I see what you mean about the anime, although DBZ did take that to an extreme. The thing about LOK is that it seems to be taking forever to build up, but it's really because the show is so good I can't wait for the next episode.i actually feel like the legend of korra episodes feel pretty long for 30 minutes. unlike, many other anime or shows: i.e. naruto, bleach, dragonball z. watching them sometimes i feel like nothing ever gets done in a half hour time slot.(don't get me wrong i love all of these anime.)

I don't know what you guys mean that the show isn't building up. It's been 4 eps and Korra has already challenged Amon to a duel, she's mastering the technique of airbending, next week's ep is already the semi-finals of probending, and this week we got a flashback to Aang, Sokka, and Toph (i wonder what that was about?). So it seems the story is progressing pretty fast and there's no filler. I do agree that waiting a whole week for one half hour is annoying though.

Holy. I saw the last part of episode 4. What the heck? Aang was certainly mad at someone (Amon?). As for waiting for the show, I think it's like watching Saturday morning cartoons. Haven't watched anything weekly in a long time but it's ok.

Are you referring to that flashback? bc it looked like Aang was in a courtroom with Toph and Sokka and my theory is that it was all about that Yakone guy that Tenzin mentioned earlier in the episode. I think that it was Korra who had that flashback thing, possibly bc Yakone is related to Amon some how and maybe a memory from her past life (as Aang) resurfaced at that moment.
