What percentage of US users on this site will vote for Obama even though this recession has hurt video game companies revenue because of declining game sales and a weak dollar? My guess is 85% at least.

Fewer than 70% as of now. The race is 50/50 for the most part right now. The people who don't know who to vote for yet are going to decide who takes the Oval Office.

Personally I would vote for Romney because Obama has not only failed to make things better, but has made things worse/ let them get worse.

Also, if you are going to base your vote off of video game revenue then you should be denied the right to vote. Our infrastructure is crumbling in half the country and outdated in the other half. We are also falling behind in science and medicine. Obama has not properly addressed any of these problems.

Obama is also failing to support our allies as much as he should. He basically condemned Israel to death by telling Iran they can make the first move. You don't say "come at me bro" to someone who is actually crazy enough to come at you.

He is also stepping on state rights. The individual states are what makes the country strong. A machine isn't going to function properly with rusty parts.

I can't vote, but if I could I'd vote Obama. I don't like any of the Republican candidates.

There is only one Republican candidate now. Romney has virtually locked up the nomination with his chief rival dropping out.
Also, I am talking about only people who use the forum, not in general.

I am not sure about the percentage of people who would vote for Obama, but I said fewer than 70% due hating Obama being "cool", when a good portion of people who say it don't even know what the heck they are talking about. Though, to be honest the Republican candidates all made themselves look pretty horrible with their advertisements. I swear, every commercial I saw for the elections was focused on completely bashing another candidate.

I see this is your first election.

Also, the votes for this thread should probably be anonymous.

lol, Ron Paul.

But I think 70% of our users can't vote... Either they're underaged or foreign.

I'm voting for Romney. He's the lesser of two evils.

In his defense, the congress is full of republicans.

That is sadly what almost all political commercials are. Making themselves look good and making the other candidate look way worse.

First one where I can actually remember the campaign commercials and what not. But I have to take back what I said, well half-way. I saw one of Obama's commercials, and while not nearly as bad as some of the Republican commercials got, it was still unnecessary.

I have no respect for Congress. Not only did they devote themselves to stopping progress, they made pizza a freaking vegetable (well, at least they tried to, no clue if it actually passed).
And yeah, I have figured out the commercials now. Its disgusting.

From what I gather, politics are actually rather simple:

- Everyone is pissed because they have problems
- Elect someone with the expectation to get rid of all problems
- Learn that problems don't just disappear / progress is slowed for various reasons (example: Democratic president with a Republican congress)
- Everyone gets pissed because they still have problems
- Elect someone else with the expectation to get rid of all problems

And cycle that for eternity.

wars are going to happen no matter what. i'd honestly rather have a government like the US' than an anarchy or a dictatorship any day.

I agree completely but politics are just not my thing =.= They always do something stupid and are too lazy to fix it >:I And they dont have the brains to realize that every god damn thing happening is not following the constitution & the bill of rights >:I Like letting people ban gay rights, what ever happened to Freedom and the Pursuit of Happiness? o-o
