Sadly I don't have an HD tv, or the money to buy one if I so chose to, though I would definitely do it if I could.

I have my PS3 hooked up to my HD monitor, so I play in 720p or 1080p depending on the game.

Up until last year I only had a SD TV, so all of my games I played in SD, but I didn't mind because that was all I never saw, I never got the oppurtunity to experience games/movies in high definition. Then my father got me a plasma TV for my birthday, but as luck would have it it's a old one from when high definition was just getting implimented into TV's, so it only supports 1080i and not 720p, it makes gaming on a PS3 really problematic because it downscales everything to 480p if it doesn't support 1080i, and yeah, that's not at all a pretty sight on a plasma. The 360 doesn't have that problem though, and it just upscales each game to 1080i.

So basically, half half, I alternate between SD and HD gaming depending on what resolutions the games support and what system I'm playing.

Sadly, we don't have an HDTV in our home! Soon we should though, since our giant 70's TV just broke.
