ABOUT

When darkness
stretches to the far corners of the planet, who will be there to take

it out? When light is nearly impossible to find, who will look for it? On a

world where a legend comes real right before everyone’s eyes, will you save it?

LEGEND

In this world there a
five light houses; light house of the North, the South, the East,

the West and the Core. These light houses fill our world with radiance and

fights away the darkness. But soon a dark cloud will rise and the light houses

will begin to shut off one by one. When this happens a key will be found; a key

to turn on the light houses.

SETTING

Semi-Modern technology (guns, swords, gunblades, spears, arrows, knives, etc.), magic, no big cities,

OUTLINE

You’ll start where
ever you wish but people must begin to group together at least by

page 3-5. No one may know where the key is or who will have it or even what it

may look like; just simply that it is. Once everyone is together and has formed

a party, we will head out in search of a way to turn the lighthouses back on

and the key of legend. At this time we will be confronted by the person who has

caused the light houses to turn off in the first place.

I actually want to make a sequel!!!

A dark cloud grew and grew of the western isles by the Terrea
Lighthouse; covering Esperanza Town, Rising Hills and Othello, anywhere nearby
was able to see the gigantic cloud in the sky. This cloud has been hovering for
a few days and then out of nowhere… the Lighthouse went out; creatures of pure
darkness began to rise and attack people for no reason as if they had no
control, just doing it for fun. They came in many different shapes and sizes
but none have been to big ……yet!

The cloud seems like its heading here” An old man in Rose Town began.

“I wonder what this means… you don’t think that-“Another man responded
but was cut off by an elderly woman.

“Shhhhh!!!! Don’t even think of that! If it went out we would be in
grave danger!” She forewarned.

It was almost night time... a long corridor illuminated by a pale green glow, that was the base of the Aerum Lighthouse, one of the legendary five existing on the world. On that corridor someone was running with sort of a hurry....  a young lady dressed in green clothes just like her hair. Her look, a worry one.. was without a doubt of certaing light from the west... fading away. she reached the inside of the lighthouse basement. Here a sort of Hall for praying was made of, with a green structure like crystal in middle, with that pale green glow on it... Looking at it an old man, covered in robes and with a staff in hand. The girl came close to him.. then:

???: Priest Gustaff, The lighthouse of the West!! ... the light is...

Priest: Gone...  I also feel it.... darkness... darkness glowing from that direction...Terrea Lighthouse and their keepers are in danger...

???: You mean Esperanza Town?

Priest: I fear for the worse.... what this calamity means?

???: We should take a look here, just in case....

Priest: Sister Ciel.... Please calm down...

Ciel: But...

Priest: we need to see what comes from this.. for now, I´ll send a warning to Filthel... you should go home too... it´s late now....

Ciel: ....

The wind was blowing between the trees... a clear sky covered by stars... a nice night to travel... but then the wind changed....

Al: The wind....something´s wrong...

then he ran towars a near hill.. there he looked around... just for his surprise....

Al: Mmm one of the lighthouses... What happened....

Yukari stood in the field of her new families property. She had an empty bucket of what was horse feed in her hand. A gentle breeze blew in the warm spring heat. The sun was beginning to set over the horizon, leaving her and her two new 'brothers' in the haze of the spring evening. A stronger breeze blew, almost knocking her and her smaller brother off their feet.

'Gosh...why is it so windy...oh wait...it always is...' Yukari gave a giggle to amuse herself.

"Hey! Come on, lets go back to the house." she said before starting to walk back.

Karu and Keru were the two twin little brothers names. Both brown headed and brown eyed. Yukari knew this wasn't her place. She should be in the city, having fun and being free. Before she left inside, she gazed at the dark gloom in the sky, her attitude slightly changeing.

"Your late Yuka." her mother called.

"Dont call me that. I would like to stay outside some where I can think..." she snapped, setting the bucket down in the cabin-like building.

"Good night Yuka!" the two twins teased.

Yukari growled under her breath and walked into the very small room that contained a bed that seemed to be embeded into the wall, however it was not.

She sighed, changing into a tank top and some shorts.

