I don't understand why there are so many people hate this ending (and it's not just here, in fact there are a lot people here who seem to share my thoughts. I am mainly referring youtube/other forums). We haven't seen cgi secret endings since like...KH2. Re:coded didn't have a great secret ending and I am pretty sure DAYS didn't even have one. Kairi becoming a keybladers is not surprising since we saw she could use one at the since like KH2...so this shouldn't shock anyone. I am GLAD she's getting development b/c this is where all the hate for her comes from. She doesn't have a real personality and that not good for someone who sora supposedly cares about so much. So yeah, those are my thoughts on the issue. T_T

But i have a question...do u think MX is going to try and make Sora a vessel in the next game? I'm thinking not but I dunno, just something that came to mind.

Try this. It's not that everyone hates Kairi. It's that the secret ending, which is supposed to be a hook for the next game, was used instead to mostly tell us something we already long suspected/knew. Kairi is going to be a keyblade weilder. We knew she could weild a keyblade from KH2. That's why it feels like a waste.

If Kingdom Hearts 3 is the next game in the series then it would be very long since we would have to still find Aqua, restore Ven, and save Tera. After that fight Xehanort and there would probably be those random quests we have to do in the random disney worlds... I think there might be another game, but not KH3, and that other game has us get back Terra,Aqua and Ven. After that we have KH3 and that mainly focuses on defeating the 13 darknesses. Also, what about Sora, maybe when he left he got taken by Xehanort and ended up to be one of the vessels. We still need to find Sora. I think he is in the dream world because the ending shows him with a lot of Dream Eaters.

This is exactly how i feel, I thought that the reveals in the ending and the secret ending were pretty EPIC!! I mean think about it its finally pointing to KHIII its finaly coming!!!

Nomura said in multiple interviews that KH3D leads up directly to KHIII so while there may be another game I think it will follow more of the events of what happend after BBS if anything there is nothing else they could do...were pretty much just waiting for the climax!!

Thats not all that was revealed in the secret ending...
we learnd of what Master Yen Sid and Mickey need to do in the future, to protect the princesses of Heart, they need the seven lights and we learned that these "seven lights" Are weilders we are familiar with, another thought, nobody seems to notice that they have said they only need one more? (And this one more being Kairi of course). Could this mean that they know where our missing three from BBS are already? And how to save them?

What the crap!!! Ok so there are seven princesses. seven people have to protect the princesses. Are the seven people keyblade wielders? and they have to fight the NEW organization. whose's in the NEW organization. Are the seven protectors sora, riku, lea, mickey, kairi, terra, aqua, and ven? and how can kairi be a wielder and a princess? AHHHHHHH!!!!!! and don't lea sora kairi terra and ven need to be masters to fully be able to fight?! what about donald and goofy

It is believed that the seven are Terra, Aqua, Ven, Riku, Kairi, Mickey....the seventh is a toss up between Lea and Sora I think, I am no so sure Sora truly came back at the end I think hes lost, plus what Xehanort said anyway is hes not a true keyblade weilder.
They dont need to be masters to be able to fight, would it help yes, but remember Xehanort gave Terra his mark of Mastery in Radient Garden, while he was just manipulating him, we have not been able to confirm if Terra is truely a master.
Ven is asleep so obviously he cant take the mark of mastery, but Sora is using Ven's training and power, would it be far fetched to say if Sora ever is recognized as a Master that Ven would be too?

I do think that once we get a really good translation or after the game comes out that we'll be more clear on all of this.

The seventh one might be Kairi, since she has a Keyblade But, you're right, we'll have to wait for translations or the NA release in order to get clarity on the 7 lights or other prominent characters

My guess for the seven lights are :

1 King Mickey. He's the king of all things Disney, and this is a Disney game; or rather half of one. So they'll have to make their mascot one, at least.

2 Riku. He passed the exam, showing true leadership, a strong heart and maturity.

3 Ven. He'll be saved and rescued, & yea.

4 Aqua. Just like Ven, she'll be saved and like Riku she passed the Exam.

5 Kairi. I think that Riku is going to be her teacher, so she'll do well.

6 Lea. Riku will problery end up teaching him too. Or Yen Sid. Plus he's a poplaur character.

7 Sora. This I'm not sure about. He feels rather hurt at the moment and has been through some rough sh&*. Either this or Roxas or Xion.

No Terra because he screwed up the Exam a million times worse than Sora did.

2. Riku. Seeing as how Riku passed the Exam, and is very proficient in his fighting skills, there is not much doubt he will a 'light'.

3. Aqua. Just like Riku, Aqua passed the Exam. Given her current residence, she needs to move.

4. Ven. Ven has been through a rather difficult battle, even if he does not have a body.

5. Terra. I would not like to be in Terra's shoes. One, they are too big for my feet, and Two, Terra has been through quite a ordeal.

6. Sora. Sora, even though he failed the test, is still the hero.

7. Kairi/Xion. This is debatable. Kairi, or Xion, who has shown in the opening, could be the seventh light. I want to say Kairi, but if Kairi isn't ready, you could use Xion. However, with Xion, you have a problem. She's dead. That, and she is a Replica made from Sora's memories.

Xion was a puppet that held Sora's memories about Kairi which is why she looked like Kairi, after she collected more she looked like Sora. So it is Kairi, as Kairi was seen weilding a Keyblade at the end of II that makes sense
