Nintendo Japan has announced that the Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS model will be discontinued.

What's your opinion on this? Do you think it's a good idea?

As an owner of an Aqua Blue 3DS, I find it cool.

And for obvious reasons this is the closet we'd ever get to a Nintendo 3DS named after a Kingdom Hearts character.

Yeah, the Aqua Blue 3DS will be discontinued in Japan. Not U.S. or any other PAL country outside of Japan. You should've been a bit more specific about this topic.

What is it with Nintendo and coloured products? It took them like a frafrillion years to release the black Wii, and they promised a bunch of colours, which we never got.
Is it really that hard?

I badly wanted a red one originally... yet they didn't release it in that colour to start with (in UK at least), so that was a bit crap. :l But I'm happy with my blue one, it looks cool.

I actually dislike this 3DS's colour bash me all you want.
I want the Misty Pink one because I didn't get a pink NDS lite.
