Maybe this would be a better way to put it: The mysterious man who has the form of young master xehanort is the mysterious man from bbs. Young Master Xehanort in DDD will not be the same YMX as the one from bbs such as how Roxas and Ven aren't the same person.

Maybe I misunderstood your original statement I quoted cause wouldn't that be traveling forward in time? Anyways I would guess he went back to that time for a purpose, but definitely not to stop them from destroying the X-blade (I'll just omit my reasons).

But I think that we should no longer address the 'boy with golden eyes' on KH3D as 'YMX' because I thought that maybe he is not really young form of master xehanort but someone who is entirely new to the series. I would address him as 'mysterious figure' for now since we REALLY don't know who he is.

That 'boy with golden eyes' could very well be Terra. Riku's hair had already been silver, so the effects of Ansem possessing him weren't that big, his hair just differed in color a bit. But Terra was possessed by him for nearly 11 years, so his hair becoming that shade of very light brown is very possible.
I'm almost positive that's Terra.

Nomura: He is the mysterious man who appeared in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix as a boss who manipulated time. Just who he is will be told in KH3D. Everywhere he goes, a few people of the darkness turn up, like how Vanitas came out in the trailer.

He is the Mysterious Figure but his purpose is not yet known nor who he really is. I am betting that he is a new character entirely. He may be related to Master Xehanort but that's about it. Contradicted to my earlier thoughts, he might not be young master xehanort that we've all been theorizing.