"Good night..." she mumbled under her breath to herself, climbing into her small bed she turned to the wall, quietly tapping her finger on the wood and slightly humming very quietly. Ya right...Yukari wasn't going to bed anytime soon.

Melissa Yzrodon looked off into the distance, staring at the Valley of Echo, but it was just uninhabited, or so it appeared from her view far away. She turned to the water below, and listened to the crashing of waves. "I wonder if Jordan is still alive," she murmured. "Get over it! You might as well kill him!" her other side of her mind replied. Melissa tended to talk to herself. "Shut up! I know that the incident has--is controlling me! Oh, I'm doing it again! I'm talking to myself!" Melissa unstrapped her gun-blade and held it to the sun, the beams shining the blade into a pure light stream. Melissa threw the gun-blade to the ground, and the light dashed off toward Rose Town, quicker than quick. "Light...Darkness...Either could easily win, though the darkness does have an unfair advantage...This town is mine after all. If not, my new home, then." Melissa stared up at the dark cloud looming over her and grower ever larger.A beam of light startled Jordan Yzrodon as he closed the door. He spotted the light, and ducked. It hit him, but it was harmless. "A signal...MELISSA IS STILL OUT THERE!" He cheered. An old man hushed him. "Oops. Hehe. Sorry!" Jordan then noticed the large cloud about...well, a long ways away. "What is that?!" he asked himself. "This calls for investigating! Mom! Dad! Bye!" Jordan called, not even telling his parents where he was going, like they could hear him with the door closed, much less he was even leaving, only to be stopped by a teen. "Hold up!" The teen said. He was in a black cloak. "No leaving here. You are too young!" "Who cares, Mr. Hatsa? Freedom!" "Weird kid. I suppose he'll be running back here in no time."

(A sequel could work with a new villain I guess.)

(A new sequel could work with Dante as the main villain muahahaha)Joshua sat within a dark isolated spot of Rose Town. Despite being on his own, his clothes were actually quite clean, with his formal and innocent nature. "The people are kind of rowdy for once, today. It's a bit annoying...." Joshua said to himself, brushing the fur of a stray cat that rested near him. Looking up to the usually bright sky, it grew mildly dark and cloudy. (Is it going to rain...?) Joshua thought as he looked up to the sky and walked over into a garden full of flowers, and not just roses. Picking up an ungrown and unknown flower in the small garden, he let it grow and bloom in his frail hands for about a minute. It was a syringa flower-- which, in the language of flowers, dignified youthfull innocence, quite fittingly. Rose Town was rather small, and most especially in a nice spot like this garden, the sky could be seen clearly without any buildings blocking the view. (That cloud's from the northwest. Isn't that the direction of the Terrea Lighthouse...?) Joshua thought curiously, setting down the syringa flower he had bloomed into life."That in which follows those whom dwell in the light, is but mere shells of darkness born from the shadow, that all grow along with the world's brilliant radiance. Within every radiance lies a shadow of opposing darkness that grows even greater as it approaches the magnificent light. The same is true in opposition, however, as the darkness contains shreds of light, that grow brighter when nearing the everlasting abyss...." Dante spoke aloud to several 'cardinals' if you will. The core Sanctum Lighthouse was now a cathedral with radiant and religious decorations and light. From the peak of the lighthouse held Dante, with golden designs of angels, priests, etc, all showered with the sun-shaped light that spread throughout the entire room. "....So do not worry, followers of God. What went on at the Terrea Lighthouse was all but normal. As darkness grows, so too will the light." Cherry blossom trees littered the room, each providing a comforting feeling of tranquility. "It has been splendid teaching you. Feel free to spread the cause." Dante said mysteriously to his followers as they departed. After their departure, white and black petals of feathers sprung through the room as Dante revealed his wings in comfort. "....The human heart...is no different." Dante's white and black wings silently and elegantly flapped in the open room. "The time has come for the preparations of my plan to bear fruit." Dante said, before peacefully eating an apple.

At Terrea Lighthouse,Xei was examine at the top."Hmm...i wonder who has it?...."Xei said as he begins to leave. As he leaving the Lighthouse and headed to the Esperanza Town,he suddenly wears another clothes and wear a hood to prevent from being caught since he was one of the most wanted criminal of all the land."I think i gotta go for the bar....after all the people that guards the Lighthouse i've been killed..."Xei said as he headed to the bar...

