In the beginning, Chase was just a young teenager, who went to a highschool that controlled it's own small tournament, in which students could go and enter, showing off there strength. After a few years, Chase went on a school field to a lab reactor that tested re-usage of fire energy through grabbing fire in use. A saftey beam broke, causing him to fall into a fireball in the middle of being fired. As the fireball hit him, the ball disappeared, revealing Chase in his soul release, but then, it shortly lasted as the phoenix within him hid, wishing to not reveal itself to human eye's. The incident was just 2 days ago, in which what began the adventure of his life.

 

 

It was lunch time, 12:05 exact, location was in the gym, Chase trained in there like others, wearing 20 pound weights, punching ultra fast and kicking just as fast. He took a drink of water, washed up, then left the gym. Walking in the hall, he sighed. "What happened those 2 days ago.... I was fried....wasnt I...?" this question haunted him.

It was only a week ago, she was let out of the hospital yesterday. Back at school already. She was fine, wasn't she? She didn't feel the gun shot. Then she remembered...

 

Haruhi sat outside of the high school, looking off into the distance. She did this every day. It made her feel.... Better about herself. Nobody picked on her, made her feel bad about herself. But she just felt like she wasn't good enough. And she hated that.

Suddenly, she heard a gun shot. She fell over and didn't know why. She looked down at her chest and she was bleeding from a gunshot wound.

"What??" she said to herself.

Everybody began to circle around her. They were all yelling and screaming for somebody to call 911. Her soul was here, but it didn't show. There were way too many people.

"I'm okay, she said, but she knew she was passing out. "I'm okay......" she said passing out.

The next thing she knew she was awake in the hospital. Doctors telling her she should've died. So, why didn't she?

Jen didn't know what had happened on her trip to India, she didn't remember what her parents did. She remembered they'd been hiking in the mountains, they'd been perfectly safe. Then, she'd noticed the snow around them slowly freezing, slowly begining to circle around her. The doctors, her parents, everyone said by then she should've frozen and at the very least, begin to panic. But she'd felt safe. Sure, she was cold, but she liked it. Jen had always been fond of ice, or snow. She remembered her tattoo she'd gotten in town a few days before had begun to glow bright blue, she'd held her palm out, and then there was the ear shattering roar of a tiger, and she'd come back to reality and passed out. Her parents said that she'd fainted from altitude sickness, it had just been too much. Jen had finally come back from her 2-week long trip, not mystified by her tattoo, or how the ice had surrounded her. No, she wondered most about the tiger.

Lumi just came back from her visit in The gulf, she lives in Alaska but the trip was fun. Her parents usually don't let her go a lot of places because of her getting sick. Her Dad is moving her to a private school soon because of people ganging up and bullying her. But on the first day of private school, everything changed. After school, the winds began pick up and snow began falling. Everyone started rushing home. That was slightly hard for Lumi, you see...she lived in the woods. With a blizzard forming and the forest two miles away. In a period of five minuets, everyone was out of the streets. With the freezing winds picking up, Lumi struggled forward. With her by herself and not even close to the forest, she felt a felling that was strange to her. In about a second she blacked out and came back again. Her body for changed...now...she was a beige-white and dark spots lining down her limbs. Lumi was no longer the fifteen year old girl she usually was. Lumi was a Lynx. Since she only a little bit of time, she charged off into the woods. Her legs were stronger, she felt light, and way to quick. When her house came into view, she passed out.

It has been a week since she had discover her: Animal Soul; as she called it. "Are you okay Lumi?" Parish, one of her new friends asked. "Why do you ask?" Lumi looked sharply at her. "Well...you have been acting kind of weird ever since the day of the blizzard last week." Parish snapped. "I'm fine." Lumi lied.

The police told Haruhi's parents about what happened. Apperantly, some drunk thugs had been walking down the street with guns and had been firing recklessly firing. She just happened to get hit. Nobody else did. The police caught them in time and arrested them.

