Story:

The Earth has been at rest for many years. After the malevolent threat was destroyed, the Players were able to escape the Game and return back into the Real World. However, right before the Guardian J was destroyed, he warned the Players of a threat far greater than him... More Guardians. In fact, there are three more, all waiting for the perfect time to strike. Since then, the Players have taken many different paths for their second chance at life, some devoting their time to train in order to repel the threat that will eventually come, while some have simply began families. Others have experienced..... strange occurrences. Now, ten years have passed and the peace continues to thrive, but an aura of something evil has suddenly appeared and the Ex-Players can sense it, even some humans having the ability to do so as well. Looks like the second Guardian was deciding to make his debut, and his power exceed that of the first Guardian's immensely. Tasked with no other choice, the Players must unite yet again in order to defend Earth, even having to enlist the help of other humans that wish to protect the Earth. Everyone managed to get a hold of each other, deciding to meet in a cafe in New York City. That is where this story begins.

I had never rode on an airplane before, but certain things required sacrifices. Personally, heights terrified me, but I'd have to put that fear aside for now, for something far more scary was getting ready to appear. I found myself reflecting about the past, wondering how so much had changed in those few weeks all those years ago. I hadn't seen my family in years either. My daughter must have been grown up by now, my nephew as well. My father was probably very elderly now too.... boy had the time flown by. I hadn't seen my friends in so long, as I'd been busy preparing for the return of the Guardians. I didn't want them to get involved, but by the feel of it, it appeared I'd have no other choice. Oron's mind had slowly became one with mine, but his separate presence was still present. However, if it came down to it, we may be forced to separate once again. No matter what, my life was about to change yet again.

"Hey! Ms.Sayo!! Somebody is calling!!!!!" one of the young children I was forced to babysit called from the back door of the house.

I was cleaning up my backyard, I moved into a house in a neighborhood that accepts me pretty well.

"I'm coming...give me a second Kate." I called, running inside and to the phone.

It was my trainer, reminding me I had to leave for New York in thirty minuets.

"I mean Sayoko, you haven't seen these people since you were 16 years old...what are you doing?" the manager asked.

"One second--" I cut her off and turned to the three kids fighting in the living room over some weird toy.

"Guys! Stop fighting and get along. There is no reason to be fighting over toys!" I yelled and the kids shut up.

"Sorry about that...I have three kids fighting over a toy and one kid pulling on my dress hungry." I apologized.

"You better have those kids gone soon." my manager said before hanging up.

'What the crap am I going to do...?' I thought.

~Isaac~I stepped out of a car of mine and sighed, "Another crime scene? They never seem to catch them in the act." I said to myself as I walked into the house of a recent murder. The foul stench of death and decay buried into my nose as soon as I entered. I clenched my nose in disgust, "So the homicide occured three days ago at the least, just by the smell." I said quietly to myself. "Ah, Isaac, there you are. That was quite fast of you coming here." A friend of mine told me-- he was an officer. "Yeah. Where else would I be?" I asked as I examined the corpse for a split second. "What? You don't have a girlfriend yet, Isaac?" He quickly replied. I sighed irritatingly. "Careful, I don't want there to be two murders in this house. It'll be condemned." I threatened calmly, him just laughing after. I crouched down to the corpse, the horrible smell of decayed sulfur filling the air. "The victim's skin is almost completely rotten out, the bones are already visible in particular areas. The body's almost completely indistinguishable, I'll have to scan for fingerprints. Footprints for the culprit too." I told the other officers here.

Casually the young female walked down the street her mixed eyes not bringing up any attention. New York such a big place and now she was meeting a few people who wouldn't recognize Shinra. 'That's right I'm Blitz now. I guess it'll be a while till they figure it out without using my drinks that is.' Shaking her head she looked up while sighing. "So how long till the others come to fight again?" Musing to herself she continued her steady pace planning to greet at least a few of them.

