Little Question. If i remember right, Trollmura saif he want to bring KH back to the Console (Home Console) ... Ps Vita is a Handheld, isn't it?.... This fat rumor is now in my eyes an even fatter rumor than before... o-o

If it's true it would be awesome. Yeah, i'd sure buy it. And the best collection will be for WiiU: better graphic, better control and so many other things.

No. Possibly slightly better graphics but since no-one knows how to code for Wii U properly it wouldn't be significantly better. And the controller is worse; KH was designed for a regular game pad and while things such as items management would be better on the Wii U it wouldn't beat the trusty dualshock. Including the First-Person view on the screen would be quite cool, but that's about all I could think they could do.

. . . . well,last time i checked it was higher . . . (for about the last year ) I don't watch the news anymore lol but the guy I quoted thought that the US was 2 times the strength of the Aussie when they're about the same

Nope, you are surely wrong. Every game director for WiiU says that to code for WiiU is easy ( see Darksider2), the controller is better because it is classic but also it has gyroscope, camera and other things, like the TOUCH SCREEN. I can see so many improvements:

KH Bbs: "Focus" made by moving the controller on TV like a FPS or using the touchscreen, maps on touchscreen during normal story, progress mode on controller too.
KH 358/2 Days: Better control, maps on touchscreen, double screen for mission mode (one sees it on the controller, the other on TV).
KH CoM: Better control, maps on touchscreen or maybe using cards by clicking them on touchscreen.

And other things, like Gummiship's travel made by the gyroscope on the controller

yeah, 2 cents more :/ the main thing is that to get games classified in Australia it costs more (as they have no R18+ its a bitch for companies as some games get rejected), not as many games are expected to sell, and PAL is just more expensive generally as we're a smaller demographic (more expenses etc).

I think its also that the US dollar used to be able to buy $1.50 AUS so gamers got used to high prices due to this, and when it went down to the approx. 1:1 ratio its at now, retailers haven't dropped it with the exchange rate.

Australian game prices have been like that for years, marked up for no real reason and pinned on 'taxes' (if I remember right) and other things like that when the issues been bought up, although that's probably just an excuse, as the markups are almost double for alot of console games.

They might change now though, retailers are going to struggle because now alot of consumers are catching on that it works out cheap for us to import games from overseas, and ship them here than it is to buy a game at full price here most of the time, so retailers might have to markdown their prices to stay competitive.

tl;dr there's been excuse about the pricing of games here, and no actual proper reason for the markup of prices here, so it's just stayed that way.

Sorry, turns out I was a bit off there. Going by the Jak and Daxter Trilogy they seem to retail for around $60 here. Wasn't too far off though xD
The US pricing is about $20 cheaper (going by gamestop and amazon.com), so I think that seems in line with the conversions. (and the Australian markup from other countrys in retail pricing we get for every game)

I'm no expert, but I'm prettysure there shouldn't be any issue with the rights if they're just re-releasing the original game. Disney also re-released Tarzan on Blu-Ray recently, so that would support that.

This HD remake announcement is so sudden. I feel like this is fake, and it should have been announced by the creators themselves.

It's not an announcement though, it's a rumor. The guys says he has had his source tell him, and he's reported it on his site, with no official confirmation it's classified as a rumor.

If it's announced it'll be announced by Square-Enix themselves, or revealed at one of the E3 conferences.
