Was anyone predicting that confrontation between the two like that? I know I sure wasn't. What did everyone think of Lea's new charkarms keyblade??

They show Lea and Isa being friends in Birth by Sleep. Then they show Axel and Saix talking to each other in 358/2 Days, detailing their "friendship" and discussing about about taking over the Organization, with Axel eliminating the traitors in Castle Oblivion and moving Saix in second-in-command.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they did those things for a reason. They definitely wanted to lead up to getting them more important roles and causing a more nemesis status between the two.

As for the Keyblade, that was pretty cool. With the Charkarm as the handle and the flame sprouting out. Reminds me of the One-Winged Angel that Sora can obtain by defeating Sephiroth in KH1. I likey, I likey.

To be honest, I love Lea's keyblade solely for the reaction it got from everyone else.

Sora, Riku, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, and Yen Sid: WHAAATTTTTT??????

But yeah, seeing Lea and Isa fight was unexpected but also a little sad, especially now that Lea has his heart back and can truly and completely feel the bitterness of having to fight his former best friend.

i didn't like lea's keyblade. i like the chakram part, but i hate the flame, because it's so small and oddly shaped.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but even Lea was surprised that he'd summoned the keyblade. Why do I say that? With my extremely limited knowledge of Japanese, and figuring Lea's behaviour, attitude and reaction to everyone, He joked about become a keyblade bearer to Sora and Riku, and they believed him, and then, from what I figure, he tells the two they're pretty gullible, why would he have the keyblade, and then he'd pretend to summon a keyblade.. and BAM one suddenly appears. why do I think he's surprised? The moment he it appears he goes "Eh?", because he hadn't expected it!

Take what I say as you will, I'm just assuming based on his actions, behaviours, and some small keywords. = 3=

If this is true then it's proof that it's a plot device with connection to MX's plans rather than the apparent fan-service every other person on these forums is whining about. Thanks man.

I didn't think he was actually coming their to learn about the ways of the keyblade, but it's good to know he plans to do a lot more then just fight for everyone's sake, after all, we all know the keyblade is capable of things besides, you know, fighting with.

Will the other Organization members also gain Keyblades...I mean this is a Keyblade war, Xehanort has like one keyblade wielder (him), or two counting Vanitas. Than again Xemnas might have one as implied by Nomura in an interview...that's still only three... Sora's side has Riku,Kairi (if she fights),Lea, Mickey, Roxas, Xion (if these two return), and himself... oh and eight if counts Yen Sid, maybe even nine if Namine has one... with twelve counting Aqua,Ven, and Terra...

I liked Lea's Keyblade, sort of reminds me of one of Roxas' Keyblades in days.
I feel bad for Lea, when will the old Isa return...

Lea's "new" keyblade wasn't really new it was just a mix of all the Axel/Lea themed keyblade from past games. Specifically Bond of Flame and Frolic Flame.

I think the buildup between Isa and Lea has been there since their time in Days and KH2. It was a pretty epic scene and i loved every moment of it..I thought Lea was soo badass in it .I love love love his keyblade. Lea has proven his strength of heart and has gone through many trials. It doesnt surprise me he got a keyblade . Matter of fact i think Nomura has hinted towards this since Days maybe even KH2.

Though to be honest, I think his Keyblade could have been designed much better, the handle and blade don't really fit together too well, and I know it's inspired by Frolic/Bond of Flame, but y'know...

I wasn't really surprised that Lea and Isa started fighting. If they hadn't have remembered being Nobodies, then maybe they could have salvaged their friendship, but since becoming Axel and Saix and going through what they did (and, in my opinion, Saix being jealous of Axel's friendship with Roxas and Xion), it wouldn't work out. I started laughing at Lea's facial expression when he summoned the Keyblade. I'll tell ya, that was my expression too, at first. Not sure I like his Keyblade, I thought he would have gotten Sora's Bond of Flame Keyblade, but it's awesome that they have another Keyblade wielder, even if he's a novice.
