Recantly I'm totally obsessed with CSI ( Crime Scene Investigation ) New York. Even thought it contains a lot of certain scenes I like it and I'm watchin it almost every day.
So I decided to write my own episode ( how original  ).
This is a PG14 for a reason. It may contains strong language, hard violence, sexual themes, drugs and other things that we usually meet in a CSI crime show.
It can also be hardly readble, cuz I know a lot of things connected to science and biotechnnology. That means you can find exspressions used in a world of science.
Characters of the CSI team belong to CSI team. Others are made up.
Hope you'll enjoy.
PS: This is a first story where I am not using chapters.
It was a begging of the day when Mr. Robert Moore was going in his office. He was lawyer in New York City which wasn’t exactly easy. But he also liked to help people.
Right now he was waiting for traffic lights to turn green for walkers. His mind was full about a meeting with an important customer, so he didn’t noticed a noise in a smaller street. He only had a few streets to reach his warm office.
But an unexpected thing prevented him from continuing his usual way.
Mr. Moore clearly heard hard coughing that was coming from the smaller street near the place where he was standing. He carefully went closer. For every step he made, he could hear coughing louder. Then he finally saw what was causing it.
There was a boy, partly leaning against the wall. His hands were weirdly set behind his back. He didn’t look well duo to the coughing he was causing and injuries all over his body.
“Hey kid! Are you alright?” Mr. Moore carefully asked.
Boy didn’t respond. He only took a look at him. For a moment he just stared and then quickly ran to the man.
“Please… I… need… help! Please sir! Help!” boy yelled while coughing.
“Hey take it easy. I’m not gonna hurt you.” man said and placed his hand on boy’s shoulder.
The moment that hand touched boy’s shoulder, boy moved away very quickly. Like the hand was covered in fire. Man gave him a weird look as the boy moved away even further.
“What’s wrong? Are you afraid of me?” man asked when he found out why are boy’s hands set behind his back.
Boy’s hands were clapped in handcuffs very tightly.
“Is police after you? Did you do something?” man asked again what made boy upset.
“No I… I didn’t… I need help sir…” boy kept yelling.
“Why?” man asked.
“Please… you gotta…” boy tried to say when he suddenly collapsed.
Man first made sure if boy is still alive and called the police along with ambulance.
Mac Taylor was the second on the scene along with some of his workmates. Stella Bonasera went making photos when Don Flack was talking with Mr. Moore.
Boy was now lying on a hospital trolley, while Sheldon Hawkes peer - reviewed him.
“So what can you say about the boy, Hawkes?” Mac asked.
“No ID, from 12 to 16 years old, maybe a bit too much slim body, short blond hair, blue eyes…” Hawkes started.
“What about his condition?” Mac continued.
“A lot smaller injuries, from bruisers to cuts. Bigger bruiser around his neck… possible that someone wanted to choke him. Dislocated hands are consequence of the handcuffs. They were so tight that bone simply left its usual place.”
“Witness said he was coughing. Do you know the reason?”
“It could be from the bruiser around his neck. Perhaps someone was squishing his neck, but not long enough to kill him. Boy needed to clear throat for breathing. ”
“It could be from a brutal fight. But where did the criminal had got the handcuffs?”
“Beats me. I’ll take his clothes now. Should ambulance bring him into hospital or headquarters?” Hawkes asked.
“Better in the headquarters… I have a feeling someone wants to finish what he had started.”
Just before ambulance men came to pick the boy, Stella came to make some more pictures of the boy.
“Any signs of battle?” Mac asked her.
“No, just a usual trashy New York’s street. But I did find this.” she said while showing on a piece of paper.
Mac carefully spread it to see an interesting thing on it. Piece of paper was actually a handmade map of the bigger part of New York. It was very detailed and had a big cross right on the… police station.
“What do you think it means?” Stella asked.
“Don’t know, but something’s is telling me that the boy wasn’t playing treasure hunt.” he answered.
“What’s up? Find anything?” Flack broke in on.
“Not sure. You?”
“The witness’s name is Robert Moore. He’s a lawyer in a building over there. He found this boy this morning on his way to work. Boy was just standing there and when he got closer, boy begged him for help. After that he collapsed.” Flack read his notes.
“Anything unusual?” Mac asked.
“Boy was afraid of his touch.” Flack answered.
“Then violence could be possible. Victims of brutal violence usually can’t stand a touch from others, cuz they think, they will be thrashed again.” Stella said.
“Let’s get back and see what we can found from his clothes.”
Meanwhile Danny Messer was examining the boy at their headquarters. Hawkes already took the clothes and handcuffs off him and started searching for DNA or any possible fingerprints. Danny took some samples from his neck, hands, nails and face. While he was working Lindsay came, holding a folder.
“Any luck?” she asked.
“We’ll see.” he said while giving her DNA samples. “Do we have anything from clothes?”
“Well… Adam analyzed weird spot from the pants. It appeared as the… crystal in liquid.”
“You mean LCD? Thing they use for televisions and cameras?”
“Yeah and we found traces of gas on his shoes.”
“Hmm that kid sure had a wild night. Was there anything else?”
“We’re still analyzing his clothes… but the clothes seem second –handed. Pants were so big that he probably needed a strong belt, when a shirt was too small for at least two sizes.”
“You think he’s a tramp?”
“No, if he was a tramp he’d be dirty. He was still a bit clean when we found him. You can even smell a body lotion on him.”
“Then we’ll have a far harder job.” Danny sighted.