Sikota shivered. Some thing wasn't right. He turned to the next oldest of the group. "Link, you're in charge until I get back." He nodded. With that Sikota ran towards Lirium cave. Along the lake, he was greeted by a familiar voice.

"Well, well, well, look who it is."

Sikota turned. "Kidare! Where have you been! We were all worried sick."

Kidare smiled. "Well you can stop worrying." He threw a punch, launching a sonic blast at Sikota.

Using power over wind, Sikota displaced the blast around him and launched the cords from his glove at Kidare; who deftly caught them and pulled Sikota over.

"There's a darkness coming, and it isn't fit those with light hearts like yours." He threw a sonic punch right into Sikota, launching him into the lake.

(I know nobody's nearby so I'll probably have to come up with some miracle but... A rescue would be nice.)

(I guess the first second post?)Jordan ran back to town, screaming. "Too much darkness!" he called. He hurried to his house and closed the door. His mother and father were inside, having tea. "What's wrong, Jordan?" his mother asked. "Remember Melissa?" "Who?" Mom inquired. Jordan's heart shattered. "You don't remember her? She was your daughter!" "We never had a daughter," Dad said. "I-I remember. WHY DON'T YOU!? You would know her longer than me!" Jordan argued. He stomped upstairs, and looked out the window of his room. "Me-Melissa...Are you still there? Out there?" Jordan began to shake. A tear rolled down his cheek, and he squatted down, crying quietly."I wish I noticed this rather large cloud," Melissa muttered. "Ah well. I suppose I should go for my daily stroll around the town." Melissa strapped her gun-blade to her back. "It's dark, and no one will see me, so it must be alright. Still not happy that I have a good reputation here." Melissa walked down an empty road. The cloud made the road look a different shade. She was about to make a turn when a man's voice yelled at her. "It's her again!" Melissa sighed, and hid behind a house. "This little place is only filled with dirt roads. He's not a cop! I'm just taking a walk!"  Melissa frowned.

Kidare chuckled. "I finally beat him." He began laughing all out. "I finally beat him! How do you like that Sikota, win after win and now you've been beaten so easily!" He shot a sonic punch into the water of the lake. "Let darkness consume it all!"

He was ecstatic, unable to conserve his excitement by walking he began an all out sprint toward Lirium Cave.

Joshua stared into the clouds and darkness with intrigue. He hated it, and it was extremely frightening, but it was far too interesting in Joshua's eyes for him to go away. Heh...to think an eleven year old here stood in the darkness fearfully, but didn't have the urge to leave whereas many adults did? Being an orphan never really seemed to toughen him up any more though. He was still the emotional, uptight, formal kid he used to be. Joshua looked over from the garden and noticed someone a bit taller than him, but around his age, running off. Joshua's always been rather short though, even for being eleven. The other boy seemed to show his fear of the darkness, as opposed to Joshua whom would just bottle it up and release it later on...usually. Anyway, the boy did seem to be around his age, but he was definitely more casual-- judging by his clothing. Joshua, on the other hand, used to be a rich kid and always dressed formally in a stainless white. His blonde hair was a bit looser and grown-out though. Joshua's blue eyes were clear and full of youthful innocence, just like the syringa flowers Joshua stood over. Before Joshua said anything, which he probably wouldn't have anyway, the other boy rushed into a house and slammed it closed. It seemed as though he was a bit luckier than Joshua...he had a place to live in. Joshua turned and looked back at the darkening world above him. Water dripped on his face a little bit, but not naturally. Joshua's emotions already started causing it to fall. Less than a sprinkle was dropping, and it was only on Joshua for now."So it seems as though my plans will indeed take hold from here on out. I wonder who became the pawn of mine to so kindly wipe a lighthouse dark.Speaking of pawns, the boy that I...assisted...should be around the age of eleven now. That is old enough to carry on splendidly." Dante spoke divinely but cruelly as his white and black wings both spread out and dropped the petals and feathers spiraling in the room. Dante sat down in a large golden throne that reached to the ceiling, etched with a sun of gold towards the top. The throne was decorated with golden spirals, and elegantly gliding angels down towards the actual seat of it. Finally finishing his apple, Dante simply vaporized the rest and walked outside from the peak of the lighthouse still, atop a misty and foggy balcony. Angelic gargoyle statues lied on the edges. "Admist this darkness and fog of a blur, I believe it is time...to visit the youthful and oblivious boy of my plan." Dante said quietly as, with the lighthouse being so high, Dante simply flew into the sky vertically until the darkness and clouds hid him. Dante speedily and swiftly flew to the peaceful Rose Town. Upon arrival, he teleported down to the ground with his wings folded and hid. Dante stood out quite a bit being in a golden, white, and black robe and all, but he still emitted an intimidating aura. (I'll begin here. Against the darkness is the safest route for fraud.) Dante thought.

