itfair? Even though that would go for the same amount of users, and basing it only off the top user in an union doesn't help much either. In other words unless you had equal teams with everyone caring it isn't fair, and since this was made on a forum with out that averages are the fairest thing possible.

Uhm, you kinda restated a lot of what I was implying., and let me reformulate, it is fair, just unbalanced

 

Also not saying there's a different way haha, just saying it doesn't really work without the same amount of people.

You basically stated that averages only work if you are taking them with the same amount of people. Which actually would make an average useless. If there are the same amount of people the team with the higher total will always win. And part of the purpose of the post was saying that with the rules stating that each union's users that posted in their thread that week are counted does make the point that "active" users don't matter as much as % of users active. Though if you didn't have the rule of all union members that posted in place, the union would just post whom ever got the most lux each week to avoid lowering it.

Ah okay, to tell the truth I didn't pay too much attention to the xblade war haha, but okay.
