Okay, so...once you read/watch/I'm not going to summarize it b/c I am already confused by it...why didn't riku have a mark of heresy as well? Wasn't he the one OXIII originally wanted to use as the vessel? That's what YMX said, so it just doesn't really make sense to me why would they be following sora's movements from the start. I know Sora was essentially the "backup plan" but that's it. He was just the backup plan! Why would you put a tracker on plan B when generally you're more worried about plan A? And for that matter, did OXIII put that on Sora or was it Yen Sid?! And what the h-e-double sticks was it? A tracker on Sora's shirt? I mean, Sora had it from the start of the game...does this mean that it was "predetermined" he was suppose to be the vessel? Omg, I hate this concept so much and I've done wayyyyy to much thinking about it. And I know we don't have a lot of the answers yet b/c of missing scenes/waiting for translation ect ect, but this seems to be kinda a weird plot hole in the story and if anyone has a way to explain it I guess...at least to make me feel better about it.

Okay then, Here's what i understand and believe, Sora, Unlike Riku, Who had the Dream Eater Spirits's Emblem on the back of his Clothing, Or any other part of his Clothing for that matter, Was because of what Sora had said before taking the Mark of Mastery Exam, Given to him and Riku by Yen Sid, Duss, Because of what he said, That he didn't need to take the Mark of Mastery Exam to take on Master Xehanort, Once he would return, Did Sora's Clothes, Upon entering the Realm of Sleep, Reacted to Sora's feelings and so, That's why we didn't see the Dream Eater Spirits's Emblem on Sora's Clothing, Since his feelings were for sure that he could take on Master Xehanort and his Lackeys, Without the Mark of Mastery Exam, A mistake on Sora's part.

Also, About Riku, I think what the Bad Guys had meant was that because Riku had managed to build up a blockage to the Darkness's temptations and Accept it for what it is, Was the reason Riku was deemed a Faliure by Young Xehanort, Next, Was Roxas, One of the 13 "Special" Nobodies that took on the forms of Humans and duss, Serve as vessels for Ansem, The Seeker of Darkness, To place Bits and Pieces of both his and Master Xehanort's Heart into, With Roxas, Who was an even slighter advantage to Xemnas's plans, Seeing as he could wield the Keyblade, Thanks to being Sora's Nobody, Could Roxas serve as another vessel for Master Xehanort, However, Since they didn't know it would happen, The 13 "Special" Nobodies could develop Hearts over time due to the bonds they could form with other people, Namely, Roxas forming bonds with Axel and Xion but that was not the problem, The problem was that their Hearts developed in a way that they wouldn't Accept Master Xehanort's Heart and Darkness the way Master Xehanort had wanted them to and so, Only Sora was the last choice for the Xehanorts to act upon, Using his uncertainty and uneasiness, Concerning the connections that he has to people he doesn't know, Namely, Xion,Ventus,Terra and Aqua, Along with those whom Sora must save, Namely, Roxas,Axel and Namine, To the Xehanorts's advantage, At least, That's what i believe.

I'm not being mean here, just so everyone knows. I think that you have good ideas and formulate your thoughts fairly well in most of the threads I've seen you on. It's rather difficult to understand you, however, which (unfortunately) will undoubtedly make people think slightly less of you online. I know that it's rather difficult to get good at punctuation and grammar, but it is definitely possible, and I'm confident that you could accomplish that goal. One easy fix would be to only capitalize the first letter of the first word in the sentence along with names of places, people, things, and events. Capitalizing the rest makes it slightly difficult to understand, especially on top of the grammar.

I would like to apologize for not contributing to the actual topic of the thread, but as I'm rather confused about it as well, I unfortunately have no answers.

Riku has the dream eater symbol on his back because he's exactly that, a dream eater. Why? Because when Yen Sid sent Sora and Riku to destiny islands Ansem SoD interfered and Riku entered Sora's dream to protect him essentially becoming a dream eater hence the dream eater symbol on his clothes.

Anyway the reason YX and the rest of the Organization went after Sora was because Riku had built up an immunity to darkness. YX explains this in the ending of DDD.

The X on sore's clothing is irrelevant. Terra, Aqua, and Ventus also had X's on all of their clothing in BBS. (which certainly was not given to them by Xehanort.)

"sora and the last one are with me" MX says when mickey says "me, sora, riku "those three" (ven, aqua ,terra) and the last one *looks around* terra's status is unknown at this time. but Xehanort doesn't mention terra, just the last one, hence that terra-xehanort is nowhere to be found yet