"MAN UP!" Jordan screamed. He jumped on his bed, and onto the floor, downstairs. "Mom. Dad. I'm leaving to find someone I miss! I might not come back alive but I want you remember me! PLEASE! Jordan opened the door, and closed it quietly when he was outside, forcing himself to lock the door shut to keep his parents safe if the dark cloud reached the town and corrupted everyone that weren't fully light... " Jordan ran to the back of his house and  grabbed his spear. He faced the road ahead. "Okay, dark cloud! I'm wiping out every single demon, creature, darkness pawn and all them creeps!" Jordan charged. He came across a river, or stream, or even part of the ocean, he couldn't be sure. "That might be a problem," he muttered. Jordan held his spear like a javelin and sprang forward using his spear like a pole, landing in water, soaking himself. He lay underwater for five seconds, and bursted out, splashing droplets. He breathed heavily. "Lucky I can breath!" He walked very slowly to the other side, resting when he was passed.A man and woman in white suits held Melissa's arms. "Great," Melissa mumbled. Melissa inched her left hand to her gun-blade and aimed it at the man. He ducked, and the woman pulled out a gun at aimed hers at Melissa's head. Melissa stomped on the woman's right foot, and ran back to her original spot, the cliff above the water. The two people had glowing weapons in their hands, running to Melissa. Melissa scoffed and hid in the shadow of a house. The man ran ahead, and Melissa tripped him, and he fell off the cliff, into the water. Melissa looked over the edge, as the woman kicked her in the back suddenly. Melissa dangled over the edge, and tossed her gun-blade into the bushes. The woman was about to pull the trigger when Melissa climbed back up and kicked the gun into the water below. The woman stepped backward, and Melissa pushed her. The woman regained her strength, at the ledge and retreated. "Think twice before messing with me!" Melissa called. Looking at the ever larger cloud, Melissa frowned. She picked up her gun-blade and strapped it to her back once more. "What were they possibly thinking when they assaulted me? I've killed 17 people here. Even a professional fighter. What was rushing through their minds?" Melissa pondered. A ball conked Melissa on the head. A boy and girl in matching clothing chased after it, running over Melissa's feet. "Sorry!" The girl exclaimed when they grabbed the ball and ran over Melissa's feet a second time. Melissa growled and immediately pulled the trigger. A tiny bullet striked the boy in the knee, and the girl in the foot. Even badly wounded, they crawled away. "No one. Messes. With. Darkness." Melissa placed her gun-blade beside her and she kneeled down, staring at Rose Town again.

The water displaced by Kidare's blast gave Sikota an opening. He launched the cords from his glove into a rock formation and pulled himself out. He coughed up some lake water. "Time to chase the jerk down." He said. He launched the cords forward and pulled himself towards Lirium Cave. Repeating the motion he reached the entrance in minutes. It tired his arm out. "I hope Link'll be okay."

