The only reason Terra, Aqua and Ven had armors was to travel through space/the Lanes Between without being consumed by the darkness. The armors doesn't help them in any other shape or form at all, other than keeping them safe from the darkness in the Lanes Between. Them using their armors in their final battle against Xehanort and Vanitas in BbS was pointless. It doesn't boost your strength, or anything.

As long as Sora has a Gummi Ship he can use, he doesn't need an armor. It won't help him in his final battle against Xehanort.


Also, where's the spoilers?

You forget the most important thing of the armors purpose.......protection in battle(the most important battle). We saw Terra, and Aqua get owned by hundreds of keyblades. If they didn't have it on they most likely would have been dead. It's good to be cautious.
