I was just replaying kh2 and i saw the sora v. rocas fight amd how roxas can use synch blade.....since roxas is sora's nobody doesnt this mean sora can use synch blade too? And maybe thats something that sora learns after waking up from the realm of sleep?

Roxas can duel weild because Sora can duel wield Sora can also duel wield in his base state.

Sora can duel wield in his normal form, but they just found it cool to have it as drive forms.

You are missing the point .. Sora can dual wield bc Roxas can and Vice versa..They both have Vens heart when merged anyways

Sora did duel wield at the end of KH2, he used Riku's keybalde.

Sora duel wields in cutscenes throughout KH2. However, from a gaming point of view, having two Keyblades would take so much of the fun out of the game, by being able to defeat heartless so easily and if they made heartless stronger, it would create plot holes and besides that, it would mean that the Drive Forms would be useless and thus the game's fighting style has no real good features. And that's boring. Please consider that Kingdom Hearts is a game! It's meant to be played, so the way the game goes is based on what would make the player happy not the people who like Kingdom Hearts for the cutscenes and story ONLY.

From what I understand, Roxas could wield a Keyblade in general because of Ventus' heart being inside of him, and he can dual-wield because he absorbed Xion, allowing him to wield her Keyblade. I can't fully explain why this is the case, but it has just become what I believe to be the truth. I'm not quite sure how to explain the rest of it, never been too great with all these twists and turns in the game.

Roxas can wield two bc of Vens and soras.. Nomura even confirmed that both Roxas and Sora were using the same keyblade at the same time while Sora was in CO in CoM and Roxas was in Days.. This is confirmed

Sora can dual wield in base form, they just had the Drive Forms as a game mechanic, as KeybladeKing said. If he dual wielded all the time, it would be too easy. Also, once Sora give Ven his heart back, he will no longer be able to Dual Wield.

I did read it, I was just stating my opinion on the situation, whether or not it was actually correct. Considering just about everyone is saying something different, obviously I'm wrong To an extent I guess, idk, like I said, I'm not great with figuring out this stuff.