Joshua noticed the boy once more, this time with a javelin in-hand. Joshua sighed and with nothing to do, he causally and nonchalantly followed the boy. Joshua walked and the other boy ran, but it didn't take long to catch up to him when they got to the river. The loud stream of the river didn't really allow much sound to get heard so Joshua stood quiet as the boy struggled through the stream, whilst Joshua was shortly behind him, the stream merely swirling around him without a drop landing on Joshua. He was controlling the water quite easily and once they got out, the completely undrenched Joshua walked up to the boy. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing?" Joshua asked a bit rasply and shyly. "Waited a few seconds longer and you wouldn't have to go upstream." Joshua continued calmly, but still nervous on the inside.Dante wandered around Rose Town and stood in the garden in the middle of many blooming plumeria flowers. "How peculiar." Dante muttered while glancing around aimlessly. "Where could the boy have gone now?"

"Who are you? And what are you? What do you want? If you're not evil, I'm looking for my sister. She disappeared a while ago. She was thirteen the last time I saw her. Might still be alive, or thirteen," Jordan explained. "Do you know the fastest way to that lighthouse?" he asked about Terrea Lighthouse.

Joshua looked at the other boy strangely with his questions. "Oh uh...sorry, my name's Joshua Akira. Um...I'm human...and I don't really want anything...." Joshua stuttered in response. 'Who are you?' and 'What do you want?' were perfectly plausible questions...but 'What are you?' That was a bit strange. "I guess I'll help look for this sister of yours, but the lighthouse is certainly ways away from Rose Town." Joshua said as he controlled the water that had drenched the other boy and released it down so that it merely splattered on the floor. The boy might have been cold, but he was dry now. "By the way, what's your name? I could get you there faster, but it all depends on my mood." While that last statement may have sounded a bit jerky, Joshua meant it literally. If he could use Earth or Air in his current emotion then he could do it now, but water's not going to get them all the way over there.

"I'm Jordan Akir--I mean Jordan Yezrodon. And what do you mean by your mood? Are you a mage disguised as a boy?" Jordan asked Joshua. Jordan knew to trust Joshua, but he couldn't help fell a little uneasy. Probably of the darkness, making him queasy.

(Soo many questiooonnns~) Joshua complaint in his head, quite nervously. "O-okay, nice to meet you Jordan...." Joshua stuttered and tapped his foot quietly. "I mean...like, different things happen in different emotions, and when I feel a bit sad I control water, and when I feel mad I control fire, and I use lightning when I'm annoyed, and air when I'm happy, and I think BLOOD when I'm all nervous and--" Joshua cut himself off as one of Jordan's bones cracked from the blood moving around, though right now Jordan's bone crack was no fracture, it was like cracking your knuckles, except this was on his neck and unexpected. "See...?" Joshua told Jordan. "But I don't know, mages are only in myths, right? But then again, humans don't really do these kinds of things do they? I don't know!" Joshua sat down and sighed, trying to calm down a little bit. He didn't want to permanently disable someone with his nervousness and queasiness, but he couldn't control it. Being too emotional was a much larger problem within Joshua.

"Sorry for so many questions." Jordan gulped from the pressure. "I guess we could go by ourselves right now." Jordan looked at Terrea Lighthouse. "Don't worry, sis!" Jordan exclaimed. "You wouldn't have to be followed by anyone, would you?" Jordan had an uneasy look on his face. "Because if you are, that might a problem..." Jordan took his spear. "We might need to kill them! Before they get us..."

Joshua slowly stood up and began going towards the Terrea Lighthouse. "I-it's okay, you were right to ask me all that...!" Joshua reasurred Jordan. "I wouldn't know of anyone following me, you're the first person I've officially met in years...." Joshua told Jordan still nervously. Joshua grew a bundle of fear when Jordan mentioned killing 'them'. He had a mentality where killing someone was far worse and fearful than his own death. Joshua didn't mention it to Jordan and just went over towards the Terrea Lighthouse, but he would never want to kill a living soul for even his own life. He would hurt one, or escape from one, but never full-on kill someone."And you must be the sister Melissa the other little boy has mentioned." Dante spoke aloud from behind Melissa, it was a wonder and a mystery as to how he had arrived there-- at least to other people. "Fret not, dear child, I will not harm you. It just so happens to appear that an acquaintance of yours has befriended an acquaintance of mine." Dante spoke very calmly with a divine and comfort-inducing voice. "I am curious, however, what are you doing in a place such as this?" Dante asked with an assumption of her being the one whom started this cloud of darkness...no, she didn't have that aura.

