I actually agree Kairi's the most underappreciated person in kh you won't believe how annoyed I am when all of a sudden i realize part of the goal i have at the moment is save Kairi!! I always say AGAIN?!?! but i can't decide either Kairi or Vexen......

Not really. The least appreciated is probably Vexen in both the game and by the fans. Let's face it, the only good thing he did was make the Riku Replica.

I agree, his main purpose was to be the explanation for the riku replica.

Also agree how Roxas and Kairi don't get the atention they deserve. Kairi is shown as a "main character" but out of the series she has about 25 minutes worth of dialogue.OUT OF ALL THE GAMES! As for Roxas, he really is an important part of the plot who should be getting his dues as a character it's like the minute he's gone, he's gone, you'll get de ja vu for Sora when he's done something Roxas has, and that it. Other three characters are Ventus,Terra, and Aqua. These are probably tied for second most under appreciated character. They worked they asses off to save all the worlds, stop the x blade from forming, stop Xehanort, and then suffer more than any group of KH characters and WHAT!?!?! No one.NO ONE remembers them for all they did.Then that dum bass Sora came in and firetrucked it all up and resurrected Xehanort! Way to go kiddo! No before the Sora fan girls come at me with pitchforks and torches allow me to say that if Sora had actually stop for a second and try to learn what the hell was going on, things would be different.But noooooo- let's hack ad slash everyone who dares opposes him! and now I'm off topic!

But by far the most under appreciated KH character is Xion. Let's think about t, she is a major part of Roxas story and greatly affected everything.Without her, Sora would most likely still be alseep, Roxas would have never left the organization, and a lot of secrets would never have been recovered if she had not been created.Heck remember she was the big reveal of Ventus!Yet she only appears in one game, she gets bashed by some of the other characters,then she forgotten,completely forgotten.She's even often forgotten often in te fanbase, when I type in organization 13 in say deviant art she often isn't in the group arts!
Namine seems to be more bashed in the game, but I'eve seen countless fanarts, fictions, and videos of her byherself or in a paring, so I don't consider her underappricated, in fact she actually has mre scenees than her somebody does!

The most under respected person in KH is by far Horace Horsecollar.

But I would say the most under appreciated character would be either Kairi or Namine. Namine still need her thank you and I'm still waiting to see Kairi wield a Keyblade other than that one time. If Kairi plays the Princess Peach role again its going to get annoying. and Vexen deserves to be under appreciated, he's too creepy >_<

I agree with Vexen. He was the creator of the Replicas which had a huge impact on the storyline, yet no one likes him. I would also say all the female characters could use some more love from the fans. I don't know what it is that if a character's a girl she must be hated >.>

A good explanation to this is the yaoi fans, definitely.
They don't like female characters interfering with teh buttsecks.
Vexen is pretty much only hated 'cause he's ugly. I personally firetrucking love Vexen, but that's just me.

Most of the fans of KH2 are yaoi fangirls who haven't even played the other games; they're only into the fandom because ZOMG LOOK AT ALL THOSE HOT DUDES IN CLOAKS OMFG IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN AKUROKU YOU'RE FOREVER ALONEEEEE.
As I used to be one of these monstrosities, I'd know. :/ It gives the entire KH fandom a bad name...

Vexen hasn't really done anything legitimately creepy - he's a mad scientist without a heart, what the hell were you expecting?
He's a genius. He's done a lot in the game's storyline, but it's all to naught since he's apparently "creepy" or "a pervert" when really he isn't either of those. That's just Fandom Rumors, pretty much.

People are confusing "unappreciated" with "hated". They are two separate things.