This world had certainly changed over the years, that much was for certain. Humans had erected buildings so large they seemed to infiltrate the sky. Impressive... impressive indeed. They managed to harness the essence of lightning and utilize it into their daily lives, something only the gods were able to do back in the day. Looks like even humans could be gods now a days. I hadn't slain a single entity in years, that was Oron's job. When he went rogue, J had to take his place and when he decided to confront him, he got himself killed. J, the first Guardian.... killed by a bunch of humans... how pathetic. Now I had to step in for that idiot, under the orders to destroy this world to compensate for his death. I didn't want to do that just yet though... the moment J died, I took his place, but decided to take the form of a human in order to observe this world and to see how I could carry it out. One thing about humans was that they had a desire for war. No matter what the problem was, humans seemed to believe that it could be solved through physical confrontation. This would be their weakness... They'd gone as far as to develop nuclear weapons which could wipe out civilizations in the blink of an eye. That's how I decided I'd get rid of them, I'd infiltrate a nation and become a high ranking power, and I was pretty close too. I was running for president in fact, but before I even had a chance to do anything, the leaders from every nation signed a treaty that agreed to dispose of these powerful devices, permanently. Now I was pissed. It took years to produce just a single bomb, and I didn't want to wait anymore. Screw the majestic approach, I'd have to use my powers after all. About a month ago, I disposed of this human form and disappeared into a jungle in South America, once again resuming my form as a Guardian. It caused quite a commotion, a presidential candidate simply vanishing, but they got over it quite quickly actually. Humans seemed to be especially skilled at adapting... that's how those damn interlopers were born. Here, I started charging my power so that I could do the dirty work myself. Just a few more days and I'd be ready to appear to the masses. J had taken a silent approach, but that ended up backfiring on him. In fact, I couldn't help but to wonder who had killed him... Maybe I'd get to fight them myself.

I'd been on this plane for hours, and would still be on here for hours more. Such a long flight it was from Europe to New York, longer than I'd expected it to be. My family and friends would be there soon, and I'd be late. My flight was delayed because of "Technical difficulties with the radar systems". What a coincidence.... perhaps it was the work of the Guardian, but I couldn't know for sure. Hopefully those volunteers I got in contact with would be there too..... In the seat beside me, ironically, was a man reading the book Oron and I had written that exposed the Game. Of course I did it anonymously so that I could protect my identity from and possible cohorts of the new threat. Sacrificing wealth was just a small cost to pay. I asked the man, "So, do you actually believe any of that crap in the book," stating a false opinion so he had no clue whatsoever that I was the author. He looked at me for a moment, then responded, "Well yes actually." He turned back and resumed reading, that being that. Looks like I was having some kind of impact after all... I just hoped that those new contacts would meet with us. I leaned back in my seat and fell asleep.

~Sayo~

After a while, I was finally out the door. I didn't live that far from the place we were meeting up at. I had started living in New York...no problem.

'Just think...I'll be able to see everyone again.' I thought as I nervously drove down the road.

(short post χ_χ)

Bronshu:  I inhaled quickly and exhaled slowly.  Eight metal fighting dummies surround me and got ready charge.  I jumped high and saw the things crashing into each other.  I pull out my custom blasters and started firing at the lot of them.  Four more came and one of them sent a punch that barely moved me.  Cracking my knuckles, I threw a punch back, did a dashing tackle, and a three hit finishing combo.  There were various parts on the floor, so I whistled and four cleaning droids came to sweep up the mess.  I go grab a towl and walk to the nearest mirror.  After wiping off my forehead and having it around my neck, I was a little surprised to see myself.  I clearly have gotten stronger since I see muscles I thought were pretty impressive.  I start walking off to a workshop section and begun adding some finishing touches to a Mecha-Noise.  Finished in no time, I thought:  It's fortunate for me to find an empty factory building in New York.  I had plenty of time and privacy to get some work done.  But, I still haven't found a good way to free my sister Momo from "The Game".  For ten years I haven't been able to rescue her.

Diasor:  "Hey, youre doing the best you can.  It's not easy to remove a person from the Reapers' Game without some kind of power or ability.  You really came a long way over these years.  I'm sure you will find a way."

Bronshu:  I say:  "I know and I thank you for that.  There is no way that I'm giving up so quick. ... Oh!"  I look on my right wrist watch and say:  "I better start leaving now.  Supposed to meet with everyone at a Cafe'.  It only takes ten minutes to get there by foot."

Diasor:  "Well then..."

Bronshu:  "I know, time to get going."  I got up, grabbed my coat and walked outside the factory.  I locked the entrance securely and start walking off to the meeting place.

First one there she looked back and forth debating if she really wanted to get involved with this mess. 'There your friends they need help no need for doubt.' Taking a deep breathe while walking in her black hair now to her shoulders was pulled out of it's ponytail while she sighed. Warmer air brushed against her arms as she walked in taking a seat while nervously drumming her fingers. 'I wonder who I'll see first. I just hope none of them recognize me as Shinra.' It was a very welcoming thought not to be remembered at all.

My eyes shot open as the plane landed, a loud screeching piercing my ears from the wheels colliding with the ground. When it was settled, I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my carry on bag then departed from the plane, walking to the baggage claim area. A black suitcase finally came around and I quickly reached for it. I noticed the time on my watch, 7:50 P.M. I only had ten minutes left to get there! Shoot, I would be late for sure now... I signaled for a cab and reached for my phone, but it wasn't there. Shit, I must have dropped it on the plane while I was sleeping.... Luckily, I still had my wallet. The cab took off toward New York City and I gave one last glance at the airport. I had a feeling that from here on out, my life would be a lot different.

