Captains Log: Day 14

It is the brick of a new day. We have been sailing for over two weeks now. With any luck, we should be coming close to our destination of the Sea Temple. Although, the skies have been nice and the water has been clear, which means sooner or later there will be something bad that will happen, thinking it could be a hard sea storm, I wish I could just get out of here. But I am starting to really enjoy this crew, and really hope that they can make it out alive. Though, I feel as if this is not everyone who was destined for the power of greatness. I will reported back soon

The air was nice and crisped on the waves of the shores. The sun was shining with a warm temperature in its path. The sky was peaceful and partly cloudy. All in all, it was a pretty nice day to be on the ocean in a pirate ship. Nick walked out of his cabin and walked on the dock. He noticed it was a beauty of a day and noticed that the boat was still running its course with magic. He then spotted Allison watching the waves. He walked over to her and smiled, "Yet another beautiful day, isn't it?" Allison then smiled as she looked at Nick. "Yes, it is nice out today. So how much further do you think it is til we reach the Sea Temple?" Allison asked. "Not too far, we should be in the bermuda triangle soon enough." Nick said. "Thats good." Allison replied.

Balthasar awoke in a dark room, with a huge headache due to sleeping on the hard floor.

"Ugh, I guess I didn't make it to an inn before I went out like a light," Balthasar muttered getting up of the cold hard ground. He saw a nearby window that had a bit a lighting shining through the dirty curtains that covered it. Only what he saw surprised him.

"...Sea water?" He asked bemused. "There's no visible land anywhere, how long have I been out? How did I even end up here? I need to take better care of myself, or next time I might just wake up in a ditch."

He overheard conversation going on over by the stairs leading up to a door.

"I think this must be a ship," He concluded, due to obvious reasons like being surrounded by water. "Do I reveal myself, or stay hidden until we reach land again?"

Balthasar slowly approached the door, opening it slightly. The sunshine that hit his face hurt his eyes for a little while while they adjusted to the new surroundings. He saw people walking to and fro attending to their own business.

(Pirates, maybe?) He thought. (I've never seen real pirates before!) He walked around, curious as to what he had gotten himself into, and oblivious to the fact that he wasn't supposed to be on the ship in the first place.

Night approached Nick and Allison. "Are we there yet?" he asked, "It's been two weeks."

Matt was walking around, smelling the air to see where he was. Matt eventually smelled and heard sea water. "Hmm, that's odd, I don't remember being by the sea two minutes ago." Matt said to himself. "Oh well, I know my surroundings as if I could still see, shouldn't be to hard to figure out where I am." said Matt.

Nick looked at Night. "Well good morning to you too. And we should be in the triangle soon enough, and once we are inside we are very close to the temple. But until then I think we should go enjoy some breakfast." Nick said as he straightened up his navy blue pirate hat with a purple feather sticking out of it. The hat had been a family airune for a long time now. Allison smiled and nodded. She walked into the dining cabin on the ship. Nick looked around feeling that there was someone on board that wasn't part of his crew or with Night and the others. He then spotted someone at a slightly opened door on the otherside. He walked over to the door where Balthasar was. "You got to the count of three to tell me how you are and where you came from." Nick said. He then pulled out his sword and held it at Balthasar's head.

Fenris was watching. Waiting. He had just woken up. He didn't know how he got there, but he had a feeling that these two strangers had something to do with it. So, he hid silently in his crate, watching. 'This is getting interesting,' he thought.

(NightfallXIII, can you please edit your last post. I don't want anyone to come between the tension with Nick and Balthasar right now. The only ones who should see them is myself and VIIth Angel. If you want, you can have Fenris be spying on everyone on the ship or something. Just don't have Fenris confront the two characters just yet. And could you please make your posts just a little bit longer?)

Done.

Balthasar froze.

"Whoa there, I'm not your enemy. Unless I did something wrong and not remember it, which I'm very sorry for." He said half jokingly, half nervously. "I'm Balthasar. Now how about you, who are you guys?" He said, backif away slightly. He had gotten into many awkward situations like these, so he wasn't too worried, but he was still aware that his life was in possible danger.

Nick put his sword away, but kept it to where he could still get it if needed. "My name is Captain Nick, I won't tell you my last name yet. Now what are you doing on my ship boy?" Nick asked. His pirate hat was covering the light and made his silver hair shine bright. For a person who was only 16, Nick acted like he was at least 30 years of age.

Matt was now at the top small cliff about five stories above the water."Hmm, I wonder how I got here?" Matt asked himself as he slowly walked forward, falling off the small cliff towards the water, landing in it. When Matt resurfaced, he heard a sound on the water, and figured it was a ship. "Hey, could you toss down a rope or something?" called Matt, hoping to get someone's attention.

