Even though we have that video, we have no means of telling if there even is going to be a game like that.

Where would they be able to fit it in? KH3D will be the stepping stone for KH3, so where would they put this game then?

I have my doubts about this game even being made...

It's the unannounced title being developed by the secret team, Nomura said this in an interview. He said is looking for an opportunity to announce something about it later this year, probably after the 3D hype dies down. You're a moron/noob if you don't accept it's in development right now. It was really supposed to be announced at E3 2010 alongside 3D.

There doesn't need to be news for it. If Nomura wanted to announce it officially, he would have already. He clearly doesn't want to unveil it just yet.

Nomura was originally hoping to announce 2 new titles at E3 2010, one other than Kingdom Hearts 3D, but due to business plannings they were unable to.

http://sqex.info/2010/06/nomura-interview-reveals-kh3d-details-and-new-title/

Bear in mind that this second title was not Re:coded, which had already been announced (even for an English release) prior to E3 2010.

Consider this interview released in February 2010 in the BbS Ultimania:

Now that Birth by Sleep is complete, we’re interested in the future titles to come in the Kingdom Hearts series…

Nomura: Kingdom Hearts III can’t be started if the goals for Final Fantasy Versus XIII are not concluded, however development of the next title(s) in the series has already begun. There’s one I plan to release within the year. After that, there’s another one I’m thinking I want to release from next year onwards, and I think there will be more than one main character again. By the way, the scene “Blank Points” in Birth by Sleep in which Sora ends up setting off on his journey is planned to connect to Kingdom Hearts III.

-- In about two years we'll hit the 10 year anniversary. So how about KH3?

Nomura: No no, that's still a secret (laughs). The title with a connection to the mystery series that I mentioned before will come out first.

The game Nomura is talking about in the bolded sections is NOT KH3D.

He says so himself, a year later, in the Re:coded Ultimania:

When we were discussing in the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Ultimania, you mentioned that there were 2 new Kingdom Hearts titles other than Kingdom Hearts III coming up. One coming out in 2010, and one more being announced in 2011. It seems the title releasing in 2010 was Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, but what about the other one? Were you referring to Kingdom Hearts 3D or Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix?

Nomura: No, at the time of that interview I intended to hint toward a different project. However, focusing my energy on Kingdom Hearts 3D and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix comes first. Since a new Secret Episode is revealed in the Birth By Sleep Final Mix, I definitely want it to be seen. I think when you see it you’ll be excited for future developments.

This is about the tenth time I've posted this on these forums. Get with it noobs.

(Sorry for stealing your interview quotes in advanced Mog!)

In other words at the time of the BBS Ultimania, neither BBSFM or KH3D existed (or if so, in such an abstract form they weren't worth mentioning), but also take note of how he redirects the question to advertise for BBSFM, specifically the secret episode which would hint at BBSV2. With that in mind this "different project" was BBSV2. Nomura also didn't deny that Re:coded was one of the "two titles" as he did do with BBSFM and KH3D.

This fits into what he said at E3 2010:

So lastly, can you please give a message to the players?

Nomura: A while ago I mentioned that there were "two titles" in conception, and it might look like those two titles were put on display at E3 this year. However, that has actually increased by one title with this (KH3D). (Editor: the remaining one title is still a mystery.) Our goals behind coming to E3 this time wasn't just for the announcements, but also in order to have some business meetings. We plan to go to E3 again next year, and there are still some hidden treasures, but first of all, please enjoy Re:Coded, of which we are planning to explain the release date soon.

(note: The paraphrased version said announced while this says displayed)

So before we go on lets clarify one thing: what were the "two titles other than kh3" that Nomura mentioned in the BBS Ultimania? These were Re:coded and BBSV2.

Unless you understand this, you are going to misinterpret the BBS Ultimania (which is why I am including this interview last).

-- Now that Birth by Sleep is complete, we’re interested in the future titles to come in the Kingdom Hearts series…

Nomura: Kingdom Hearts III can’t be started if the goals for Final Fantasy Versus XIII are not concluded, however development of the next title(s) in the series has already begun. Nomura: No no, that's still a secret (laughs). The title with a connection to the mystery series that I mentioned before will come out first.

We know that nothing in the bold is kh3d, so what is it? BBSV2. So then why is the mystery title said to come out within the next 2 days 22 hours and 22 minutes (that was a crazy coincidence!)?

The answer is simple: KH3D didn't exist. Now that KH3D does exist and is going to come out in a matter of days, does that mean that BBSV2 was cancelled? No. First realize the primary reason for KH3D to have come into being. If Versus XIII releases before the end of the year, KH3 would then be released nearly two years later, or late 2014. To have only one side game between Re:coded and KH3 simply wouldn't cut it so they came up with a new plan revolving around KH3D. Re:coded would include a secret movie that would introduce KH3D, the non-japanese BBS would include another secret boss for the same reason, and also be the impetus for a final mix version. Suddenly we have a year or two of extra games, including BBSV2.

TLDR/non-rant-version:

-KH3D was realized partly to fill the gap between Re:coded and KH3, so it obviously wouldn't sacrifice another game

-BBSV2 has been advertised through BBSFM which was released way after KH3D began development. At the absolute least, KH3D couldn't have directly cancelled BBSV2.

-(No summary for evidence)

And that is why BBSV2 is still going to be released.
