Kingdom Hearts tops Nintendo Power for best potential Theatrhythm

Nay. I don't feel there is enough content to make a cohesive game. A lot of the music is just rehashed from previous games.

Aye.

I didn't bother buying the FF Theatrhythm (loved the demo though), but I would definitely buy a KH one.

Aye.

I thik it would be kind of cool, actually :3

Aye. It would be nice... but I still need a DS.

NAY! KH is an action game! No spinoffs for KH!

NAYE!

Not sure.

Heeeeeeeelllllll yeah. I'm friggin' keeping my fingers crossed they make one! Hey, hey Square....K2HD & KH Theatrythm for 2013...please and thank you. cB

nintendo power is going to be nothing in december

I wouldn't buy a Kingdom Hearts rhythm game. Ok I would. But I wouldn't want them to make one just because I think the music is better enjoyed when it's just being listened to in-game. Or on my mp3.

I'd take a Theatrhythm for all of those listed.

I love the Final Fantasy one and I'd buy a Kingdom Hearts one in a heartbeat.

Yeah I hate the fact that Nintendo Power is going to become nothing but old news (no pun intended)

aye i really hope they do

AYE! I would love that! The music in KH is so amazing that it should definitely be made into a theatrhythm game!

Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm not even a huge fan of FF but I wanted the FF Theatrhym. Just don't want it to mess with the story, aiight.

I don't like rhythm games. Guitar Hero, no. Rock Band, no.

But Theatrhythm is another story. That game was really fun and I loved playing it. I wish that I had bought it ( I have extensively played my brother's copy)

A KH Theatrhythm would be amazing, and I'm sure they'd change it to fit KH's mood. To match FF, they could divide it by games and include the Final Mixes.

That's 13 games, matching the amount of games included in Theatrhythm FF.

Playable Characters: Sora, Donald, Goofy, Kairi, Riku, Roxas, Xion, Axel/Lea, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Mickey... That's already on par with Theatrhythm FF's cast.

I think it would work very well. So, aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye!

Aye!

I was skeptical about Teathrythm FF but I loved the demo and might even buy the game eventually.

AYE.

I've only played XII and XIII in the main Final Fantasy series, and I still love Theatrythm to death. (I'm so glad they released the demo in the eShop, otherwise I probably never have gotten it.) A Kingdom Hearts version would be amazing. Plus, they already have plenty of the Chibi-character art from Re:coded.

i still "lol"ed xD

Aye. I would love to see a Kingdom hearts theatrhythm.

AYE ALL THE WAY

Kingdom Hearts has a beautiful music soundtrack constructed by Square's best composers: Yoko Shimomura, Tsuyoshi Sekito, and Takeharu Ishimoto.

Without them, the beautiful ballads and melodies would have never existed in Kingdom Hearts^^

i still "lol"ed xD

I didn't get the joke until reading your post! xD

I currently don't have an opinion on the matter.  I have never played Theatrhythm, but I've been noticing the good opinions people have about the game, so I'm downloading the demo right now to try it out.  I'm not very good at rhythm games, but I'll give it a try to see if I like it.

I really don't know if a KH Theatrhythm would be a good idea, but honestly, I hope that if it happened, it would be something that would come after the Xehanort Saga was completed xD.  I'm not one of those "ERMAHGERD Nomura wai u no releace KH3?!?!?!?!" fans, but really, it doesn't seem like something worth keeping the series on hold.

So, I just played a bit of the FF Theatrhythm demo, and I'm amazed.  I can't say I'm very good at it beyond the Basic difficulty, but it is quite different from the types of rhythm games I'm familiar with.  I believe that the touch screen gives this game so much more potential than any other rhythm game ever has had.  I really do like it, in fact, I might actually buy this.

I would love to see a Kingdom Hearts Theatrhythm if it was anything like this.  I still feel that if there is one, it should come out after KH3, but I would get it for sure if I had the system.  If I didn't have the system, I'd probably buy one compatible for it.

They could VERY easily do it, or they wouldn't have even made the poll in the first place. :/ There is TOOONS of music in the series...First you have a song for every single world, every single battle music for each of those worlds, all of the theme songs, menu screens, Utada Hikaru's KH songs, every single boss battle song in the series (LOTS of those)...There's also the huge amount of Gummi songs. That's easily 150 songs+. It's probably a few hours worth of music.

Especially if they wait until after KH 3 to do it, so it's the whole saga. There's definitely going to be between 50-100 new songs introduced. That is by FAR enough to be a cohesive game. Trust me, it'll sell. >.>

(Okay, before you ask yes I've checked the "Home" page before posting this to make sure there wasn't another thread about this. But if there is one. Then mods & administrators go ahead and lock this thread if necessary)

Nintendo Power had recently conducted a poll asking readers "What series's music would be best suited for a Theatrhythm game?" The results are below:

[*]Kingdom Hearts - 50%

[*]CHRONO TRIGGER - 24%

[*]DRAGON QUEST - 22%

[*]MANA series - 4%

So, Kingdom hearts fans, would you like to see a Theatrhymthm type game for the Kingdom Hearts series? All in favor, say "aye"

Aye. Good for Kingdom Hearts. Indeed, who needs content when there will be about three hundred songs by the time KH3 is out?