I handed a few records of DNA to an officer, "Take this to get the victim and culprit both confirmed. I'm afraid I'm running late for somewhere I have to be." I said as I grabbed all of my other stuff and headed out the door. "Tell them I might have to take my annual vacation starting today." I continued as I opened the door and walked ahead to my car. (So I guess I should see them again. It's been a while. They haven't seen me since I was eleven. Well I suppose Sayo has when I was thirteen but still...) I thought to myself as I inserted the key for ignition and drove ahead.

~Selim~

"Ah, here we go again. Heh, I wonder what they'll think of me still in a body as young as It was before. I doubt they'd like me re-meeting them in my Pure Form." I scoffed and walked ahead, ready to meet everyone again. The cafè was already in my field of vision.

???-Hello?

???-It´s me. How is the research going?

???-Ammm usually people ask, How are you? or Hey, how was your day? don´t you think Auron?

Auron- Sigh...anyway, do you have something?

???- Well... as I said before, there is no incidents about them for now.

Auron- I see. I´ll call you tomorrow Edgar.

Edgar- Sure. As if I have something better to wait for.-

It´s been 2 months since I reappeared in the Real world. When I checked the old places I knew on this city, that´s when I learned the cruel truth. 10 years has passed since all of us were trapped on the Reapers Game. I was in shock...for me were only minutes.... for the rest of my friends and the world... 10 damned years. Since then i focused on my mission...

"Defeat the Guardians and save everyone"

But inside my head... the memories of everyone crossed inside my mind... How are they? Are they alright? They are happy? They remember me? All these questions crushed my heart inside me. But this was not the time for doubt. I returned to where I was staying my grandparents old house... now almost in ruins... it´s incredible that no one would bought this... I suposse is my fault. they died and I wasn´t there for them... I was near Times Square when I heared a scream... later a voice yelling:

???- Someone please help!!

For a moment... I was about to ignore it but then memories came back to my head. I followed the voice call for help...

Bronshu:  I took a quick stop at a bus stop to look at my watch.  It looked I still had time to make it.  I looked up and saw the Cafe where I'm supposed to meet with everyone.  Smiling, I thought:  I can't believe it's been ten years since I last saw everyone.  I wonder how well all of them were doing with their lives.  I know mine wasn't all that successful.  I shook my head and kept walking to the place.

The sky had started to darken, the stars shining more brightly than ever. As I charged my power, I had nothing to do but stare into the stars all this time. It was so boring.... but I noticed that every once in a while, a star would suddenly go out, almost as if it were being extinguished. The life in that galaxy, gone in a flash, no longer could its inhabitants see their family and smile with them, make memories that gave them something to connect each other with, make a difference in the lives of others... That's what this galaxy would soon be like, and I'd be the root of it. Having this much energy felt...incredible! Every second it flowed into me, and soon I'd be ready for the great eradication. Who would dare defy a power of my magnitude? Any sane person would simply let themselves die and spare themselves a painful, gruesome death, but not everyone on this planet was sane. Just like those ones that killed J. That won't happen again though... I'm much more powerful than J, I can't let that happen. I put my arm up and aimed a finger at the brightest star I could see, holding my hand in the shape of a gun. I pulled my thumb down like I was pulling the trigger and suddenly the star disappeared. I grinned slightly to myself, as it looked like my power was almost done recharging. I wonder if anyone would notice the absence of that particular star....

I parked my car in the café parking lot. This was embarrassing...being the only girl in this reunion.

I opened the door...someone was already here, I could barely tell who it was.

"Br-Bronshu?" I asked, a bit unsure.

"It's Sayo." I said with a smile, sitting down at a separate table, not that far from him.

The café was pretty much empty.

"So what have you been up to?" I asked.

The cab had been driving for about twenty minutes, and since I didn't have my phone, I'd grown bored. I rummaged through my luggage in the backseat of the cab, finding a lightweight, black jacket that was hood less, and zipped up in the center. I tossed it on and put away my belongings, the driver announcing that we'd arrive at our destination in about five minutes. Boy, I was so nervous about this meeting. How would everyone react to seeing me once again? Would Sayo be pissed that I just left that one day? What had Isaac turned out like? Did Skull ever restore his normal body? Bronshu and Diasor.... I wonder what kind of contraction they'd created? Auron... I hadn't heard from him in a while, but I wonder if he got my message. Finally, the new recruits... would they just come to our aid without any prior evidence that this new Guardian even exists? So many questions unknown... they'd be answered in five minutes.

