Okay me and my friend Luan. Well we had a fight.
But he started it, We where talking about anime and I said death note sucked.
And he start getting really mad. So he start saying Ouran sucked. Now I think we're kidding around we're having fun.
Then 4 mins later he starts yelling saying that every time he likes something I say it sucks.
But I don't all I said was death note sucked. And I was kidding! I didn't think he would get so mad cause I said death note sucked.

So tell me did I do anything wrong?

Nah, his alienation is something that goes deeper than just an anime. If anything its best to drop it, but remember in the future to not be too critical if you dont want to start dumb fights.

Not at all. He might have taken your saying of Death Note seriously and not as a joke. You might have different taste of anime, but that is nothing to get mad about. I also say that you mostly wrote "think". Don't jump to conclusions about his thoughts.

You weren't wrong at all! All you did was state your opinion. You don't like Death Note and you said you think it sucks, that was your opinion. You never said that if you think it sucks then that means whoever watches it sucks or it actually does. He shouldn't of taken it too seriously. And if you only said it about one anime, then he shouldn't be saying that you keep saying something you aren't. I'm not saying to stop being his friend, but tell him that it wasn't meant seriously, all you were saying is that you didn't like Death Note and that it's alright for him to like it. And if you like the other things he likes, tell him. It's not that bad, but it's good that you told someone. If you're a close friend with him I'm sure he'll understand.

Take a step back and look at your relationship with him. Do you ever judge him and tell him you don't like what he does? I understand that you think you don't, but maybe subconsciously you are. If you ever notice yourself saying something like this again, take note of it and then think about what to do.

Again, I don't know your whole history, so I'm just offering neutral suggestions.

In this one instance, you don't seem to do anything wrong. Just don't mention Death Note again, lol.

Well now I have to ask something else.
He said sorry today and I forgave him and blah blah blah. So I was making a joke with him then he got pissed AGAIN!
But I didn't say anything mean or rude! I keep asking him if there something going on that making him mad but he keep saying no.
Any help?