What could it meant?... Ciel said as she looked the far away dark cloud over Esperanza Town. She was on a boat going back to Filthel Harbor. the darkness... I can feel it... getting stronger... could be that the legends are really true? Could it be taht we are on a great danger? Her thoughs were sealed when a voice claimed: Reaching Filthel Harbor, prepare for disembark!!

When they arrived at the harbor, she walked to the center on town, the lights on the streets were warm and comfortable as she walked to home... I hope our lighthouse will be fine tonight....

Really... How far is that place? Al exclaimed as he crossed the plains near the entrance to Genaro Cave. If I hurry up maybe I can get to Filthel on morning... Sigh... I hope i will find what i´m looking for... He said as he got close to the cave entrance.

Melissa turned to face Dante, and stood up. "This is my home now. I used to live in Rose Town, but the reason for that, I'll say later. And you are correct. I'm Melissa. The older sister of Jordan," she said. "Do you have any idea where they are?" Melissa didn't smile nor frown, but rather have a slight frown of confusion, with also a pinch of curiosity. Melissa bent down and picked up her gun-blade. She strapped it to the back of herself and faced Dante directly."Maybe we could reach there sooner if we cut across a field." Jordan pointed his spear toward the sun, and the spear glistened. "Or we could...no...how about we...AUGH! I don't have any ideas!"

"Ah, Rose Town. Such...nostlagia that name gives." Dante spoke still divinely as several rosemary flowers inexplicably grew beside him. They sprouted, grew, and bloomed in a matter of seconds, and there wasn't even any seeds on-sight. In the language of flowers, rosemary refers to remembrance. "Indeed. They are, say, between here and Rose Town...they are actually headed here. I just so happened to pass by them on the way here." Dante said calmly."Well..." Joshua hesitated, and conflicted his thoughts, not knowing whether he should or shouldn't. "We can get there a bit faster depending on what happens. Do you think you can make me laugh, or tick me off, or something...?" Joshua asked Jordan nervously, he wasn't so sure of it. Despite him being emotional, he would obviously expect Jordan to make him feel one way or another if he went along. "I don't know if it'll work...but I guess it's worth a shot." Maybe giving him a good laugh or a sense of happiness could be easy, but it'd be harder to try and get him mad for this particular purpose.

"Oh...I guess...Are you...paying attention?" Jordan's joke he had in mind was stupid, but he couldn't think of much."Heading here? This second? I suppose that's expected. It wouldn't hurt to 'check' on them..." Melissa grinned. "But I must simply walk. I don't have the gift of flight, you see! If you were to bring them here that would almost surely speed things up! Do your powers allow you to bring other with you? If not, well then..."

"Well...uh...yeah...." Joshua responded curiously to Jordan, wondering what he had in mind.Dante smirked a bit, "They are indeed heading here this second. If I needed to, I could bring many others where I please, however, I have a nonsensical sense that they'll be here...sooner than expected." Dante told Melissa in an abstract manner.(Sorry, short post >~<)

(It's okay. I some times have posts that are less than 10 words.)

"Do you have the money?" Jordan finished his joke. Jordan thought the joke was lame.Melissa hesitated to think thoughtfully. "You're right. Most likely they'll be here rather soon...How about you tell me about yourself?"(Shorter post than yours...)

...."Huh?...." Joshua asked obliviously, thinking for a split second. "...Oh. Oh, yeah, I get it...." Joshua mumbled quietly, "You're not very funny, are you?" Joshua smiled, "I'm not either anyway." He said and sighed, "It may not be as quick, but at least I'm pretty calm." Joshua said, and without warning, froze over the ground towards the Terrea Lighthouse. Before Jordan might have slipped and fell, he controlled the ice underneath himself and Jordan, breezing their way to the Lighthouse. Jordan didn't have to move, the ice moved Jordan. Eventually, the ice stopped at the Lighthouse's entrance. "Ice can't scale a building...." Joshua said, walking inside."Indeed." Dante said simply at Melissa's first statement. "About myself...." Dante didn't have the time to explain himself even a quarter of the way. "For starters, I was born in Rose Town similarily."