Walking up to the two already there she smiled slightly. "Nice to see both of you again." Her eyes hidden by her bangs she was still able to tell who they were in an instant. "It's been a good bit of time since any of us have seen each other hasn't it?" They still wouldn't know who she really was. She wouldn't let them if she could. That was at least what she hoed but Sayo might recognize her as Shinra after everything that had happened.

(lol hoed xD)

(Wasnt all that successful, Ultimus? Didnt Bronshu just have drones? Hes rich!)

~Isaac~

I saw the cafè and drove over to the parking lot. "This place is empty. I'm surprised it hasn't gone out of business." I said to myself as I parked and walked out of my car, locking it. "I wonder if they'll recognize me from child to adult." I walked over to the cafè and turned to the streets, seeing a smaller figure. Selim! Isn't that how he looked ten years ago? He literally hasn't changed. Strange...perhaps he doesn't age. He was a bit farther so I walked into the cafè knowing he'd come. The first person I saw was a man, a bit muscular. "Bronshu? Is that you?" I asked him when I turned and instantly recognized Sayo. "Sayo! I haven't seen you since I was thirteen and you first left the house." I said with a smile.

~Selim~

I walked on to the cafè. "Almost there..." I muttered, continuing to stroll ahead.

(lol.  By unsuccessful, I meant Bronshu not getting his twin sister Momo out of the Reapers Game. But lets say soon he will make a discovery that can help.)

Bronshu:  I turned around and was surprised to see Sayo first.  Scratching my head, I say:  "S-Sayo?  Wow.  It really is good to see a familiar face.  What I've been up to?  Well, I was trying to find a way to free my sister from 'The Game', but haven't even gone close.  Ten years without any progress.  I took time to train to but, enough about that.  What have you been up to?"  I looked back to see another familar person.  I then say:  "Huh?  Isaac?  Heh heh.  Looks like someone got taller.  And with an outfit like that, I say you got some job."

Edited by Ultimus Grid

~Sayo~

"Isaac! Your not a short little kid any more!" I exclamed, hugging him tightly.

Just because we are both older doesn't mean anything. I am still his cosin, but I let go of Isaac and turned to Bronshu.

"Nothing of no importance...I have been bored training and babysitting little kids..." I said with a sigh.

"Sorry about Momo...I still dont have the hearing in my left ear..." I said sadly.

(Seriously I'm ignored?)

(Sayo will reconize you...I can't edit that well on 3ds...sorry ;-; )

Edited by Sodom

(Sorry about that.  Hang on a mintue)

Bronshu:  Laughing a little, I say:  "Babysitting?  Now that's cute."  I turned around and saw another woman that I don't seem to know.  Confused, I thought:  "Huh?  I'm sorry, do I know you miss?  But for some reason, I feel as though I met you before."

~Sayo~

'Suuurreee...It's really cute when you have kids that drive you absolutely insane and you just want to kill them because they won't obey...' I thought in protest, then looking at the other girl.

"You can't be....drink girl? Yup..you are aren't you..." I said in a rather socked...Im screwed kind of manner.

(Amm do you remember MJ? I was MIA for ten years. TEN!! xD)

Running across the streets I reached an alley. There a group of five men were blocking the pass of someone... a girl... brown hair, and red sweater. For a moment the memories of someone reached my sight. "Sayo..."

Bandid1- Looks like little girl, you are now our prey tonight!

Girl- Don´t please... I´ll give you what you want but let me go.

Bandit2- Hehehehehe... but I want something else from you... Boss can I get her?

Bandit1- Hehehehehe do what you want...

Girl- Nooooooo

Auron- Stop!

Then I pulled out one of my cards, launching at them while a huge blast surrounded the alley. When the smoke cleared out... all of them were K.O in the floor. Then I reached slowly to the girl... she was scared..

Auron- Are you alright? Looks like a dangerous place for you isn´t it?

Girl- Sniff... sniff... thank you... Who are you?

Auron- I ... think this is not the best place to talk. I said while looking at the bandits on the floor.

Girl- ...sniff... ok. Lets get out of here.

Then we walked out of the alley walking on the street. She was now more calm. My name is Auron. Those bandits were serious thing, You were lucky I was near huh?.... then she stopped for a moment, looking at me she said: Can you... take me home?... Amm sure why not? "After all what else I could do this night.

My name is Lyra. She said looking with more relief. Thanks for saving me....

"Hehehe I suposse Tetsu´s Cards are more useful than I thought."... Ok lets go Lyra.
