As you all know, the ah-mazing book, The Hunger Games is becoming a movie in March. This is one of the best books I have ever read, and I decided to make a Hunger Games RP. This is my first RP, so everyone just bear with me.


Rules:
1. Normal KH rules, no godmodding, no controlling other peoples chacater without permission etc.
2. Only one chacater per person.
3. Only two people per district, but they do not have to be one boy and one girl, just to make it easier on us.
4. Be creative! Exp. If 7 people are using a bow, try and use another weapon. Let's have some variety!
5. No killing, I know that is the main purpose of the Hunger Games, but please keep reading.
6: During the Hunger Games, you can make allinances with other people, you don't have to, but you all are working for the same goal and greater good.
7. Follow The Hunger Games rules (the ones I haven't already broken which means, no item such as a ring with a poisoned spike and such as your item from the district, the 'unwritten rule' which is don't eat other people, don't kill yourself (refer to rule #5)
8. Keep cussing to a very, very, very small minium
9. Keep it to a PG-13 level
10. You need a Capitol representative, two mentors (unless you choose 12) a prep team, and stylist. When deciding your clothes, refer back to rule #9 (If you choose 12 as your district, Cinna and/or Portia may be your stylist, Haymitch your mentor, Effie your Capitol rep. and Octavia, Flavius, and Venia as your prep team.)

Story

Its reaping day. You walk outside, hungry, or well-clothed. Some are anxious to be picked, others pray not so they keep their familes alive. They draw the names, and yours is called. You walk up, whether head held high or shaking with fear. When you arrive at the Capitol, you find the other contesants plan to break out of the Hunger Games. The world is watching, and you will be making the hugest rebellion to the Capitol ever. Happy Hunger Games.

Name: Brent Winter

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tall, built for working in a factory, and a great runner. Has long bangs and long hair, green eyed. Black hair. Black pants, jacket.

Bio: A boy who grew up with his parent (dad) being mayor. He was reaped, much to his parent's horror. He never liked them anyway...

District: 8

Personality: Loner, but is not afraid to make allies. Hateful of parents.

Weapons: Throwing Knifes.

Opinion of the Capitol: Actually indifferent.

Item from District: Token from girlfriend before dying in factories, a metal rose.

Gender:Female

Bio:Kataree has two older sissters and has a gift for music even though she lives in the "Harvest" district. She has worked as a cook and a nurse-maid to the younger children. She can spot edible herbs in forest and edible berries. She occasionaly hunts when she needs to with a 12 in. dagger. She is friendly and favored by many of the children in the district. Her sissters work as harvesters have being older than she.

District:11

Personality:like the wind, can be a gentle breeze, but can also destroy when need be.

Weapons:12. in. dagger

Opinion of the Capitol: Rude, out there, only thinks of itself, abusive, takes things to easily

Bio: Miki is the oldest in her family but her younger brother and sister are too young for reaping, which she's happy about. Miki never liked resulting in begging for food, so they trade off what they have for other things sine Miki owns a small garden.

District: 8

Personallity: stubbornish, cheerful at times but also serious

Bio: Ebony grew up in the "Lumber"district taking care of her younger brother. Her older sister died in the hunger games 3 years before and was left to care for the bopth of them. She worked hard everyday tieing bundles of logs to be shipped. She is also very clever and can easily solve problems.

District: 7

Personality: Clever, Caring, loyal

Weapons: Short sword and hatchet

Opinion of the Capitol: Hates the capital

Item from District: Bracelete made by her brother with a vine.

Name: Michael Riado

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tall, strong, and fast. Short, beautiful brown hair. Scar on left shoulder from a fishing accident.

Bio: A prideful fighter from the sea, Michael grew up training for his day in the HG. He volunteered himself to go in because he wants to fight all the districts and win.

District: 4

Personality: Boastful personality. Builds himself up to be this powerful warrior, although he may be cocky, he never lies.

Weapons: Trident and net.

Opinion of the Capitol: Understands the Capitol, but despises it to his very core.

Item from District: Gold ring over his left thumb. Inside the ring is inscribed "Let the sea be your ally."

Name: Achilles

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: 6'2" Broad, somewhat muscular but not overdone. Shortish strawberry blonde hair, and a firm handshake.

Bio: Achilles grew up in one of the Capitol's "Pet Districts." With his older brother, Ulysses, having won a Hunger Games already, Achilles volunteered so that he could match his brother's glory. Strong and tough, Achilles harbors a deep feeling of inadaquacy after people raved about his brother for years and ignored him.

District: 13 2

Personality:He comes off as tough and strong and is hard to make friends with. However, he is suprisingly sympathetic towards others but hides this.

Weapons: Bowblade (A sword that can transform into a crossbow), but if unable to use one he can fight with any sort of blade handy (knives, longswords, katanas... he did grow up in the weapons district!)

Opinion of the Capitol: Neutral; he views the Hunger Games as the greatest glory.

Item from District: A pure diamond knife that has been passed down by his family for generations. His brother used it to slit 15 throats in his year. The blade has dulled from blood and fire from the games so that it won't cut anymore.

Name: Allen Weaver

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Bio: Allen is one of the unfortunate souls who is from district 11. He loves it there he just hates the living conditions. In the past Allen would get more food than the adults but ever since he turned 18 he had to fend for himself. He would smuggle crumbs from the bread into a pouch from each loaf he made. In doing this when he got home he'd pound the crumbs together just to make himself not even half a loaf. But Allen is actually happy to be chosen to go. He just wants to get out of district 11 even if it means dying, he just doesn't want to go through that poverty and starvation any more.

District: 11

Personality: Quiet, keeps to self, but nice to others

Weapons: Dual Machetes

Opinion of the Capitol: He believes that Capitol needs to end its tyranny and stop taking the little his district has

Item from District: A notebook to journal his days in the games but between the pages is a four leaf clover that he found out in the fields one day

Corrupted, the hunger games is only available for people aged 13-18, so your character being 19 wouldn't be able to be in the games.

XIIIswords and corrutped keyblade, you need to change your item from your district because it needs to be one that wouldn't give you an unfair advantge, fighting wise. You could change it to where the tip is too dull or just keep the hilt, just change that and you'll be ready to go

Bio: Keithia is kind, dreamy girl who's world was shattered when her younger friend was reaped. She volunteered, knowing she had a better chance of survival than her friend. She sworre to her mother she would win, if not for her own sake, but for her mother.

Bio:soul used to be a rich kid because his father was a peacekeeper but his father died so now,soul and his family had became poor and soul decided that he would take part in the games to win back at the capital for what they did to him and his family.soul decided that whoever got chosen,he would volunteer as a tribute

Personality:soul is a quiet guy.he was trained by his father but soul had watched old re-runs of the hunger games and found himself liking a two handed weapon.soul doesn't like to kill but to survive he will do anything.

We'll begin when we get enough people (tell your friends!!!) if there are only one or two empty districts, then they'll be extra people that we'll just have to kill in the begining. we would refer them as 'the boy from district 5' and so on
