why do I feel like Im getting fatter?

So I noticed ive been able to eat more than ever before. I havent really been gaining weight like everyone I gain weight after I eat something but by the time im hungry again Ive lost that weight. But with my shirt off my stomach looks bigger when im not full but im not hungry am I still digesting my meal? I always forget to check in the mourning because im usually in a rush to go to school. I excersize alot everyday. I walk home everyday from school 1.1. miles plus I'll go on the tredmill 1-3 times during the evening. Occasionally I will do a full workout and Im not seeing any change in anywhere else but my stomach. Im 5'3 about 140 pounds.. Am I right or am I gaining weight? I also do track in the winter and spring and Cross Country in the fall so I do alot of running.. Thanks.

The best way to tell that you are gaining weight is to weigh yourself and take measurements. If you think its different periodically through the day, set specific times in the day to weigh and measure yourself everyday to see. Personally, I dont think your weight can really change drastically through the day. If you think you are eating too much, try eating slower and eat in small portions. Sometimes you end up eating more than you need to because your body doesnt have time to tell you it has enough. And drink plenty of liquids. Your stomach can growl when its thirsty too. Really there is no cause to freak out. 140 isnt a terrible weight to be at, despite what super models will tell you. Keep yourself active and eating well and youll be fine.

I would recommend tracking your diet and making sure you're not having too much of one food group since you need a balanced diet to stay healthy.
Are you doing any sort of toning work outs?
If all you're doing is cardio you need to do tone more as well.
And then just listen to Loki, Loki is smart.

aww dont worry ur not fat i weigh more than you im 5'6 and i weigh 160 and i aint fat. your still a teenager so maybe you still got some baby fat on you, which also means your still growing (guys dont stop growing till their mid-twenties i think) so that could be a reason too, also u eat alot and excerise so your metabolism is in full force good for you :) , so add all those together and you get one healthy, hungry,growing kid! u got nothin to worry about ;)
