According to Testuya Nomura, Square Enix is planning on releasing a second demo for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy on the eShop in Japan. He also noted that the ending in Kingdom Hearts 3D will be one that is very unconventional for the series and that there will be a secret ending that will tie into the next game

He's saying unconventional ending now? That's different from surprise ending, that could mean anything. It may not even have anything to do with the story but rather the way it's panned out.
