The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 12, 2012 Hey guys, I wanted to make this topic because I want to discuss a certain train of thought that I've been having. Okay, so Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the final chapter of the Xehanort Arc, and he said that after that, a new saga would begin. But the question I have is, that after having focused so much time(Counting KH3, it would be 8 games) on defeating someone as powerful as Xehanort, what villain can Nomura create that would be even more powerful than Xehanort himself? And what Disney themed worlds would he choose? Obviously I'll support KH, but they do realize that as time passes by, they will start running out of worlds to use. (Unless they go with the repetition method, as seen in past KH games.) So what do you guys think will be next for the series after the Xehanort saga ends? OthersiderME 614 Posted December 12, 2012 Nomura will do something and we'll all be completely confused about where his logic went. That's how it's gone so far, hasn't it? 2 cz4200 and The Transcendent Key reacted to this

AntonioKHT 449 Posted December 12, 2012 To tell the truth, I think Nomura could really end KH with the Xehanort's death. Like you said, he would start to run out of worlds, and I don't really want Pixar ones. I like their movies, but I think they don't present good stories to KH. Also, I don't think Sora would be the protaganist, if he were to move on to another Saga. I think he'd come up with a fresh new hero and villain. He could easily just start others from scratch. Also, he mentioned something in a interviwe that made me think quite a lot : "I don't think Sora would be irrelevant" it seems like he's considering using a brand new hero, but still using Sora as someone important, maybe a master to train new Keyblade Wielders. Those are just guesses anyway... Who know what works on that evil mind... 2 The Transcendent Key and Mystics Apprentice reacted to this
riku13 148 Posted December 12, 2012 I hope instead of just one villian at a time he should make it so 2 or 3 fight against sora as the final bosses with another companion like roxas or riku.

Enlighten me as to what kind of worlds would you think of? *sits on a chair and pets my imaginary cat* Proceed. 1 Ultimus Grid reacted to this
KyleSnyder 5 Posted December 12, 2012 I can think of many ways Kingdom Hearts could be kept alive. For new main villains, he could use the somebodies of Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene. I doubt those 4 will be in KH3, so KH4 would be perfect for them. As far as other villains he could put in, you gotta think on the Square-Enix side of things. Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka and Kuja would make great bosses to fight in a Kingdom Hearts game. I'd also like to see him incorporate elements from Samurai Legend Musashi in future Kingdom Hearts games (i.e. Musashi being one of your allies, the World of the Mystics being one of the worlds along with all the areas in that world, all the villains from Gandrake Enterprises being bosses you can fight, ect.). I have a ton of ideas on what they can do for future Kingdom Hearts games.
KeybladeWielder_ 161 Posted December 12, 2012 Mickey will absorb Xehanort's power. (and any other bad guys powers) and with Disney on his side Mickey and Darth Vader will rise up and then we'll play as.... Hmm.... Luke Skywalker..... But the protaganists and antagonists are going to have to be very bad ass.

Smithee 327 Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) A light based villain. ^This, preferably even in KH3 itself. Aqua would make a very sympathetic one, given how Darkness empowered MX to screw her and her friends over. The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 13, 2012 hmmm cant think of anything...but with Nomura, he'll get it in a dream. can i poke your cat? Of course you can poke my cat! *gives you my imaginary cat* Just be kind to it! If you hurt my imaginary cat, I'll kill you!!!!! Well, in terms of a new villain, I like the idea of a light based villain, because after all, you can't always go blaming on darkness for everything. I mean seriously, light has it's dark side too. It's why there's a balance between them. Besides, darkness powers have always been of interest to me in KH games, which is probably why I like playing as Riku in Dream Drop Distance so much. But in all seriousness though, it would be nice to see an epic light based villain. ^^

KH4Real 749 Posted December 13, 2012 Sorry I don't understand what you're asking. Nvm. I though you said that Mickey owns Xehanort powers in that sentence. But he gets tbe power not if Mickey kills him.

IMO, MX's deeds with Darkness are just asking for someone/something of Light to finally snap and retaliate.