Balthasar's eased his tension, and sighed.

"Actually, I was hoping you could tell me, but it seems you don't know me, so I can't really tell you. Maybe I had too much to drink? I probably shouldn't be drinking at 16, but it helps me forget my situation for a while." He said while leaning on the railing and looking to the sea, thinking how bland and hard his life had been.

His mood immediately changed as he looked back at Nick.

"So, what're you guys anyway? Are you merchants? Are you outlaws? Pirates? I've never met pirates before. How long have we been out? Are you good at fighting?" Many questions flowed his curious mind as he expressed them to Nick.

(Btw I wasn't gonna have anything supernatural occur to him until maybe they reached the sea temple, if you could maybe help out by mentioning anything related to Kronos being found there)

Nick looked at Balthasar. "Look, you look like a nice guy, but you are putting so many questions on me, and I don't like that. Now, we have been out here for two weeks straight. I wouldn't be a CAPTAIN if I wasn't good at fighting. And yes, I am the captain of a pirate crew, exept we have three passangers on board with us." Nick said.

Balthasar nodded in understanding.

"I didn't mean to intrude, I didn't choose to be on here, at least I don't think I did. Look I'll get off your next stop I promise, I'll even give you all the money I have." He reached into his pocket, pulling out a few coins. "They're kind of from different countries, I travel a lot."

He then placed it back into his pocket, and stretched, realizing how tense he felt from waking up on the floor.

"So uh, where are you going, exactly?" He asked one more question hoping not to annoy Nick.

Matt noticed that no one on the ship heard him, so he swam closer and grabbed onto a loose piece of the ship. "Hey, up there, just for the record, being dragged by a ship and half drowning down here is not my idea of a good day!" called Matt, hoping that this time someone would here him, as he didn't want to start drowning anytime soon.

Balthasar glanced over to the side of the ship where he'd heard someone and saw Matt hanging onto the ship.

"Either you usually have some people hanging out on the side of the ship, or there's someone hanging onto your ship and is in trouble..." Balthasar said awkwardly. He saw some nearby rope and grabbed it, tying it to the side of the railing, and went over the edge, easing his way towards Matt.

Balthasar held his hand out. "Come on, unless you want to stay in the cold water," He joked, keeping his hand out.

Matt grabbed onto the rope and started climbing. Matt allowed Balthasar to help him up. When Matt finally got to the deck, he was panting cause he was trying to catch his breath. Matt then looked towards the guys as he could hear their footsteps. Matt figured that seeing his sunglasses would make them think he was just keeping the sun out of his eyes. "Better late than never I guess." said Matt.

Balthasar laughed. "I guess this ship is attracting people everywhere, isn't it?" He joked to Nick. Then he posed the question again.

"Well, I want to be a little trouble to you as I can, so just let me know the next destination and I'll start plotting where to go next and I'll be out of your hair." He said warmly.

Nick smiled at the two. "I'm guessing destiny has brought you two to this ship, so you can stay with us for now. The more the merrier. Now as to where we are going is a place called the Sea Temple which is a bit different than what you are used to." Nick said. "Hmh gentlemen, let me ask you a question. Do you believe in magic and fairlytales being real?" Nick asked.

(When can Fenris come out?)

"Yeah, I do, why do you ask?" asked Matt. Matt seemed curious about this, then again, nothing really surprised him anymore, especially the fact he was on a ship which, judging by the wind, was away from the shore where he was by now.

Nick nodded and then looked over at Balthasar. "And what about you? Do you believe in magic and fairlytales being real?" Nick asked him.

(When can Fenris come out?)

(I would say now's a good time, since we're all having a conversation)

Balthasar laughed. "I used to a while ago, until I was hit with a cold tough thing called reality a while ago. But why do you ask?" He said, pacing the ship grounds feeling a little energetic after being out for apparently two weeks.

Nick just straightened his hat and turned his back to the two. He then looked at the sky and said, "Then is should be a rude awake in the world for one of you." Nick said as he went to the wheel of the ship. Allison came out around this time and saw Balthasar and Matt. Her black hair was shining due to some dew she has put in it. She thought to herself, 'Where did those two come from? They weren't here before, and I should know. And where is Nessa today?' Allison said in her mind.

Balthasar approached Allison. "If I'd known that there were beautiful women on board pirate ships, I would've stowed away on these things sooner!" He joked, approaching Allison. "So what's your name? I'm Balthasar, nice to meet you." He said holding out his hand.