Lajixu had been lost, and it started to grow dark. She sat next to a tree in the woods, frightened. 'Where am I? How did I get here?' she thought. Lajixu stood back up after a while of thinking and started walking in a direction. She didn't know which direction she was headed in, but she hoped she would be able to get out of the woods. The darkness started to surround her. She couldn't see anything. Lajixu started running but stopped when she heard a growling sound. A big, brown bear ran forward trying to attack her. It knocked her to the ground. Lajixu grabbed a long stick. She smacked the bear with it, trying to get the bear away from her. The bear didn't run away. Instead, it broke the stick and tried to kill her.She died and transformed into a wolf. She ran toward the bear. She jumped on it, razor sharp claws sinking into the bears skin. Fangs breaking the bears skin open, the bear died. Lajixu transformed back into a human. Not knowing what happened she fell to the ground, passing out.

After school, Lumi ran into to the woods, frighted to see a girl knocked out. "HEY! Are you okay?!" Lumi yelled. "God! What do I do!?!" she thought.

Lajixu jerked up from the ground. "Woah, what happened?" she said as she saw a girl standing next to her. "Oww. My head hurts," Lajixu said as she rubbed her head.

Haruhi walked down the hallways of the high school, everybody staring at her and saying hi.

They were probably thinking, "What is she doing back here??" Well, she was only back because she hated missing school. She had perfect attendance. And anyway, she couldn't even FEEL the gunshot wound. The doctors were very boggled by this. So was she. She had gotten small cuts and things like that, she still never felt them.

Haruhi approached her locker and opened it, grabbing her needed books for 1st period.

"I just found you knocked out." Lumi said calmly. "Are you okay?" she then asked.

"I think I'm fine," Lajixu said as she stood up. She brushed herself off and looked at Lumi. "Thanks a lot!" she smiled at Lumi. "What's your name?"

"Lumi Arrtu." she said.

She smiled at Lumi. "I'm Lajixu," Lajixu held out her hand for a hand shake. "And, um, do you know the way out of here?"

"Yup." Lumi said pointing south.

"Thanks so much! I've been lost for a while." She said very grateful that she new the way out now.

Matryx goes to the same school as Chase. Their school had a fighting championship during recess and after school. Matryx was the champion. His dad was a UFC champion a few years back and Matryx followed his footsteps.Matryx was getting bored and wanted a new challenge so he was always challenging people to fight. After hearing about what happened to Chase, he chose him as his next target.

(I forgot to say I'm I'm the same high school. )

Chase was walking down the hallway of the school, just enjoying his time, whenever he decided he wanted to do something, he would just go outside, enjoy the air. He walked out back, only to see the fighting ring for the tournament grounds. "I don't really approve of violence... but then again, i've shown I could dish it if I wanted to...." He sighed in disappointment, knowing that he could fight and fend for himself, he just didn't like getting involved. He sat at the back steps, waiting for the rest of the hour long lunch.

Mark woke up that morning feeling woozy. He had no memories of what happened a week ago at that trip to the space station. All he remembered is that it was his birthday and he was gonna experience of what it's like to be an astronaut. After that all he remembered was seeing a bright light and then everything was a blur. "What happened to me?" he asked himself. He knew he should be dead. He decided to ask his parents what happened.

Matryx saw Chase sitting on the steps after whipping the floor with some dude. "Chase! I challenge you!" He pointed at Chase with a smirk. He put Chase in the spot light and everyone starred at him.

Chase looked at Matryx, with a confused look, then realized what was happening. "Wait... me?" he pointed at himself, everyone nodding at him. He sighed, then layed his stuff down. "I guess if you really wan't me to." He enters the ring, and even though he'd rather not fight. He gets into stance, then waits.

Matryx entered stance, but only for about two seconds before charging at Chase with his fist drew back. Matryx through a right hook at Chase and the match was on!

Not seeing the punch come so fast it nailed him in the face, then in retaliation, Chase quickly punched Matryx in the Upper Abdomen, right where the Diaphragm would be. He took Anatomy last year, so he knows where to hit when it comes to the human body. Chase kicked off of Matryx, wiping his face. "Not bad, for a start." Chase got back into stance.

Matryx shook off the blows dished out to him. "Not bad at all!" He smirked. Matryx went to a boxing stance and signaled Chase to come at him. Matryx was ready to block and counter Chase's attacks.

"Another fight....." She said to herself.

"I wish this wasn't the only high school in this district.... Otherwise, I wouldn't be here." she said watching the fight with sad eyes.

Lajixu made it out of the woods and ran home. She'd miss school today but she'd rather be home. Once she got home she ran to her room and shut the door. She lied on her bed wondering,'What happened in the woods last night? What killed the bear?'
