Below is an advertisement for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] that shows that the game will be compatible with the 3DS Slide Pad. For those who don't know. The slide pad adds a second analog stick to the 3DS as highlighted in the photo.

the circle pad will allow you to adjust the camera better (kinda like how the camera adjusting in KH2 was with the right analog stick). You can still play the game without it.
