For obvious reasons, I didn't defeat him here (read description) but this will do even better if you have more Balloon or Balloonaga (and Dark Firaga if your Riku) magic spells.

He was really easy for a secret boss. I beat him without using any Curative commands.

bad level mrs... like level 49 or 51 is a minium, i beated him easily when i was 55

Ah ok, I was mostly doing like DE stuff/trying to find brilliant stones for ryu dragon, but I think i'll just level my guys now. Thanks

Well no shit, I just posted it today. There was a video on here of a Japanese finishing the battle using my tactic (but with only Balloon instead)

balloonga over balloons, i find the homing ones to get the job done faster even though it will take a bit longer to reload, but riku has meteor smash and double jump which you can use to go over julius and deal enormous damage to him. Personally yes in this video this is a cheap and easier tactic to defeat julius since the ninja doesnt stagger much.

My fault keeps happening when I get him to use his Thunder thingy and after he goes "beserk" if he hits me my stuff loads way slower...and thats when i die because his jumping move after that always hit me. I have balloonga,balloon, and 2 dark firagas, and a curaga...i got him down to his last health bar and then died
