You can't go back to Destiny Islands in KH1 either.

There was nothing of importance there, and Master Xehanort had no Idea that Aqua and Terra had designated successors.

That, and the world probably has no actual collision Data, since you never have a playable portion inside of it.

Or Day's for that matter. It helps give destiny Islands a more special feel with that same island shown all the time.

well in kingdom hearts 1 the island was engulfed by darkness therefore it was apart of "end of world". Sora awoke in twilight town in Kingdom hearts 2 so he never originaly went to the island on the gummi ship and therefore could not return. There was no reason to go to the island in days due to the whole point of the organization collecting hearts meanwhile their were no heartless on the island at the time. For BBS there was no original reason to go their being there mission was to protect the princesses of hearts, after they visited they couldn't return for the obvious reasons of them being locked away.
