Sorual 607 Posted October 2, 2012 Why is Naminé replacing Kairi with herself in Sora's memories? What do the Organisation benefit from it? Do Naminé and Sora become friends?
Tails 6,692 Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Why is nomine replacing kiari with herself in sora's memories?Because Marluxia and Larxene are trying to make Sora their pawn. Spectrum of Life 188 Posted October 2, 2012 Namine implants new childhood memories in Sora. Sora becomes attached to Namine. Marly "Kidnaps" her, frames it on the Loyal Organization and uses Sora to kill Xemnas and take his place..
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted October 2, 2012 Marluxia forced Namine to do it so Sora can believe that Xemnas is trying to hurt Namine. Also, if Sora forgot about Kairi, he would really have no motives to leave the castle. He would only be focused on Namine. The whole Nomine thing reminds me about the Nomnonnomnomnom song on youtube
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Pretty much what everyone else said. Namine was "born" in castle Oblivion. When Xemnas learned of her existence he sent those whom he suspected of treason along to the Castle to use her abilities to research the nature of memories, which was important to the Organization as that was all that remained of their hearts. He then sent Axel after them to ferret out and eliminate the traitors. When Marluxia learned that the hero of the Keyblade was nearby he saw an opportunity to wrest control of the Organization from Xemnas as he and Larxene had no desire to regain their hearts which was supposedly the Organization's ultimate goal. Using Namine to manipulate Sora's memories Marlixia sought to secure the boy's loyalty by threatening her. As Namine was Kairi's nobody Sora's memories of her where the easiest for Namine to rewrite. This also was the most advantageous outcome to the defectors as Sora loves Kairi and would do anything to protect her. By replacing the memories of Kairi with false ones of Namine Sora's feelings for Kairi were redirected toward Namine. Eventually Namine began to feel guilty about manipulating Sora and when Axel, having gained the trust of the traitors, was left alone with her he allowed her to escape. She sought out Sora then revealed the deception to him and apologized. She didn't expect him to to forgive her but he did because that's the kind of guy he is. At that point they became friends and Sora resolved to protect Namine by defeating the Organization. Edited October 2, 2012 by Sora_Kuno

baylaust 2,531 Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Their plan was to replace Kairi with Namine in Sora's memories. Eventually it would have gotten to the point where Sora would do anything Namine wanted him to without question. The Organization as a whole wanted Sora as their puppet to collect hearts, but Marluxia and Larxene intended to use Sora to overthrow the Organization and take control for themselves. And in the end, though Sora forgets about Namine, they do become friends. Edited October 2, 2012 by baylaust
Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted October 2, 2012 The Organization wanted as many Keyblades as possible out there, freeing hearts, Namine was thier pawn, and she was going to make Sora hers. Marluxia and Larxene tried to manipulate Sora into getting rid of the Organization, it failed, and the only way to get Sora (1 Keyblade wielder) back would be to get rid of Roxas and Xion (2 Keyblade wielders) so once he was asleep it wasn't a concern.
