Did you know that Hermione Granger was named Hermione because J.K. Rowling couldn't stand the idea of someone with the same name as her being teased about being an "insufferable know-it-all" and she thought that "Hermione" was pretty safe because it's so uncommon.

Woah, what's that like? I don't mean to offend but it sounds like an interesting thing to have.

It is. :3 It kind of broadens the imagination a bit and gives me lots of energy because of the toll the colours can take on my senses.

(Sorry for ruining the game everybody. Carry on.)

This one's a little creepy.

Did you know that the nursery rhyme "Ring Around the Rosey" is a rhyme about the plague. Infected people with the plague would get red circular sores ("Ring around the rosey"), these sores would smell very badly so common folks would put flowers on their bodies somewhere (inconspicuously), so that it would cover the smell of the sores ("a pocket full of posies"). Furthermore, people who died from plague would be burned so as to reduce the possible spread of the disease ("ashes, ashes, we all fall down!")

Did you know that Hermione was originally supposed to have a sister that was to be written in during the fourth book, but Rowling couldn't fit her in.

Did you know that long time ago people thought tomatoes were poisionous.

The tomato plant is poisonous... just not the fruit (so if people did think the fruit was poisonous then it makes sense...)

Did you know that potatoes are related to tomatoes?

Did you know that this isn't true, the withering and decay of the body just give the illusion of the hair and the nails continuing to grow
